Hotel Rialto is in the heart of Barcelona. You can easily walk to Barcelona Cathedral, La Boqueria market, Plaça de Catalunya, Picasso Museum, Moco Museum and all the attractions in the Gothic quarter. Metro stations; Liceu on one side, and Jaume I on the other side of the street, take 5 minutes to reach by foot. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom had everything I needed. A/C worked perfectly. Buffet breakfast had a variety of fresh food and drinks. Hotel offers luggage storage upon early arrival or late departure. There is always someone at the front desk. Hotel staff are amazing and always there to help. Very professional, always smiling and would go an extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Christina and Mamadou were the ones I interacted the most with, and I only have the words of praise for them.

The only downside for me was that there is no minibar in the room, to keep water bottles chilled during hot summer months.

Location good in terms of access to eating facilities, La Rambla, city sightseeing, port etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No problem in storing suitcases given early arrival. Staff arranged taxi when required - very obliging.

Excellent location, right between La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter. Clean and comfortable rooms. Would recommend.

we love the promity from La Rambla and the metro. Ferran street is located in the gothic district and near the Born district. Both are very typical and tasty as old «carrer » of Barcelona. All can be done easily by foot

well… as a mater of fact Carrer Ferran is a very used street where you will find people and animation far late in the night … or earlier in the morning. Then, having a room with a view on the street can be very noisy … and not so comfortable

Love the location- if you are looking for halal eats, there are many options around this area The room itself is great, clean and spacious as well. A/C works great too

The location is awesome. Very close to everything, but off the beaten path, so it's not loud. Hotel and room very clean. Breakfast was very nice. We didn't add this cost to our room charge which worked out good because we only ate there once. There are bakeries everywhere, so we grabbed a pastry and coffee most mornings. The staff was excellent and helped with directions and other info. I would definitely stay here again.

We thought the bed and pillows were very very firm and a little uncomfortable. But that is our only complaint.

The location of the hotel was ideal to access Las Ramblas, the Catedral and so many other core features of the town centre. It was so easy to get the Aerobus from the airport and walk just 10 minutes from Placa de Catalunya to get to the hotel. the room was clean and well equipped. the breakfast was extremely good and set us up for each day of our visit. I highly recommend this hotel and will come back when we return for our next visit to Barcelona.

The plug in the sink did not stop water escaping so we could not run a bowl of water. We did report this but it was not fixed whilst we were there.

The location was fantastic. Right in the gothic quarter and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping in La Rambla. The metro station is also just a 5 minute walk if you need to get to places further away. The hotel was very clean and offered everything we needed including AC in the rooms, which is something you don't always get at every hotel or BnB. The staff was super friendly, held our bags for us since we checked in early and we were able to enjoy the day in the city. They even arranged for a taxi to pick us up on our departure morning to get to the airport. I would recommend staying here and we would definitely stay again.

The Hotel was very easy to find and is a close walk to shops, cafes, restaurants, metro stations and the Zoo. The Hotel itself was very inviting and clean, with friendly staff and good facilities. The rooms where clean and they looked like they had been updated in the last few years - furniture and fittings where very practical, and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning was easy to control and nice to have in the hot nights. The bathroom and shower where also very nice, all finished to a good standard with a generous bathroom kit (toothbrush, soap, etc). I would certainly recommend the breakfast - everything you can think of, they had on offer - fruit, bread, meats, cheeses, cereal, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit juice - worth the extra. Breakfast was 7-10:30, so more than enough time for early and late mornings. Plus the breakfast area in the basement was huge, so even with lots of people in, there was always a table available.

It would have been nice to have to some bottled water in the room, or a kettle with coffee. If you wanted water, you had to get a bottle from the vending machine in reception. Also, even though I had enough room for my clothes in the wardrobe, some draws would have been useful.

I liked everything. The location of the hotel is very good - in the Gothic quarter. Close to metro stations, about 30 minutes walk to Barceloneta beach, 10-15 minutes to Plaça Catalunya, from which there is a bus to the airport, very close to La Rambla. The hotel is safe to stay with kids. The rooms are clean, with new furniture. Breakfast is inexpensive, hearty and very tasty.The staff is friendly and always happy to help.
