this hotel is centrally-located, being in the heart of Ginza and thus within convenient walking distance to Tokyo Station for all subway, train, and Shinkansen lines. there are shops and restaurants located all around the hotel, including some 24-hour eateries. the hotel was clean, quiet, and the room and facilities were adequate for a solo traveler. I liked not having to pass through reception to get to my room. The hotel room itself has great lighting options, a comfortable bed, and a large safe for laptops, etc which was very reassuring. it also had all other standard provisions in the room. above all else though, the location and access to the transportation network at a good price are what stand out for this hotel. I appreciated the daily water bottles. front desk and cleaning staff alike were welcoming and very polite.

While clean and decorative, some of the room interior appears slightly cheap (plywood drawers) or lacking more modern conveniences (multiple language TV beyond just one repetitive BBC channel, in particular). I surprised that there was no natural ventilation, since the windows do not open. I didn’t get a unique vibe to the hotel.

Great location: right in the heart of Ginza, 5 mins walk to Ginza station and to the main street, close to convenience store and great restaurants/cafe. Great services from staff, the lady at the reception helped us making a golf booking at Fuji and gave us confirmation of the booking the day after via email. One of the gents at the reception also gave us good recommendation of the closest coin laundry. On our last day, the staff also helped us with the necessary boxing tools for packing.

We booked a room with Queen + Sofa Bed for the family of 2 adults + 2 small children). Great configuration but the sofa bed is rather hard for the kids, however still acceptable for adults.

Staff at check in was very accommodating. We even got a small token for joining the All Accor. The rooms are a good size compared to other hotels we have stayed in. We enjoyed the breakfast offering Japanese and western food. Location is very near the main shopping district of Ginza. Mc Donald's, Lawson, Starbucks Reserve are nearby. Metro station just in the underground of the hotel. Their Hotel Manager was especially nice, he graciously attended to us while we were waiting for our taxi. He even gave us Apple Cider Sake to try, which was really good. Will definitely come back!

Very convenient and walking distance to all the shopping malls around Ginza.

Wish we could have an english instruction for the TV to change the language choice. Ends up, we didn't bother to switch on the TV. Room a little bit cramps if you come with 2 big luggage. But the bed is super nice after the whole day walking exploring Tokyo City.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a great size for a central Tokyo location, the bed was bigger than I expected, and the housekeeping staff did a great job. The area is beautiful, clean, and quiet. I have only been to Tokyo once now but will absolutely use Tokyo Mercure Ginza again. Also, I had a package delivered at one point and expected a charge but there was none, so thank you for that. The housekeeping staff kept the provided mini fridge stocked with water too, which was much appreciated. Overall a great stay, far exceeded expectations. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Nothing. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and have nothing negative to say about our stay at all.

The location in Ginza is great. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. And the receptionists were super friendly, helpful and spoke very good English - which we found extremely rare on our trip through Japan.

The room was extremely small for the price and we were really disappointed to find a plastic cabin instead of a real bathroom in a Mercure Hotel. We also stayed at the Mercure Kyoto Station and compared to the exceptionally beautiful room and proper bathroom that we had there, this room was a bit underwhelming. But all in all a good hotel and by far not the worst we stayed in during our trip.
