The place was amazing. There is always someone around, Very friendly staff and always there to help. The rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable. We had some trouble with cockroaches when we arrived, we asked for help to get rid of them. They took action right away and we didn't see any of them in the room again. Very nice!

The shower was cold/not very warm, but no need to have super hot water with these temperatures. Also the shower didn't give a lot of water, so to wash long hair, took a while to rince it out...

My room was great. It had a window. Room and bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable. It is about 10mins walk from the ADO station and 2-4mins walk from buses going to beach. It is situated close to eating places. The air conditioner worked perfectly. I checked in at around 9pm and checked out around 5 30am without any issue. I could keep my bag till late evening. I felt safe in the area. The key has a tag with which you can open the front gate. They even give insect repellant cream for night. For 600-700 pesos per night, it is a good deal. The staff is nice.

The internet is a bit patchy. It connects sometimes and sometimes it does not. Not a negative but the staff spoke little to no english (it was okay for me as I used google translate)

I was in a deluxe room with a double bed, refrigerator and microwave (although you don't really need those things because outside in the hallway they also have them for use). The room was spotless, VERY clean! The staff is very helpful, just ask. Luis, the owner, works there during the day and speaks excellent English. The location is just a block from Nomads Hostel and just 3 blocks from ADO bus station, Highway 307 with a bank, pharmacies, large supermarket, and anything you might need. There's a coffee shop with expresso just 2 blocks away, and also a very decent restaurant just 1/2 block away, both which open around 9:00 a.m. La Casa de los Alcatraces is located across the street from Parque Folklorico, and a block from Parque Palapas. The place was quiet, except two nights there was a big fair for Lent happening at Parque Palapas and I had to wear ear plugs to drown out the music.

It's safe to walk around the area during the day but at night it is sketchy. It's a 200 peso charge to take a taxi to and from the Isla Mujeres ferry terminal. (By the way, if you are coming back from Isla Mujeres, do not catch a taxi inside the terminal because they charge you TWICE as much!)

My room #8 had a powerful air conditioner plus a ceiling fan. It was clean; the shower worked well, with hot water. There is a wardrobe and a desk and chair. Plenty of electrical outlets. They give one towel with soap, shampoo, etc. but you can ask Carmen, the cleaning lady, for more if needed. There is a large TV and the internet was good (just dropped a couple times but came back immediately). There is an outdoor patio where you can sit. The location is also good. There's a wonderful coffee shop that opens at 8:30 a.m. just 2 blocks away, near Parque Palapas. You can also walk to a busy street just a block away that has everything, including a bank with ATM, drug store, large supermarket, and the ADO bus station is also just a 10 minute walk.

The desk clerks are not helpful. I'm not sure if they speak English (I always spoke Spanish with them). Also, beware of the night clerk. I had paid for a deluxe room but I think he only gave me a standard room. Still, it was a nice room, except the window only looked out to the hallway, not outside. Also, they do not provide potable water. They have a coffee pot in the hallway but coffee is not provided.

Location is very central, yet on the quiet street, very close to the center of the downtown. Just a 10 min walk from the Ado bus station. A few min walk to the bus station where you can take a bus to go to the Zona Hotelera. There is a mini kitchen inside of the room and air con worked great. Very good internet connection, speedy and stable. Very friendly host and they stay at the hotel reception 24 hours. Very big TV screen with a good choice of channels. Great cleaning service.

The room was quite small. There is no balcony and the window is facing the hall, however the hotel was half empty during my stay and it was very quiet inside the hotel. Not possible to dry your clothes anywhere as there is no balcony. The walls are not so soundproof, the loud music from nearby party hostel was heard during late evening, sometimes till late time at night.

the room was beautiful and cleaned well. the location is very close to bus station so I have nothing to worry about leaving to the airport quite early morning. You can find any kind of restaurants and bars around hotel also there was outside food court at the park which is walking distance from the hotel. I had enjoy a lot for local life as well. The stuff was nice and kind anytime. you can see him around front desk all the time.

the aisle was dark on my floor…

Clean, well-located, good wifi, comfy bed with 2 pillows each & no noise from the street, nicely decorated, kind hosts, even bathroom articles are included :), there are enough electric sockets & bedlights :) (we missed those throughout our whole trip through Mexico)

water in the shower was not hot, but that was the case in most hotels in mexico

1. The location is good. There are many restaurants (Los Alcanraces is my favorite) and shops (Chedraui, OXXO). You can take a bus and get to Zona Hotelera or go for a walk to the nearest beach. 2. Internet is strong. It’s very important for a lot of people. Before arriving I read reviews and didn’t see a lot of bad ones despite of many others hotels. I can approve that Wi-Fi is really good. 3. Cleaning. You should ask to have your room cleaned. As for me it’s an advantage. I don’t like to be disturbed, so I just asked for cleaning when needed. 4. Staff. Luis, an owner, works at daytime. He speaks English excellent. It could be important for people who don’t speak Spanish like me. If you have some questions or need help you can always ask him. He is very kind, helpful guy with a great sense of humour.

I spent around 3 weeks in a hotel, and there were not hot water just once. I told Luis, and a problem was fixed.

Good hotel if you just want to spend a night before a flight or something. Close to the ado bus station. The main square is around the corner with a little market and some things to do and eat. Our room had a really nice television on which we could watch Netflix.

A lot of noises from the other rooms and outside from the party hostel until late.

A/C in bedroom was cold, bed was comfy, free wifi, felt very safe, and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed the location too as it was close to the market/restaurants/bus stops. If you're trying to do Cancun on a budget, I recommend this cute hotel!

Room was smaller than expected and was very hard to turn on the shower water, also wouldn't stop dripping even when off.
