Our second stay and we love the location. We were hear for family events at the Outrigger Canoe Club so the location was perfect for us. also close to other Waikiki attractions.

We were assigned rooms on floor 3 which also has the restaurant and so the noise level from people gathering at the elevator could be high at times. Also one of the 3. rooms we were assigned was at the corner of floor 3 and garbage trucks were load at various hours throughout the night. We have stayed on upper floors before and away from the corner so I would definitely suggest a high floor.

Booking.com showed me a different room on their page than I got in the Hotel. I had to pay additional money to get what I was supposed to get in the first place.

This hotel is in a great location and has an amazing staff. For the most part, it was great, but has a need for some improvements. The coffee shop was excellent, and the valet parking staff were super friendly and helpful! I would recommend it higher if they improved some things, or lowered the price.

The room door needs to seal better. Too much light and noise leaked in from the hallway through the bottom and the sides of the door. The bathroom needs a ventilation fan, and the tub drain was not installed properly (definitely not up to code). Bathroom sink cold water tap would continue only dispensing very warm water for a solid 20 seconds after using any hot water. Guests vaping in the hallways. Shelves take up too much space in closet, so there's not much space for hanging clothes. Need a simple combination of hanging rod, shelves and drawers, but in a way that makes the space more usable. Bed was too short, so my feet were hanging off, and I'm only 5'8" tall.

I love the location. It is close to many tourist sites and a block away from the beach. The restaurant’s food is great and they have a nice view of Diamond Head.

The parking is $50 per day and requires valet parking. I had to park across the street at the public parking lot and accessed my car whenever I wanted too. Some people may not like to cross the street every time they want to go out but I saved some money by parking there, plus I was out all day doing activities.

Amazing location overlooking the zoo with a beautiful view of Diamond Head and the water, just a couples minutes walk from the beach & volleyball courts! The hotel restaurant, The Deck, is a wonderful outdoor and covered place with very good food and specialty drinks. Also the coffee place in the lobby serves great coffee and lattes.

The room are pretty small and not very soundproof but they were very clean and the bathroom has been updated. It was nice to have some outdoor seating but it is right next to A/C units.

loved the location. close to beach, bars, stores. on site restaurant was great! rooms were clean and comfortable! offered chairs and towels for beach use! Parking at zoo was very convenient and affordable. Also loved that the picture shown for booking was exactly the same room we got upon arrival.

We got a premier ocean view king balcony room, which is on a corner of the building and, though the room wasn't large, multiple windows the full length of two sides of the room made it feel larger. Many of the rooms seem to be on a corner, the way the building is designed; if a room wasn't on a corner, I don't know if the amount of windows would seem sufficient. It was also nice to have a little window up in the bathroom for ventilation. Our room on the 17th floor looked out towards the ocean and up towards the back of buildings in Waikiki. Initially I was disappointed it didn't look towards Diamond Head until I realized we'd have been awoken with the sun rise. There were 2 layers of curtain coverings, so we could darken our room and we heard virtually no noise from the street. The sheets on the bed were very soft, the mattress was comfortable, and the room was made up nicely each day. The AC worked very well. There are plenty of nice places to sit in the lobby area. The hotel decoration was nice, and every employee we encountered was pleasant and helpful. There's a great view of Diamond Head from the pool/restaurant level. The location is right across from good swimming areas, just a block from The Bus, and near Tucker & Bevvy for good açaí bowl breakfasts.

Not crazy about paying a $40 resort fee (or $500 a night). The Dole whip freebie was the size of a thimble (no kidding) and the other amenities the resort fee covered would have been inclusive at most hotels, or we didn't want. Also, when they say "non refundable" on the reservation, believe it. Not even a life-threatening diagnosis will get them to refund. The balcony wasn't delightful to sit out on, but it did allow a place to be for even more view, and to test the outdoor air temperature, and was a good place to put wet things. I would have liked a regular chair in the room, but we brought in a plastic one from the balcony. Three elevators and 18 floors means sometimes you have to wait for a lift.

Noise 6-10 pm from Deck Restaurant immediately below our Diamond head/ocean view king suite. But, the mornings were beautiful and quiet. Close enough to Honolulu airport to arrive, drive to and collapse into bed, after long 10 hr flight.

Given the fact this was a "cheaper" hotel in Waikiki, I was pretty surprised at how full service this hotel was. Daily room cleaning, fully kitted out bar and cafe, amazing location and views etc. Staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. Even offering to move rooms during stay due to noise etc.

The only thing that was slightly negative was the noise. The walls are absolutely paper thin, doors have huge gaps around them allowing in light and noise, and the bar downstairs can get loud as it leads onto an uncovered patio so sound travels directly up in your window until 10/11PM. Definitely bring ear plugs.

Great hotel for a more reasonable price. Room was a decent size and we had decent views of the water and Diamond Head. Even into the zoo. The location is easy access to the beach and water front esplanade. Great coffee at the base of the building too.

The lifts were AWFUL. There are three and one was not in use the entire time. There was never an explanation or apology from staff. You had to wait up to 15 minutes for a lift at times! That’s not an exaggeration either, actually 15 minutes. We’re almost missed out airport transfer cause of the lift. They really need to sort it out. It really was the only thing but was bad enough to ruin the whole experience. The pool is a bit small for how big hotel is also.
