The staff and hotel groundskeepers were professional. The pool was well maintained and a pleasure to use

The room, at least room #7 was 2 star. We could give it a 3, considering it had an iron and a hair dryer. Water stains on ceiling, the bedside light had two different voltage bulbs. The bed sheets were industrial grade cotton like what you would find on a tablecloth. Door handle coming off on the inside. The towel rack and toilet paper rack were coming off the wall in the bathroom. The air conditioning unit was difficult to control and blew damp musty air. The chair had a burn from an iron being placed on it. Also the price I was quoted on booking.com and what the hotel charged were not the same.

A very lovely and quaint inn, well decorated, with a pool and in a very good location to the historic center of the town. Breakfast was good and to order.

There was confusion about my booking.com reservation at first, and they confused me with another guest and said the rate was much higher, and could not at first find my reservation. Eventually, they did and correctly honored my reservation price. Then, at breakfast, I was asked to pay although my rate included breakfast. That, too, they eventually resolved. The were very nice about the whole mixup. They have only valet parking, which is a slight inconvenience.

Very nice colonial hotel just 2 blocks from the Gran Plaza. Despite being right in the Centro, it was absolutely quiet!!!! The staff was very helpful, especially Alex the bellhop. He carried our heavy suitcases right up the stairs, was always available when we needed something. When my husband had a medical situation, he went to the pharmacy and got the medication he needed, way above and beyond! Beds were great, breakfast was great. The pool was a nice size.

An elevator would be great! Also, a station to refill water bottles would be nice, to save needing to buy plastic water bottles. The hot water was only lukewarm. Nothing that would prevent us staying here another time.

Our junior suite was beautiful and spacious. Our breakfasts were excellent. The staff was very gracious, friendly, and helpful.

It takes some patience to operate the shower. The hot water takes a while. The suite was between the second and third floors. There is no elevator. The dinners were average.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Boutique La Mision De Fray Diego. The staff were very kind and attentive. Our room was exceptionally clean. The hotel.ia just minutes walk from Mérida's main square and close to lots of restaurants, shops, etc. Our booking included breakfast which was great every morning. The pool area is lovely and overall the hotel is beautiful, welcoming and safe. We will definitely be staying here again in our next visit to Mérida!

We loved staying here. The location is central and it's easy to get to places. The accommodations are clean, well appointed and the housekeeping is excellent. It's a beautiful mission and very peaceful and relaxing, right in the heart of the city. We felt safe and the staff was friendly and caring. Breakfast was more than we expected and well done. We enjoyed our stay here.

Great location close to the main square. Room was spacious and clean.

WiFi was awful; it was slow, unreliable, and frequently disconnected. The valet service was helpful but pulling up in the middle of the street and scrambling to remove all your bags while traffic blows past is disconcerting. The valet then takes your car away, we dont know where, which meant we didn't have access to our car during our stay.

The breakfast was amazing, They have some specialty eggs that were absolutely delicious. The complex itself is beautiful. They've taken a lot of time and effort to preserve the history of the building and their culture. The staff was attentive and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who's thinking about having a close location to downtown. I was able to park my car and walk to all of the restaurants and sites easily. It's a beautiful hotel it's small, but it's got a restaurant and a pool. Most of all it's just really beautiful. I enjoyed my stay a lot.

I didn't find anything unpleasant I wish I had stayed more time there.

Beautiful grounds and room. Spacious, clean and pretty. fantastic service by helpful friendly front desk individuals. Amazing location steps from main plaza.

Breakfast service was lackluster with waiter seemingly annoyed at working there, strange compared to the rest of the staff. Bathtub could do with a bit of work.

The location was wonderful because it was near the central plaza in Merida. It's a Spanish mission that was converted to a hotel, so it's quite charming.

I really could've used an elevator, but then, this is an historic property. This is something to consider if you stay there and have any mobility problems. Ask for a downstairs room.
