Una Vida was the perfect spot for our stay at Tulum, the staff was AMAZING the reception/concierge team made our stay delightful, they were always available, provided incredible recommendations and helped us with reservations, they definitely had a huge influence on making our trip very unique. Hotel has a very nice relaxed tropical vibe, very nicely decorated and this is true throughout the entire property. Our room was very spacious with two separate areas, bedroom+bathroom and second bedroom/living room that ensured a comfortable stay for the entire family. Nice private outdoor/patio area was a plus with hammocks and chairs. Outdoor shower and bathtub were a nice surprise. Swimming pool has a nice ambiance, with loads of vegetation surrounding it and comfortable lounging area, quiet and peaceful. Property is conveniently located at a quiet street, close to Tulum center where you can find many nice restaurants and it is only a 10-15min drive from the local beaches.

Super beautiful facilities! The stuff is very friendly. We really found this was a nice oasis for our stay in Tulum.

- I think they should reduce prices for food and beverages o that people would actually order stuff. - We booked the cheapest room category and it was fairly small and had no fridge or cafe Maschine.

Sam and Niko omg they were the absolute best! They need a raise. The property was calm, spiritual. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They had cleaning service everyday. Asked if you needed anything. The food was great. I like that you could spend time at their sister villa;hotel bardo.

The mosquitoes, omg they were the worse. I also have to admit even tho I don’t want to, the bed was rock hard. I didn’t get any good sleep. Sam did ask at the end of my stay how was everything, and I mention this to him , he asked why didn’t I say anything, he would had gotten me a new room!!! So I guess that was my fault. And of course the mosquitos… that’s nature , you can’t handle that. Food was also a little pricey at the hotel.

We had the most wonderful stay for our long overdue honeymoon. Everything was wonderful, they really made us feel special. A big shout out to Shio the experience manager who made our stay so special. She organised a fantastic trip to Punta Allen with the wonderful tour guide Lalo, an experience we’ll never forget. She also recommended an amazing restaurant for our last night in Tulum, which was some of the best food I’ve ever had. A shout out to Manu & Santos, two lovely waiters who really went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome. If you want a small piece of paradise in Tulum look no further. We were also about to use the facilities at their sister hotel Bado which was equally as fantastic. 10/10

Nada

It is a beautiful place and the staff are incredibly helpful. It’s in a good location, only 10 minute walk from the main restaurant area. The food is also excellent. We also made use of the spa when the weather wasn’t so good, which was a great addition. To top it all off, we were celebrating two big birthdays and the staff went above and beyond to make it special.

We booked the one bedroom suite and found it odd that we had to go outside to go into the lounge area. As a result, we didn’t really use it. In addition, the bed in the room wasn’t particularly comfortable.

This hotel is so beautiful with its oasis on the edge of Tulum town. The perfect retreat after a hot day sightseeing. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. There is the added bonus of the next door connecting hotel with additional options of a second pool and restaurant/bar etc.

Difficult to tear yourself away!

Near enough to the center of the city. Walkable distance but the heat was unbearable. They had a pool, a restaurant, and the rooms had AC. The rooms were large and they had kitchen appliances to cook and make your own food to save some money. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and gave us tips about places to go and how to get there. When there was a problem they fixed it right away.

Very expensive services but the quality is very good.

The reception staff are exceptional!! The whole hotel gives an incredibly relaxed feel and the pool is a lovely temperature. We got the best recommendations for restaurants and had the best sleep in this hotel. Food and drink at the hotel are good and it’s easy to walk to town but you’ll have to get taxis at night! Fab local food cart place next door!

It would be good to have a tea/coffee facility and a fridge.

Una Vida Mexico was an excellent stay! The room was stylish, and the hotel had a wonderful atmosphere that I truly enjoyed. The best part was personal how friendly they were and incredibly helpful ( receptionist) . An amazing stay, and I will definitely book here again in the future!

The only downside was the noise from the gravel and the room cleaning, which wasn’t ideal for someone who likes to sleep in

Very beautiful garden, Instagramable pools, lobby, room lounge..... full of flowers, candles, rustic or spiritual decos Staff cleaning the area every morning. Very very beautiful. They offer a lot of activities in the properties. Free yoga classes in the morning, serious yoga class not just relaxing and stretching. They also have temazcal (for a fee), sound medicine with a very beautiful setup.

The hotel is not far from a main road and our room is at the edge of the hotel, so we could hear loud traffic. We were on the first floor, when people were going up and down, there was quite a noise. Next time I will try the villa which is more inside the properties and more excluded. A lot of mosquitoes, some of other hotels do a better job of mosquitoe control with the help of herb smoke. I complained to the staff and they gave an incense on the next night. They could provide this to every room which matches their property theme. Breakfast could have more options and quality. It was the slightest and simplest breakfast among all the hotels we stayed in Mexico. I was still hungry after breakfast....
