The location of the Hotel was great. Just beside Coco Bongo and has a nice white sand beach at the back. Beach can be accessed from the Hotel. Nearby it has multiple souvenir stores, convinience stores, bars and restaurants. The awesome part of this Hotel is the sea facing Patio ( if you chose ocean front rooms). One may spend whole night sitting at the patio with couple of beers and enjoying the sea. 😊

The Hotel doesn't have a restaurant. If someone wants to order from room, that option is not there. Shower Gel and Shampoo and drinking water bottles should be provided by the owners.

100% value for the view, proximity to the beach, clubs, grocery store, local bus stop, taxis.... The condo is old but somewhat updated. Lots of seating and a good fridge. Great a/c. The balcony view is unbeatable. The staff were nice and helpful. Coco Bongo beach party is loud from noon to night but the door closes out much of the noise. If you want a quiet balcony this is not the place for you, as the beach is busy all day and even late into the night. Security is good and the condo felt safe, as did the streets and beach.

The balcony furniture was badly stained, and the kitchen had no forks, few glasses, and one cooking utensil. The pillows were not comfortable but the bed was good. The one working elevator was very slow. The online reservation process is confusing.

The beach access was great. Close proximity to a number of restaurants and activities. Wonderful ocean view from the balcony.

The beach access closes at 6pm. I think 8pm would be a better time frame because it is not dark at 6 and people want to enjoy the beach later in the day. They do have cockroaches. Not a lot but definitely check your bags before you leave. The deck furniture was rust stained from the extremely old ac unit on the deck. The furniture should be reapolstered or replaced.

The location is excellent; nearby, you can find a variety of cuisines to suit your taste and numerous entertainment venues to enjoy. The beautiful beach 🏖️ is complemented by robust security measures. The attentive staff seemed to understand our needs, perhaps knowing we were recovering from a serious illness, and provided us with a quiet room on the second floor, by the sea and near the pool. We are truly grateful for their thoughtful arrangement. In short, everything here makes this place unforgettable. We love it here!

The balcony over the beach is great. The room is spacious and clean.

Host is not present, only by messaging. Apartments are too close to Coco Bongo, it's very noisy day and night. Bathroom is small (but did the job). TV channels are not interesting, zero sports channels. No complentary bottle of water. All in all is a bit pricy just for a room - no airport shutlle and no breakfast included,

Great beach, pool, and restaurant, shuttle service was great!

The first night was a party at a neighboring business and the wind was blowing the music into our rooms blasting until 130 am and fireworks were being lit on the beach. We got no sleep and it was tough with a baby after traveling all day. That was a Friday night, the rest of the nights were better for sleep. The beds were very firm but ok. The views spectacular and the service was great too!

A non all-inclusive hotels with direct beachfront access from the property. The view of the ocean from the balcony and being able to hang out from the balcony with the doors wide open felt amazing. Convenient location if you're looking to stay close to the center of hotel zone, walking distance to coco bongo, night clubs, and many restaurants. 7-11 right next door which is also very convenient.

Coco bongo beach party is right next door as well so it can get loud even with the doors closed especially during the weekend. Personally didn't mind too much since I was on a higher floor and the outside is quiet by 8 pm during the weekdays.

The ocean-view rooms have a wonderful view of the ocean with private balcony. The hotel/condo beach is very nice which opens to all the other beaches along the coast. You can walk for miles in the sand. The hotel has no beach chairs or shade umbrellas. The location is great within walking distance to shopping, great restaurants with excellent fresh seafood, and other attractions such as the ferry to Isla Mujeras. The pool is located on the bay side of the hotel, not next to the ocean. There is a bar and restaurant next to the pool, but we never ate there - too many other options. Also be aware that these are privately owned condos available for rent, so the furnishings, appointments, design, and amenities differ from room to room (see photos.)

The biggest down-side for us is the fact that next door to the hotel is an open-air beach/party club that plays LOUD music beginning in the afternoon and lasting till dark, even later on the weekends. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will be disappointed with the Salvia. It's not their fault, just be aware that the music from the club nextdoor is intrusive.

Location is perfect! We got the ocean view condo and it was spectacular ✨️ 👌 😍 you get a picture perfect view of the Hotel Zone and the whole azure blue ocean. The music from Coco Bongo next door isn't as loud as I thought it would be, and even so the parties end at around 9pm, so all you hear is the gentle white noise of the waves on the shore. The balcony door also seemed to be soundproof, so on the 1 or 2 nights we did have to sleep early, it still provided a comfortable environment that didn't impede our slumber. It's a gated establishment with 24/7 security in charge of the gate. Their safety method ensures knowledge of who is staying at Salvia and who isn't, and they have their own measures for the latter as well. So you and your rental are 100% safe. Housekeeping is every other day during your stay, which helped a lot due to trash buildup from all the delicious drinks and snacks we bought. And fresh towels too! Also, the front desk offers fresh hot beach towels with a voucher you get at check-in to use on the beach which is directly accessible from the back of the building. Staff is very friendly and informative. They kept in contact with me prior to my flight and were very patient while i settled some last-minute banking. They helped make our stay (7 nights) absolutely comfortable. 10/10 experience, I would absolutely book here again (and for the bombshell price that no other hotel in the Hotel Zone could beat) 💜

It's not a deal-breaker as I am from the US and this isn't our custom, but I had reservations about sending the staff a picture of my ID which they needed in order to process our payment prior to our arrival. This is apparently a common practice when booking a stay in Mexico, or so I was told. Please don't let this scare or deter you from booking with Salvia. They are very professional and value your privacy (they get in touch with you though WhatsApp, which takes its own precautions with the help of encryption so the info within the convo is kept safe)
