Excellent location - handy to Green Square train station, Woolworths, restaurants and cafes. 24/7 reception area - unique G-wagon desk ;) Lovely modern rooms, clean facilities. Great products in the rooms - Nespresso pods, 'who gives a crap' tissues and toilet paper and lovely soap and hand cream products. Great having a cafe downstairs - pity it's not open at dinner time. Offered free late checkout due to arriving home late one night. Held our bags after check out. Nothing was a problem for reception staff. Overall - great stay - highly recommend.

Even tough is not in the city center we loved the location as it was really close to the train station, that offer you easily access to trains towards CBD and airport. The room was big and didn't miss anything. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel had a bar at the ground floor and a restaurant which were really useful. The bathroom was big as well and well equipped

The room was cleaned every 2 days which is really acceptable, but the cleaning was not done as expected. We had some empty bottles that were visible stored that were not taken. The garbage bins are a bit small. But overall this was not something that would make us feel uncomfortable.

The staffs were attentive, and helpful, everything went smoothly. The room was neat and tidy. The bathroom was big. It located in a peaceful neighborhood with nice restaurants nearby and the supermarket. It was very convenient just a few walk to the Green Square Station. The cafe was great with good food and coffee.

The garbage bin was too small. And the carpet was a bit dusty. It was unclear about the cleaning conditions. We were informed later that the room would be cleaned every two days. We don’t mind using the same towels for the stay if there’s a proper towel rack to use. And the coffee capsule should be refilled everyday.

The location was excellent. It was conveniently situated near the train station, a supermarket, and several nice cafes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The price was very affordable, and the room was perfectly suitable for a short stay

While the room was comfortable, there were a few minor issues. Although a coffee machine was provided, the cups were missing. The bedside table was too small and occupied by a large phone, leaving no space for personal items. Despite the spacious toilet, there was a lack of adequate storage. Limited hangers and no shelf space made it difficult to place toiletries. A small bench in the bathroom would have been very useful

Nice location right next to the green square station! Easy to reach by train or uber(less than 10 mins from the airport), saved us plenty of time in traveling. The beds were comfortable, having a double + a bunk bed fitted the need of a small family. Room is quiet, despite heavy door closing from neighbors were loud. I love their bathroom! They do have a long bench where you could spread your makeup stuffs to make it easier. Nespresso machine is a plus!

The cleaning stuffs did a fantastic job in cleaning the room every single day, but they never filled up the conditioner/body lotion/ hand wash bottle, even if I’d told the receptionist already

Great location. No food option but there is a cafe on the ground floor, and a pantry to buy snacks. I do not know if pets are allowed on the property, but they are equipped for elderly or disabled people as our room met accessibility needs. Very comfortable and equipped with plates and cutlery; the room also had an iron and ironing board, and a sponge for washing dishes! They also have some space to hold luggage in case you arrive before check-in or want to leave luggage after check-out.

The trolley they had for the toiletries and towels was nice, but could use some counter space.

Great location, a few minutes away from the station where you can catch a train to the city center. The staff is helpful and friendly. Great to see affordable laundry service in the hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Having a kitchenette is a great addition.

Even though you could request cleaning every day, it didn't look like the staff cleaned a room fully. I don't think the room was ever vacuumed and I actually had to explicitly request shampoo/conditioner to be refilled as the housekeeping staff didn't do it (in one case, the bottle was empty already when we checked in). Actually, after switching a room after 4 days (on our request and because of a new booking), we were happy to get it changed as this meant a fully cleaned up room.

We recently had our third stay at the Veriu Green Square, having first been there the week it opened in 2019. We chose the location for its proximity to an apartment we own and were visiting, but it’s so convenient for both the airport and the city centre that we’d consider it regardless. Two minutes walk to Green Square station and one stop to Central station, on the City Circle line to Circular Quay - why would we pay excessive city centre room rates? We stay in a suite so we have a kitchenette, as we like to make healthy breakfasts and occasional lunches, but there’s so much around Green Square and Alexandria now that it’s easy to eat out there. We also like that it’s close to a supermarket. On this extended stay we especially appreciated the laundry, and we used the small but adequate gym regularly.

It’s a shame that the restaurant that opened with the hotel is no longer there, and the one that is there now seemed to close down while we were there - not sure if that was a permanent thing or not.

Reception is very cute, late night check in staff girl was very friendly. Other staffs are all nice too, love it. Lobby smells nice, good first impression. Can buy soft drinks at Lobby. Coffee shop on the other side of lobby, have nice coffee. Room very cozy and clean. Bathroom has big mirror, tools all useful, clean as well. Very quiet at night. Have to use key card to access front door in the after hours and to access lift. Makes me feel safe. Also very close to airport, 20 minutes away from Sydney CBD if take Uber. Overall great place, will stay here again if visiting Sydney again.

One of the lamps next to the bunk bed was not work, but it didn't affect much. Not much food options if you're hungry at late night at surrounding areas. Can go to Maccas and a convenient store, 5 minutes away from the hotel. If want KFC and Taco Bell or others, it's at the same area, but better go early.
