I loved it was located beside the sea and all walking distance to the heritage attractions. The staff there are amazing, they are really friendly and accommodating. They’re also very responsive over our requests. The breakfast buffet spread was good, so much to eat to start the day, loved it! Keep up the great job and good efforts!

I don’t blame the hotel as we went through Covid-19 these few years, certain facilities like the spa and the restaurant beside the spa is no longer available. I guess for now, the business is slowly picking up, so I hope they’ll do a good job upgrading it soon for a better experience! Other than that I loved my stay!

We arrived by ferry from Butterworth and were happy to walk from the terminal to this hotel. We loved our room. Spacious. Nice details, like a make-up alcove. Big shower. This is a classic hotel, great value. Near the harbor and the old fort.

Upset with the buffet breakfast. Supplies were just not well managed since 8am, refill coffee beans for coffee machines takes more than 15 mins whether decide to fill or not, and where I'm away to take my food, the service crew just forcing me to end my meal fast, said that many people coming for breakfast, while I was just started to finished my starter with salad, and been chased off. After 10mins only recommend me to sit in additional open table without on air con over there. IT WAS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Location is very good for visiting the Fort and easy walk to the ocean front and the ferry terminal. Breakfast offers a good variety of food, however, the quality of food could have been better.

We booked a deluxe room on a higher floor, room is spacious but the ventilation system does not work well, so the stuffy air smells in the room.

The beds are incredibly comfortable and it was fantastic having a pool long enough to swim in. The breakfast buffet is large but can get a bit crowded. Local choices such as Nasi Lemak and Roti Canai are better than the western offerings. There are loads of food choices nearby if you don't want to eat the hotel breakfast. It would be nice to have a drink by the pool but they don't even serve soft drinks (the whole hotel is alcohol free but even if they offered cocktails or cola that would have been nice).

We were surprised at how small our room was. We paid extra for a deluxe having stayed in a superior last time. The room this time was smaller with only 1 chair at the desk. In the superior room we had an armchair as well. There are no chairs on the balcony so it isn't really usable. We wouldn't bother paying for an upgraded room next time!

Really well situated hotel in the historic centre of Georgetown, an easy walk from the ferry terminal. Rooms clean and comfortable, pool is lovely and staff were great. Amazing buffet breakfast. If you need to pick up snacks or drinks there’s a 7-11 open 24/7 just outside. Easy walk to loads of great restaurants and the sights of Georgetown- the street art, temples, old houses, chow jetty etc.

One of the best hotels in George Town, no doubt. Rooms are spacious, nicely furnished, and with clean carpeted floors. Each room has a balcony that opens up in to the swimming pool. Breakfast buffet was excellent with lot of varieties to choose from. The dining area is so spacious to accommodate nearly a hundred guests at a time, so no need to wait even at peak hours. Property’s location is another plus. In the historic area, near many tourist attractions and jetty. The ferry station is just at five minutes walk. For 2 ringgits you can go to Butterworth from where you can get into the metro. I went to Alor Setar snd came back in a couple of hours. Staff were very courteous. Room service and housekeeping were excellent. To sum up , this is the best hotel to consider when you plan to visit Penang.

Was perfect on Day 1 in terms of the room, comfort, breakfast room, service and convenience of the location. However once the breakfast room was relocated due to capacity issues, these advantages started to disappear.

However once the breakfast room was relocated due to capacity issues as we got nearer to Christmas, the breakfast quality, store-room like space and service issues started to surface over the subsequent days prior to check-out. Room cleaning was also sub-standard in the last couple of days, and supply of pool towels fell badly short on the 2 days I chose to use the pool during the mid-afternoon.

Our room (with triple beds) was spacious! I travelled with 2 parents so it suited the three of us perfectly. We even had a nice balcony. The toilet was clean and had a pretty design. The hot water was nice. The entire hotel was very cozy and comfortable. I used the gym twice. It was quite well-equipped for a hotel gym. The hotel breakfast area has a nice ambience and a wide variety of food. I would like to specially mention the breakfast staff, Jeff, who was very attentive to my needs.

The only thing which I would pick on is that I wasn't able to check in early when I arrived at 2pm. It isn't the hotel's fault! But I also want to show how good this hotel is that I only have this minor thing to mention.
