Absolutely everything !

It's not that l didn't like, but quality of some of the drinks served at the open bar in the lobby could be improved a notch, esp whisky and the red wines. Also, for the sake of business travelers who cannot come back to the hotel as early as 4PM, the cheese tray service could perhaps be made available a little later, say between 5-7 PM.

The breakfast room and the food options were excellent. The room was staffed and kept very clean. Lobby coffee and drink service were a nice bonus. The location of the hotel was good, very close to many restaurants and tram service.

The hotel bed was too soft. While the box spring seemed okay, the foam mattress topper was very soft, with little support. My lower back was sore in the morning. Also, being an older building, there were steps from the street entrance to the lobby. Guests with a physical impairment or with heavy bags may be challenged.

Location is PERFECT. A quick walk and even quicker bike to anywhere in Amsterdam. Short walk to the metro or tram to easily catch the train anywhere else. Staff was wonderful, welcoming and always available. The open bar and snacks is a wonderful touch to have some down time before heading out for a later dinner or evening. Breakfast was also above our expectations; the staff was welcoming and eager to make our mornings comfortable. Food was good and did not feel repetitive between the omelette bar and pancakes being made. We had a beautiful canal view room that had plenty of space to hang out and relax in. The in-room snacks and drinks (also included) was icing on the cake through the week.

I would have to search long and hard to really find anything I did not like about the Banks Mansion. Anything negative would be nit-picky!

The location is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and offers several extra amenities, included in the price.

The breakfast was excellent for those who arrived early. After around 9:00 am, there was not much food left, and there were no refills of the available foods. The egg/pancake counter was very nice and the staff was great and this didn't run out. Unfortunately the bed was 2 mattresses on a base but the mattresses were constantly sliding off the base. One night my partner fell off the bed with the mattress, hitting his head on the bedside table. (We were leaving that morning.)

Staying just over 24 hours in Amsterdam we wanted a well located and comfortable hotel, at a reasonable price. We got exactly what we were looking for at the Banks Mansion. Have we stayed at more upscale hotels? Sure, but the rooms were nice and had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the showers great. The hotel has its own rusty charm. What made it extra nice was the included self service bar in the lobby (as well as the included minibar in the room), and nibbles such as candy, cheese tasting etc. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was great. Breakfast staff were particularly friendly and attentive. Other staff I encountered were all pleasant and friendly. Hotel had a nice vibe, great central location and the self service bar was a nice touch. I would stay again.

I felt for the price that there could have been more snacks included in the all inclusive, and I would have liked to have had bottles of water within all inclusive or available to take to my room. Room was quite small for the high price paid, but understandable for Amsterdam.

On arrival —-we were warmly met by reception staff ——check in was faultless and the smiling faces on arrival was very comforting after a long journey ——-the location of the hotel was exceptional -minutes walking distance from Rembrandt Square where a huge variety of restaurants /pubs /nightlife was on our doorstep !——breakfast was an experience to look forward to —an amazing variety of dishes and freshly cooked hot breakfast on the spot —-table staff were amazingly helpful and efficient ——————-all the staff throughout the various shifts were professional and went above and beyond for us ———-the girl on reception on our first night looked up the options of various restaurants to eat which remained open until a later time and a different staff member offered and assisted us to book Museum tickets ——————-our rooms were spotlessly clean and the free bar -snacks -cheese and wine just added to the whole experience ———-what a f@bulous idea !———- after a long day out ——we would look forward to coming back to the hotel for the most amazing sleep in the most comfortable bed ever ——I would 100% recommend your hotel to any visitors to Amsterdam ——-they are in safe hands and it is exceptional value for money in every aspect .

Nothing as far as our experience was concerned

The hotel had a wonderful ambience and the Art Deco decoration was quirky and comfy. The beds were THE most comfortable I have ever had and the pillows were like clouds! The staff were attentive friendly warm and accommodating also informative. The bar and lounge area was brilliant and the cheese trolley sweets, cookies etc were a fantastic surprise! The location was perfect and the toiletries were good on sensitive skin. The bathroom was large and clean. The room was cosy. The aircon was perfect lovely bedding and fluffy towels, dressing-gown, slippers etc. We loved the location of our room as could see the street and the canal. The breakfast and freshly cooked eggs were wonderful. We ate out at a local steakhouse and this was booked for us at reception as was the taxi to the airport (the driver and car were also lovely). The mini bar and snacks in the room were a nice touch - although we had no need to use them. The fresh tea downstairs was also lovely. There was no bottled water in the room but a note to say you could drink the tap water and we did and it was fine :-)

We were not sure how to use the pull-out shower attachment in the bath but to be fair, we didn't bother to ask. The room lighting was a little dark if putting on make-up although there was plenty of ambient lighting and we loved how the glass lit-up in the cabinets. We just had to take turns doing make-up in the bathroom when getting ready to go out which was not a problem.

Very nice! Chef was very friendly guy welcoming us each morning. Prepared our omelets and I loved the Dutch pancakes. A wide variety of choices for breakfast. Enjoyed the happy hour and hors d’oeuvres. Nice touch.

We arrived from a long airplane ride and unfortunately, arrived before check in. It would have been nice if we could have checked in earlier than 3 pm—due to exhaustion. One couples room was ready, but they had to pay €70 extra that seemed a bit much, especially since their room was ready.!! We did not like that..

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a good location. The trams are very near, and they're also within walking distance to all major sites. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The late afternoon snacks and goodies added a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable too! We really enjoyed the complimentary mini bar snacks and drinks in our room!

I had requested firmer pillows at my booking and had hoped I could get at least one. I asked upon arrival, and the host said he would look, but they only had a few, and people had already requested them. I have neck issues. Otherwise, I would not have asked.
