Staff was super friendly and accommodating as best they could be. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I also liked the double layered room darkening curtains. It was cozy.

The voucher for breakfast was a scam. There's no communication with the hotel and 3rd party apps (booking.com, priceline, etc) which only confuses the guest. The lack of communication is horrible. I was charged for a no show after I had already paid for 2 nights, my boyfriend was already there waiting but was unable to check in and due to emergency, I couldn't arrive until middle of the night. I was ridiculously charged because I kept in contact and everyone knew I was keeping my reservation. I received a voucher for breakfast which only covers $10 of it, not a free meal. The options were ridiculously over priced and not much of anything to choose from and the food was horrible anyway.

Quiet and clean.

I stayed at this location years ago when it was the Crowne Plaza hotel. Back then, the hotel was not with the current times, with outdated appliances and furniture. This current stay at the Sonesta was the opposite of that. The hotel has up to date everything, and the staff was very polite and seemingly genuine in the few interactions I had during my one night stay.

There was not too much to dislike in my one night's stay. The location is a busy area, so if one doesn't want to be caught in the hustle and bustle of downtown Philadelphia, this hotel would not be a good option.

The room was nice and quiet - I couldn't hear any noise from other rooms, the hallway, or the elevators so that was perfect. The location was perfect for all the things that I wanted to do. It's an easy train ride from the airport if you're not in a rush, plenty of food nearby, and a short walk to museums. There's a shuttle stop right outside for the marathon or an easy trot to the start line.

The room was missing hand soap but it was promptly delivered when I asked. There was candy on the floor of the room when I arrived. Besides that, everything was clean.

The property is within walking distance to the 30th St train station (Amtrak), Reading Terminal Market, and city hall. Location is extremely convenient. The front desk staff are very polite. My room did not come with a couch, which was advertised in the booking photos. When I inquired with the staff, they immediately changed my room to my preference. Great service. The hotel is quiet, and the rooms are clean and functioning. The valet service is convenient, and the staff are nice.

The beds are a little tough on the back. Bring your own pillow.

This was actually one of the better hotels in the area for a decent price. The location is pretty good for the night light. The staff I encountered was pretty pleasant people especially the night supervisor Miss Kim. When you think of customer service, your brand, and how you want customers to feel / represent your company. Miss Kim, I was very impressed how quickly she handled my situation for that reason I will highly recommend this hotel because that's just an example of the leadership that she's under customer satisfaction is number one at this hotel.Ms Kim is one of the best nice supervisors I have seen in a long time at these hotels cuz a lot of these nice supervisors have a nasty attitude cuz they don't want to be there but this woman was amazing I mean just amazing so thank you again.

The valley parking needs to be handled. That was one young lady that was very nice very helpful I'm not for sure of her name but I know she had on a pride bracelet ( LBGQT) NOT REALLY FOR SURE BUT I JUST WANTED TO GIVE HER SHOUT OUT BECAUSE THERE WAS A VALID GUY WHO REFUSED TO GO GET THE CAR SOME SITUATION AND WE WERE STANDING OUT THERE WAITING FOR 15 MINUTES AND HE WAS JUST SITTING THERE AND WHEN SHE WALKED UP SHE APOLOGIZED VERY APOLOGETIC ABOUT THE SITUATION EVEN THOUGH SHE WASN'T INVOLVED IN IT TOOK OUR TICKETS AND ONE THING AT THE CAR AND EVERYTHING SO A BIG SHOT OUT TO HER BIG SHOUT OUT TO HER I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT.

Location was good, very clean. Staff was very friendly parking was very convenient. The price is a little high for what we got.

My family was very pleased with our stay at the Sonesta. We loved the room and all the amenities that came with it. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accomodating. Lastly, the cleaning crew did an amazing job keeping our room nice and tidy.

The hotel rate was way too high, but understandale based on the event that was taking place in the city. The hotel cafe did not have enough options for a quick breakfast. The price to park overnight in the garage was also way too high.

Great location, heated mirror so the whole thing didn’t fog. Decent price when booking months in advance.

The TV was small and did not have many cable options. The pool closed around 8:00pm (to early). The staff were friendly but not very knowledgeable. The fire alarm was pulled in the middle of the night. No-one from the hotel came to give us updates on the situation. Guest had to inform each other on what to do. I was charged an extra $130 at check in (not including the $150 deposit )pre authorization charge and no one was able to tell me why.

Really enjoyable stay at the Sonesta for my first time in Philly. Great location, very close to Reading Terminal Market and all the main sites. The room was very spacious with a great view, hot shower and comfy bed. I would definitely stay here again. Staff were extremely helpful too. Room was cleaned every day to a high standard.

Overpriced due to Wrestlemania weekend. The cost of a bottle of water was $8 so I had to go to Trader Joes to get regular priced water. The credit provided for the bar doesn't cover alcohol either.
