This is my third or fourth stay here. It's a very convenient location for me when I visit my son who lives nearby. However the no.13 tram stop is 5mins walk away and takes you to the city centre.. The hotel shuttle to the airport is a good price. My room was clean and comfortable. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The rooftop bar gives a great view of the city. Rembrantpark is just across the road.

My only quibble is with the tea and coffee making equipment in the room. It's a coffee pod machine and I use the hot water function to make tea but it always has a taste of coffee. The provision of a small kettle would solve this easily. Also some milk as well as coffee creamer would be good. The safe in my room was not working on arrival due to low battery and wasn't fixed during my stay despite mentioning it twice to staff. Minor issues that didn't spoil my stay.

The location is very nice, a good break from the busy, crowded city center. I loved that it's situated right by Rembrandtpark so it's very silent at night. You feel like you're staying at a hotel in the woods. The breakfast buffet add-on was totally worth it, even though it's the same items every day there's a large variety of items offered. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms facing the east have an incredible view of the city. It's very nice that they have a water fountain in the lobby to fill up your bottle - must've saved a small fortune on not having to purchase water throughout my stay (you know how Americans love and value staying hydrated). The 13 train is less than 5 minutes away and takes you right into city center, with some other stops before the center that get you right into some of the other big attractions.

The process to schedule cleaning was inconsistent, I'd request cleaning the night before and it wouldn't happen sometimes. Wished the gym was better equipped. Room was slightly on the smaller side, but not a major issue. Layout of room was a bit weird because the bathroom door would block the front door if you opened it - unable to keep the bathroom door open to let it ventilate. Wished the shower was better designed so you don't get the floor wet every time you take a shower.

Everything was great. Staff. Room etc. and food good

Beer was bad. Bar Staff could be better trained to pour a pint. Too much detergent in glass washer giving a pint that doesn't hold head. Being Irish we enjoy our pints but have to be good and not flat. In saying that we tried 2 Irish bars and pints were worse there. They aught to be ashamed of their Guinness and other beers but still no excuse in a hotel like Leonardo and could have been an extremely pleasant stay if bar staff were trained properly

The hotel was well priced and located for both the airport and the city centre. The tram stop but a 2 minute walk from the hotel was perfect for a 15 minute trip into Amsterdam. It costs 9 euro for a 24 hr travel pass but some of the tourist passes already include this so preparation will pay off. Breakfast is ample with plenty of choice and is served over panoramic views since the restaurant is on the top floor of the building. The bar is comfortable but opening /closing hours are at its own discretion. The rest of the hotel was clean and comfortable but more tea/ coffee supplies for a 3 day stay would have been appreciated: there were only 3 uht milk portions and 4 coffee pods. Bike hire is available at the hotel: ideal for the nearby park. It all felt very safe. Shuttle service to the airport is available and is a hassle free service. Would stay again and would recommend.

Breakfast is very good, excellent choices. The restaurant menu is superb, we went for the three courses accompanied by cocktails to suit the dishes, and a nice touch. The location to the city is great, as parking the car is so expensive, just a tram ride away off the street near to the hotel about £2.30 per person each way- no:13 go to central station near to the boats, with a charge of about 15 euros per adult, a short walk to shops and restaurants, try The Grasshopper, good menu and value for money. Best to obtain a good map beforehand to show all the best place, as walking is ok, and very safe, with a few bars around, if you need to sit, along with a loo break.

The location of our room, l would stay again, but not on in room 1608, as to the restaurant and bar are above, the noise travels down to the room. There no kettle in the rooms, the coffee machine boils water for tea, unfortunately, no tea bags or milk, so please ask, same with the towels, it’s a four star hotel, towels should be changed without the customers requesting, it’s not going to help the planet, but its a hygiene thing, after what, we’ve all been through, so be aware, if you need clean towels every day, you have to request them, via a QR code in your room.

The room was perfect, I had booked this as it was my girlfriend’s birthday and I had so purchased the birthday package which was exceptional, all of the staff were fantastic except for one of them, Imamrow who was being extremely difficult with a simple request for a pillow… however Kevin was fantastic and every other staff member was amazing and helpful to every little last detail including changing the birthday cake for a nut free version (which did in fact taste EVEN better!!) Kevin stated that he’s an intern?? Give that man a full time position and a pay rise he’s incredible. Thank you for making the trip very special for us.

Imamrow I think was his name, he really put a downer on it but like I said above Kevin really turned that around and fixed the issue

Really comfortable hotel with a great restaurant and bar area within easy reach of the sights of Amsterdam. I would recommend this for everyone looking for a weekend in Amsterdam in a hotel that's comfortable but not so close to the busyness of the main tourist spots. You can get everywhere within a 20-30 minute walk (weather depending) or a 10 minute tram ride (the tram is 2 mins from the hotel). The staff are also amazing. The receptionist fully understood the need for my British mother to have a kettle in her room for tea, rather than using the machine hot water and Jean at breakfast was exceptionally helpful, going out of her way to find us a table during a busy time and looking after my 5 year old. 5 stars for everyone.

absolutely nothing.

Hotel was clean and tidy, the breakfast was lovely. The rooms were very clean, warm and the beds and bedding were really comfortable as we're the pillows. The hotel is right on the 13 tram route so is easy to get anywhere, and the view from either side of the hotel is fantastic. The check out time of 12 o'clock is brilliant so there is no need to rush after your breakfast.

Nothing about the hotel. The hire bikes from the hotel are expensive and the portal did not work. This lead me to walking for 10 mins to a local shop and hired 2 bikes for the morning at 1/3 of the price €13, from hotel €39. Worth the walk and great service. Toerop Tweewielers is the bike shop to visit.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, pretty good location. Very nice view at the rooftop restaurant, worth to visit!

Policy to clean rooms only every 3 days. It took some time for us to notice that we have to fill in a form and give it to the reception until 10am. Also no fridge at the room.
