Though a bit dated in decor, it still has great value for money. Staff greeted me by name as soon as I walked through the doors on my informed check-in time; how personable! Bed was firm and so good to sleep in, and I had a nice, albeit tiny, view of the ocean from my room. Room was spacious and comfy. Location was excellent; you're only a few steps away from Gaya Street market and a 10-minute walk from Suria Sabah mall and the Jesselton point. There's a restaurant just next to the hotel, but the location is great for other nice eateries! There's also a money changer kiosk within the hotel.

These are non-issues but may be useful to other potential guests: The hot water in the shower wasn't consistent and there's lack of comfortable space to sit in the lobby.

Great hospitality! The staff greeted me even before I stepped into the hotel, all staffs were friendly and warm. Truly Malaysian Hospitality Large room size with solid furniture, and the rooms were adorned with pictures from the wonderful history of KK, quite elegant for a business hotel. Sustainable practices, usage of 2 large refillable glass water bottle with a working fridge is rare nowadays. And location of the hotel being surrounded by the popular Gaya market and kopitiams.

Well, nothing much to say just need some improvement on the pillows used. A bit thin to sleep on after a long journey. The lobby could uses some sprucing up.

The hotel looks new and modern, and is clean and spacious. Located at famous Gaya Street with many eateries opposite the street and round the corner especially those serving breakfast and bakuteh (pork ribs). Tourist information centre is just across the street--get your maps and all the info you need. Money changer right inside hotel. 5 mins walk to Suria Mall and smaller shopping centres all around. For all that it offers, this hotel is value for money.

A number of inconveniences: (1) Card key is easily corrupted and must be reset at the counter. (2) Wifi disconnects frequently and must be reconnected. (3) Housecleaning forgot to provide face towels. (4) Some counter staff are unfriendly (important to smile and be courteous). It would have been an exceptional hotel equivalent to five star hotel if the above details are noted and corrected.

Hotel Sixty3 seems fine in every respect.

Our room was clean and comfortable and it was very handy having a lift for all our luggage. The shower was excellent. The location is perfect with plenty of shops and restaurants very close to the hotel. The staff were lovely and really helpful with any questions we had. They also stored our bag for a week for free which was amazing. Thank you Hotel Sixty 3!

We stayed on two occasions. The first time our room had a slightly unpleasant smell but the second room was absolutely fine. The WiFi in the first room was a bit patchy.

I had a wonderful stay at Sixty3. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the prime location right in the city center. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The only minor issue was a slight hair cream smell on the pillowcase, and the water pot is plastic. The plastic smell was very strong after boiled water. Anyway, this hotel considered very clean and I'm very satisfied.

We got free upgrade by the management. That was superb. Recommended to stay because it was just a walking distance to Gaya Sunday Market, Suria Shopping Mall and a lot of restaurant nearby.

The aircond in the room we were staying was not cold even on 16° but I don't mind because only stay for 1 night but maybe the management could look into it for the next guest to stay to avoid any complaint.

I enjoyed the spacious hotel room that included a generous bathroom and a separated toilet. Housekeeping was thorough, regularly changing our towels and providing plenty of clean filtered drinking water.

There was a constant droning sound coming through the walls of the hotel room but it stopped during the night, so we were able to get good rest.

the hotel was very well maintained, the room was very large, it was super clean, had a mini fridge, the furnishings were nice, so many of the cheaper hotels are finished off roughly, this was not, the staff were fantastic. always saying hello or acknowledging you, I felt really comfortable, they do not provide breakfast at the hotel, but there are so many places to eat around, and that is why it’s a bit cheaper, they also provide water in glass bottles to reduce waste, yay! would recommend it.

Excellent hotel with distinct history and character in a perfect location on Jalan Gaya in the heart of the old town. Simple elegant decor is old style and reflects the almost 60 year history of this independent hotel. Exceptionally helpful and genuinely friendly staff are a real asset. No requests were too much trouble. Rooms spacious and clean. Great place to actually be in Sabah, rather than in another global corporate hotel chain. Very close walking distance to innumerable small family restaurants and shopping, and opposite the Sabah Tourism Headquarters.
