When you enter the hotel, we loved the nice smell. The room is really big and we had also a small fridge, cutlery, sink, microwave, kettle, complimentary water and a coffee starter set. The bed is quite big and very comfortable as well as the pillows. Once we met the cleaning lady who was extremely sweet, nice and careful. They cleaned our room daily. The wifi is with a good speed. The pool is small but nice to enjoy around on a warm day. We could also leave our luggage for a couple of hours before we leave Merida.

When you open the door for the bathroom, there is not much space. I thought the location is a bit more central and less confusing to find but in general it is pretty good. The furniture can be updated a bit. The fitness didn't have that many machines, sadly. Due to construction work, the parking wasn't accessible so they had to drive our car to it but at least there was available parking.

Everything! The Staff is a Team of Angels. And I loved my room. The location is at the center of everything. You'll find yourself booking additional nights and wanting to stay longer. I needed to book a stay very quickly due to a previous booking (a house with a pool near the Continental car-maintenance shop) which was not only a scam, but a non-refundable booking. This Hotel was a Godsend and the best pick. Hotel Gamma had a beautiful, comfortable room available for me that didn't have loud people or couples deep in Marvin Gaye moments. The hot water never wavered and I slept very well. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!

Only one thing: Sulfur smell in the mornings, but it goes away by noon. That's all.

Great service. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Buffet breakfast is not included but available with a wide variety of food, from heavy stews to fruits and pastries. Room cleaning happened every day and it was spotless, they even arranged our shoes nicely. Pool is rather small but perfect, towels were provided at receptions. Location is great, close to few squares and surrounded by restaurants, boutiques and cafes.

I had stayed at a similarly rated hotel the days before this and there was a huge difference between that hotel and Gamma-which was more modern, updated, clean and had better daily services. There was a paid laundry on the site which was really helpful since I had been traveling for a few weeks by that point. Though expect that the price you pay will be different than the one you anticipate. Daily cleaning services, and the room was small but had everything I needed and for the price was modernized in a way that gave me everything I needed/expected. Staff was super great and the place in general exceeded expectations after a few disappointing stays at other places. Also the location is great and walkable to everything.

Great location, very close to many attractions in the Center of Merida. The bellboys are very helpful and proactive.

The AC is very noisy. It is old equipment, hard to control the temperature. The staff at the reception are not very helpful or accommodating. On the other side the bell boys were great.

The hotel has good location and nice facilities. Overall is great value for your money. Beds are comfortable, shower works perfectly, and breakfast is great and affordable.

It does look a bit old and needs some maintenance. The laundry service is overpriced.

I didn’t eat there, but the location was perfect and the staff was very friendly and very helpful. I didn’t have a fridge in my room and asked for one and the staff had one in my room within the hour.

Hotel building, room, bathroom, AC, safe — everything was updated, clean, spacious, comfortable, and in good working condition. It was also very quiet, and allowed us very restful nights of sleep. Location — close to all the main areas and safe. Wifi — not the strongest but worked well enough. Parking — secure and right beside the hotel lobby. Value — very good value for money.

The location is perfect. The staff is extremely friendly.

They need to improve the internet reliability for us who needs to works from wherever. Also they need to put more electrical charges (laptop, ipad, iphone, battery, iwatch, etc...). Also, I use a slim pillow and the ones they have are too big for me.

Great location in the centre of town, only 15 minutes walk from the ADO bus station as well. Rooms a good size and swimming pool was great for cooling off from the Yucatan heat. Reception staff ordered us a taxi for our early flight which was greatly appreciated.

Rooms a bit dated, though didn’t bother us. Standard large hotel so no homely feel (again didn’t bother us).
