The food is amazing, tasty and fresh. The service is good and the attention given during the whole stay is awesome. All the staff is kind. The facilities are good and the hotel is clean and neat.

The airport shuttle is not free as stated in the booking’s website. Also, the reception tried to charge us more for the ride once the service was confirmed. At the end, I ended up paying the initial agreed amount, but I didn’t like at all how people in Diani Beach tries to always charge us (the foreigners) more when asking for a ride

nice set up with the eco cabins, pool and beach didn't need to venture out of the hotel except on particular excursions. Staff is friendly overall nice experience

What a great find! The hotel was new, hip, modern, with incredible setting on the best beach, amazing terrace restaurant and pool/beach area. The property overall was creatively designed. Our room was large, beds were comfortable, barhroom was spacious, and everything was very very clean. The shower was hot and powerful. I especially liked floor-to-ceiling windows and a great little private terrace (too many mosquitos and monkeys though, do be careful). The hotel offers nice trips, gives excellent quality bikes, and has all amenities of a good boutique propery. Also, special thanks to Emily for making our stay as comfortable as possible - she came forward and went above and beyond when no other staff member was willing to help. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel—it truly is a gem! The hotel is wonderfully new and modern, and the attention to detail is exceptional (German like). They even provide thoughtful touches like mosquito spray. The furniture is all modern, and the bathrooms are brand new, snow-white towels and bedsheets. The style is both stylish and artistic, showing a true passion for design. The beach is stunning and expansive, making it a perfect spot. Evenings with a DJ playing. I absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a stylish and thoughtfully curated experience!

A piece of paradise - very nice little modern place to stay…I cannot fault a thing instead highly recommend;) The place itself is super nice and clean and modern concept with eco cabins…the view to the ocean…the access to the beach…the restaurant…better than we imagined…a place where You can really relax and rest…and as I did some research before booking a stay, I think that there is no such similar place on that strip of Diani beach….You can find big old hotels but this is rare….and especially have to point out that the real-real treasure in this hotel is the staff…The people working there make such a great value to the place…Me and my family staying there for 11days felt like being part of Lala Galu’s family somehow😊 Big hugs&kisses from Estonia!!!

Everything was awesome! I’ll definitely stay there again and also recommend the place to people! The staff were great from my check-in to my check-out. The hotel has very friendly staff and were able to consider all my needs and requests to the detail. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The rooms are sparkling clean. Beautifully positioned (cabins/pods), ample lighting, and well-designed for a quiet and peaceful getaway. The food was well made with love and quite delicious, compliments to their inhouse Chef. Overall, I had a great experience with Lalagalu; the staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a birthday weekend.

Would have been lovely to get a larger menu for the restaurant. Don't get me wrong, everything on the menu is amazing. It is just a shame we have a small sample menu with such a great Chef they have. One craves more. My only regret is I did not stay longer.

The location is perfect for those traveler's who want peace and tranquil. The food was so good! The chef is brilliant and always came to check on us and made sure we enjoyed our meals. The food options are great and trust me they don’t compromise on breakfast at all! It was my birthday weekend I was spoilt! The layout of container houses and the expansive view of the Indian Ocean was breath-taking!!! The beach was not crowded because the location of Lala Galu is a bit further out from the centre but by uber it takes 10-20 mins and the boutique hotel organises transport for you. The masseuse Irene really pampered me with one of the best massages I’ve had! The pool was the right temp considering the weather wasn’t the best. The rooms are cleaned daily and the bed was so comfy. I loved the African Tribal x Scandinavian touch to the room decor. The staff are so friendly in particular Furaha, she’s very sweet and kind. The owner and manager are very hands on and ensure you’re stay is up to your standards. They are super receptive of feedback which is important. Security is also great which is vital especially for solo travellers. I would recommend this property and I’ll definitely be back! For a one month old place the management is doing an awesome job! 🙌🏽 (not sponsored paid full price for my stay) ❤️

There are a few issues like some of the fittings aren’t intact but I already reported to the owner and he assured me that he will rectify them other than that everything else was great!

A true haven of peace! The hotel Lalagalu is simply perfect! This thanks to a staff both very discreet and very attentive. The entire team is extremely polite, very caring and all this with a sincere smile continuously. A big thank you to all for this very relaxing stay we needed on arrival! You met all our expectations and even more. I also tried the lemon scrub which was a real moment of relaxation and pleasure. The masseuse was very delicate and attentive to my well being. The reception team was always very responsive and helpful with everything we needed. Finally the Chief Johan is really gifted and all our meals were so so delicious !! The hotel itself is very original very well located, 50 meters from a beautiful beach. The pool is also nice, design and clean! The pool is also nice, design and clean! Sunbathing on top and very comfortable. The room is always super clean, design and very pretty. The decor is a subtle mix of wood, cement and local materials. Amazing stay, great staff! They do utmost for you and always with a real smile. The food was very very good. We switched accommodation and stayed in total 5 days in Diani, LalaGalu was our second location. I wish we knew earlier about this place. The best food in the area! We had the family accommodation, which was great. All brand new, good showers, well equipped kitchen, good matrasses. Property is clean. Pool area great, no bothering from beach boys. Easy access to the most white fluffy sandy beach I have ever seen. Absolutely stunning! Again staff is amazing and also the massages and facials, done by Irene is worth a booking!

WiFi in rooms was excellent, but missing signal in the dining/pool/beach area.

Some more seed bread will make me happy. Overall great breakfast.

Protect the open beach area a bit more and guide the tourists not to give the children begging stuff as it attracts them inside and who knows they can pick stuff or cause unnecessary commotion.
