This is by far my favorite hotel during my stay in Tokyo. It's relatively new so everything is clean and shiny, the room is really comfortable with a small partition. They offer a hot spring bath directly in the hotel, and free popsicles/yogurt drink. The free soba ramen that they offer in the late evening is really delicious. Overall a hidden gem in the busy district of Ginza and I hope I will visit again soon.

The lobby can be a bit small if there are many guests awaiting service. Also there is construction work going on right next to the hotel (not the hotel's fault, and they do make it clear on booking's webpage), but just something to be cautious of if you're a light sleeper. Oh and their replies to booking.com's messages were a bit slow...

Amazing breakfast and centrally located within Ginza. The onsen facilities are a special treat after a long day exploring Tokyo as is the free unlimited ice cream and the late night ramen. Super clean facilities and the dining room is a nice place to converge in the evening if you’re here with family and friends.

Nothing - our new favorite stay in Tokyo!

A beautiful boutique feeling hotel in a quiet location in Ginza. The rooms are simple but the onsen is really beautiful. They have black water, which I failed to ask what sort of mineral content is in it but it left my skin soft, and it was much needed after my 14 hour flight. The staff are there to help you in all ways. They let me check in a half hour early, (though I arrived at 8:30am and wished I could've used the onsen right away). They held my bags when I arrive well before check-in time. The location is a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro line. I really liked this area in Tokyo, it's not crazy like Shinjuku. It's quiet, more refined, but easily accessible. It is also close to the tsukiji fish market.

This was our second favorite hotel during our 4 weeks traveling all over Japan. (Our fave was their sister property Dormy Premium in Kyoto.) We were enchanted for 5 nights. Excellent facilities and super clean. Sensational breakfast buffet. Outstanding, clean and beautiful onsen with luxurious hot soaking bath and sauna and many cleansing cubicles. Spacious room (for Tokyo) and well appointed. Very quiet. The cheerful staff wear traditional yukatas and were super helpful. The laundry facilities are really useful. Location is great near the subway station and many restaurants. Evening ramen was popular. We loved the free matcha latte and tea and coffee machine in the dining room. Highly recommended!

Nothing. A perfect stay!

The location is very walkable to the Ginza and Tsukiji Market. (We are both almost 70 years of age.) A convenience store is across the street from the hotel. We liked the wash basin and vanity area. The housekeeping staff were helpful and polite.

The room was a little too small for us. The air/heat for the room was a little difficult to navigate with no English instructions. I didn’t realize that I had signed up for a room with no cleaning. And I didn’t read the fine print (until later) that I could have had the room cleaned for a nominal extra fee. English for the check in staff was not good so I didn’t know we had that option. I wish the front desk person had informed us.

Great location, very spacious room, and the private outdoor bath was a nice touch. We did the included breakfast which was really nice. If you want more of a ryokan type experience to really get the Japanese feel then this is a good place to stay. The room has plenty of space for 2 adults and an 11 year old. The table in the lounge space with sunken floor was nice if you eat in the room or need to do some work.

Beds are on the floor, one mini pillow per bed, elevators way too busy because of the basement bath and 2nd floor restaurant, have to take shoes off to get to your room, tv was tucked in a nook so could only be seen from one of the beds.

We stayed one night at the Dormy Inn and wish we could have stayed longer. Our beautiful spacious room was on the top floor, Japanese design/style but with proper beds (not futons). The room felt like an apartment, with plenty of room for myself and my two grown up daughters. We had a small balcony with views of the tall buildings of Ginza surrounding us. Our room also had its own private Onsen – small but two of us fitted into it quite comfortably. We also used the hotel’s residents’ Onsen located in the basement – this was lovely. We were surprised and delighted with all the freebie items on offer from this hotel – there were nuts, biscuits, soft drinks, ice creams, beers and more on a help yourself basis – thank you! From its location in Ginza, we walked a few minutes to the heart of Ginza where we were spoilt for choice in terms of restaurants and shops.

Overall excellent, I recommend this hotel with no hesitation, we loved it.

The hotel was really clean and the personnel were professional. The reason for us to choose this hotel was to have peace of mind and it did give it. Had no problem with the hotel or its amenities. Onsen and free noodles were great. The location was superb. Ginza is one of the centers of the city and there are a lot of eateries and shopping areas. Locals I talked to were jealous of the location. There are metro stations couple of minutes away. It was easy to get to from Narita airport. The hotel has free washing machines and they provide towels and pajamas so you don't have to bring much baggage. Some comments mentioned that bad and pillows were too stiff but they were comfy in my opinion. After a day of traveling in Tokyo we didn't have any problems sleeping.

Days before we arrived at the hotel I got very obvious phishing scam messages. I contacted the hotel via phone and they explained that basically they got hacked and told me to ignore it. While this is not the fault of the hotel I wanted to mention it.

Little perks add up to make a very attractive package. Ramen supper, welcome sweet in fridge, onsen plus refreshing lollies, location (Ginza area), a new property.

We all loved our stay at the Dormy Inn. The onsen was a huge hit with the women in our group, it was realaxing well maintained and equiped with all your personal needs. My husband used the men’s onsen and he said it was extremely quiet and relaxing. We all loved the complimentary drinks and ice cream after 3, the yakult in the morning was also good. We had the free ramen each night at 9:30pm, we all felt this could have been a little earlier maybe 9pm. The free washing machine was also great, there are three in the men’s onsen and 2 in the women’s. I never had an issue getting a washing machine at night. The dryer was 100yen per 30min. The roof top area was great for sitting with friends while having a few drinks and a chat, there is a vending machine there also. The rooms we stayed in were only 15sqm but they are setup really well and seemed bigger. The hotel is in a great location for trains or waking to areas such as the imperial palace and fish markets just to name a few. Don’t let the construction next door put you off it didn’t affect us at all during our stay.
