This is a real gem. Spacious room with a big modern bathroom in a high class area near Rembrantplais which has dozens of restaurants. A quiet and upmarket area and double glazing ensures a good nights sleep. Only a 15 minute walk to the centre of the city. The real magic is the view of the canal across the road. It is the spot where you can see 6 other bridges so the canal boats are always jockeying for a view. We spent hours looking out the window at the canal and all the action. It has a large communal kitchen which we used to make breakfast. Never saw another guest so we had it to ourselves. The complimentary beers and wine were most appreciated. We stayed in the Moon Suite.

Two fights of steep steps but a small price to pay

Great location and beautiful room. The canal view was wonderful. Very spacious room, comfortable bed, and lovely bathroom with shower and bath.

I never received the email from the hosts giving me the information to check in. When I arrived it was late due to my flight being later than expected. The door was locked and I tried calling every number I could find, then finally sent a message through booking.com - someone answered the door and the owner answered the phone at the same time, after we waiting at the door for 15 minutes. The woman who helped us in did help us with luggage up the narrow stair case, but everyone acted like I had done something wrong. I showed her I never received the email with instructions and then she understood it wasn't me, but them, but the only comment was "that's strange". No apology from owners or manager. Would expect more hospitality and kindness towards guests.

The property is beautiful and in a great location.

We picked it especially for the canal view and enjoyed looking out with a coffee in the morning g and glass of wine in the evening but unfortunately the second day we we there building work was happening early in the morning which disturbed us and it meant a huge blue netting and scaffolding was covering the front of the building blocking our previously lovely view. This was really disappointing and spoiled an otherwise perfect place for us. I would advise anyone staying in future to check this out first. The owners said they were unaware this was happening which was a shame. We would probably have chosen something else had we known this was happening.

The suite was excellent! The view of the canal was very Amsterdam. The suite is stylish, plenty of room, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was large and great for 2 people, with the bath an added bonus. We appreciated using the kitchen as we were staying with friends who rented a room downstairs. Sophie was very helpful and accommodating. We were grateful that we could leave our luggage when we arrived early and then when we were leaving. The location is excellent. We would definitely book again!

The location was really good "but not the best" It needs a little walk 10-15mins to reach the center The rooms are exactly like the pics Very clean and neat The hosts were very nice The bathroom was amazing, large, very clean.

My room was in the 2nd floor The stairs were very narrow and difficult to carry big baggages "but i guess almost all of amesterdam like that"

Lovedddd the location in particular - super close to everything needed. The complimentary soft drinks, beer & wine was also a delightful addition especially after a long day out. The room was super spacious with lovely views of the canal, bed & pillows were SO comfortable.

There was a booking error but Jani & Daphne quickly resolved this and after a long day of travelling was able to settle into a room and then moved to the room category I booked the next day.

Great location. Saving drinks in the kitchen.

Shower had mold on the floor. Several locations in shower wood trim were rotten. Bathroom towels were old and thin. Lights out in the shower. Glass doors for room entry and bathroom are a bad idea. Should be solid wood. Didn’t see air conditioner controls. No directions for coffee machine. Only down quilt on bed. Which we had a single sheet. We were either too hot or too cold. No one cleaned up the kitchen garbage. It sat there all weekend.

The spacious room, the room was beautiful and peaceful the facilities were great. Never been so glad to see a cold can of coca cola in the fridge when arriving and throughout our stay. IT was quiet BUT area was superb with so many beautiful bars, shops and restaurants. Walking distance to all attractions. The owner's text back immediately to answer questions. The tourist tax was added to the booking which was so handy. I would.100% recommend this place and delighted we chose the place over a tiny hotel room.

Location. Sophie was obliging and happy to help with anything. The room and bathroom were big with height ceilings. The common kitchen with free beverages was a great idea. Brug34 where we had breakfast each day was recommended by Mokum, a fabulous place to eat.

The stairs. We were on the 1st floor. Steps were extremely steep and narrow. Unfortunately, the bed was too soft for us. Had to get up several times at night to turn the hallway lights off after other guests on upper floors returned to their rooms late at night and the lights were bright through the glass door to our room. Despite the blind and curtains being closed.
