We stayed in the loft family room on the 3rd floor. The view of the canal from our big window was amazing. The room was cleaned everyday and the beds were comfortable. The staff who checked us in and out was very helpful. We also loved the breakfast (freshly baked bread and croissants, egg, yogurt, hams and cheeses etc). We didnt mind that they served the same spread everyday since we were only there for.2 nights. The location was also very accessible to everything, 18min walk to the Centraal Station, close to the metro and.tram stops. You can also store your luggage with them.

It didnt have an elevator which we knew when we booked so be prepared for very steep staircases ( typical of the houses in Amsterdam). If you are a family and using the same family room just pack 1 small suitcase with everything youll need for the few days that you'll be there and store the rest of your luggage downstairs. This is definitely not for those with mobility issues. The bathroom shower area was also quite small.

Very welcoming on arrival. Beautiful room in boutique hotel centrally located by canals. Provided part refund without asking due to view being blocked by scaffolding. Great breakfast too!

I came to Amsterdam for Taylor Swift and had an amazing experience here. The location of this hotel can’t be beat - close to everything you want to do and steps away from transit, but a bit removed from the super loud hustle and bustle. Beautiful views too! The staff were amazing and so helpful. I also loved that the front door was locked at night and you can only access with the night porter letting you in, as a solo traveller I felt super safe. The breakfast was so good!

I booked the single room on the main floor. It was comfortable and just enough for one person, but just note that it gets pretty loud in the hotel in the morning and if people are checking in late at night (to be expected) because you’re just off the hallway and there isn’t much sound proofing. There was also construction being done right outside of my window very early in the morning. I had a sleep mask and earplugs so not a huge problem but something to be aware of!

The room was aesthetically pleasing and a great size. It was well equipped with an electric kettle and a smart TV. The location is close to public transportation. It is only about 14 minutes from the Van Gogh Museum via tram, 18 mins from the Anne Frank house via tram, and 12 mins from the Heineken Experience via tram. The breakfast has a nice spread. We parked in a nearby parking garage for 75 euro for 24 hours. Also, we were celebrating my mom's birthday and they gave us a complimentary mini bottle of Prosecco upon check-in which was a lovely gesture. We really enjoyed our stay here.

No AC, no elevators.

The best location, close to everything! A small and very cute hotel, unique in its design and very pleasant. The lady at the reception when we arrived was exceptional, the kindest and nicest I have met recently, and this is in contrast to her counterpart at check out who was very unpleasant and rolled her eyes at everything…

It is very important to know that there is no elevator, the stairs are very difficult and winding so if your room is upstairs it is not easy at all with the luggage. Also note that in the family room the stairs inside the room are a bit dangerous for small children.

Location was perfect. Tram and Metro stop very close by on Ronkin. Tram - 1 stop to Dam Square, 2 stops to Central Station. Main attractions within walking distance e.g. Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum & Vondelpark.and more. Flower market around the corner. Beaut cafès and restaurant in the vicinity. Breakfast certainly adequate - eggs, bread, pastries, cereals, milk, yoghurt, juices, coffee & tea. 3 females were given a beaut room overlooking the canal - gorgeous. Staff were lovely and helpful, Lisa especially. Loved having the lounge area/gift shop. Great to be able to grab a light snack from reception when returning late in the evening.

I'm being picky here. Espresso coffee machine in the room was great, but the coffee pods not to my liking. Inferior quality to Nespresso pods in my view.

I had originally booked the attic room on the 4th floor, which was unfortunate, because I had a bad knee upon arrival. The staff were so kind, carried my luggage up, and also brought up ice for my knee. They booked a ground floor room for the 2nd night. The lounge is wonderful, the ambience is lovely, the location is superb, very near a tram stop. I didn't try the breakfast. I can't say enough about the caring attitude of the staff.

The pressure in the shower was a bit weak. The beds were a bit soft; I like firm, so it may be a matter of preference. The stairs to the 4th floor were almost dangerous, even if I had a good knee. Quite simply, book a room on a lower floor. No lift, but they do warn you.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They explained everything about the hotel, breakfast, storing luggage, and even gave recommendations on nearby places to eat and join canal boat tours. We were invited to stop by the hotel at any point during our stay to use the restroom, which was helpful and welcome as public bathrooms can be difficult to find. The rooms and the hotel itself were beautiful and comfortable, and the location is right on the canal and convenient to a lot of attractions - about a 15-20 min walk from train station, Rijksmuseum, and Anne Frank house. The only thing I would note for consideration is that it's an old building with no lift, so if you are not staying on the ground floor you will need to be comfortable with climbing the stairs - my attic room was on the 4th floor for reference.

No complaints!

Beautiful decor, staff really friendly.

Lots of steps. I knew there was steps but for the third floor there were 60 steps and it was like 10 steps then turn round a corner and another 10 steps so get really dizzy. I run three times a week and I thought it was too much. So be aware if not mobile. The breakfast was okay but kept running out of croissants. No hot food other than eggs but it does state continental so can’t fault on that just preference. I got bit three times in the bed. I didn’t check for bed bugs but just weird being bit every night.
