I can't say enough about my stay at Irie. It far exceeded my expectations! From my beautiful penthouse apartment, to the 5 star cuisine, to the all of the upscale amenities, and to the kind, attentive staff - if I could give 10 stars I would. My penthouse apartment was fully stocked with all of the necessities. It was luxurious and clean with an authentic Tulum vibe. I stayed on the jungle side of the hotel and had views for days of the beautiful lush canopy. My apartment had a breathtaking rooftop terrace with an infinity pool that made you feel like you were relaxing right in the midst of the Tulum jungle - absolutely incredible. I was able to order food from the on site restaurant that offers tons of vegan options. The food was to die for. I found myself eating almost every meal there because it was like eating at a 5 star restaurant. The food was always beautifully plated and the menu had such diverse offerings. Bon appetite! The amenities had me never wanting to leave! The beautiful pool located right in the middle of the hotel property was so relaxing and chill. Talk about feeling like you're on vacation! The gym is a full service gym with every piece of equipment that you could possibly need. Professional weight lifters would die for this gym. But the most spectacular amenity in my opinion was the EPIC yoga studio on the top floor. I am a yoga studio owner myself and I was blown away by the size of this studio and the tranquil, peaceful vibe it gave while practicing there. I can't wait to organize a yoga retreat and come back to Irie. The yoga studio bamboo window panels fully open up to the jungle canopy so you can feel the breeze in your hair and the sounds of nature while meditating or practicing with movement. It was absolutely magical! I am not one to write a review unless I am 100% called to do so, and this vacation blew me away. The staff was amazing and so kind and helpful. I absolutely LOVED my time at Irie!

I loved everything!

The hotel is brand new and very smart. Pool got the sun from 10 to 5 and centrally located in the middle of the hotel away from any noise. Bikes are available to get to the beach and to the main drag for bars. Very sandy beach with warm sea within walking distance from the hotel. Stayed for two weeks and very happy with the staff especially. They could not have been more helpful.

Obviously the hotel is not on the beach and never said it was. If it had been closer it would have been perfect. Distance didn’t stop me going most days. There is some seaweed that is plaguing a lot of the Carribean/East Coast Mexico at the moment. Did not stop me swimming.

I loved everything about this property from the hospitality to the amenities! Everything was brand spanking new! Five star room! The finishes were so Luxurious I couldn’t believe this was our room! The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us! They gave us all the local tips and answered to our every need. reading the negative reviews honestly shouldn’t be here at all. This is a new building and with that there will be small issues that someone can nitpick but looking at what these people are doing is truly amazing. The owner is always on the grounds making sure everything is up kept. He is super friendly and down to earth willing to do anything for his guests. The restaurant is also excellent! food was so flavorful and beautifully plated. Trust me when I tell you! You’ll be in paradise here and it’s only a mile away from the beach. Pro tip rent a ATV! You’ll be at your place in a heart beat. The cleaning guys are always all hands on deck also so don’t worry about cleaning it’s 100% clean!

The location is quite remote in the middle of a bigger construction site, just like the rest of Tulum. So not necessarily this hotel but just would not recommend Tulum in general, unless staying at a luxury resort with private beach access and away from all the crazy constructions. Would be nice to have a safe

This boutique hotel has the most charming vibe. Every room is centered around the beautiful pool, great music always playing and a staff that becomes like family. The rooms are very spacious and modern, stocked with all the amenities. I loved everything about this hotel.

There is nothing I can say that I "disliked" about this hotel. The only minor drawback was that we had to take a lot of taxi's. And multiple taxi rides add up quick. Although the beach is relatively close, it's not walkable. You are in the extreme part of the jungle. I suspect as Tulum develops more this will not be a problem. This area is growing like crazy.

We only stayed one night here unfortunately; it was in one word FANTASTIC. We all enjoyed it. First of all the service when we arrived. We arrived one hour before official check-in and we already could enter the villa. When we entered the villa, there was a personalized welcome message/letter on the table, really nice. The villa was very luxury, we had 5 bedrooms with each a bathroom, with very comfortable beds, towels, shower supplies, etc. The living and kitchen was very cosy and we could prepare our dinner and breakfast. We could use the pool all times and the pool area was very nice to relax and sit. The property also has a gym. On the day of departure, we could stay in the villa until 13:30, few hours after official check-out. Until then we could use the villa, pool, gym. Because of that we could make the max out of our short visit in Tulum. Thank you very much Irie Tulum Boutique Hotel; we had a blast in your property and we recommend this place to everyone staying in Tulum!

A suggestion would be to add some more kitchen tools to the kitchen; e.g. kitchen towels, toaster, etc. Also would be good to have some extra chairs at the table so everyone can sit.

The breakfast was really good and complete, the menu is very interesting we tried a couple of things and was delicious like the tamales , the salad and the omelette. The staff are lovely , they helped us in all our requirements, the rooms are so spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful itself with a good location, we regret could not stay more than one night. But surely we will Come back to visit you again

Everything was perfect !

I was very impressed by Irie Tulum Boutique Hotel. We were a family of 5 that stayed in one of the 3 bedroom penthouse suites. The staff were very friendly, the room was beautiful and they had everything we needed for our stay.

The rooftop plunge pool has a makeshift privacy screen that should be replaced with some sort of safety railing. It is very dangerous and unsafe, having that side of the building open where someone could easily fall over from the 30 foot deck if they climbed into the pool from the bench instead of the stairs.

Extremely clean, peaceful and pretty room with a personal veranda overlooking the courtyard, very comfortable bed, very attentive and friendly staff especially a particular front desk manager by the name of Victor. He went out of his way each day to attend to any questions and needs and was very caring and helpful. The Hotel also had quite an impressive gym with quite a large variety of equipment, although none of the machines weights were labelled with how many kg they were but very clean otherwise.

The downside to the Hotel was that they only offered food service until 4pm and no after hour room services, an ice bucket for the room or a mini fridge. The main downside to the Hotel was that due to it being away from the city centre, beaches, restaurants etc. the Taxi’s in Tulum charge extremely outrageous amounts of money to travel anywhere even if you only wish to travel short distances and are very unfriendly and quite arrogant.
