The staff was really nice, We had a problem with the first room we got (clogged shower), which was uncomfortable but we immediatly got a new room. we also recieved a small gift since we came to celebrate our anniversery, which was really pleasent. the room was quiete and the hotel was practically new and we had the towels replaced and the room tidied up every day. There is soap shampoo and conditioner in the shower and bathroom.

Several things werent the greatest - for the price, location was great but its far from city center. Sometimes we had to wait 10 min in the cold for the tram. but again, its good price per night. The first room we got had clogged shower that i discovered only after entering it, and at the cafe of the hotel you can only pay with card and in my opinion it was slightly pricy for what you can find downtown. Breakfest we didnt try, again because of the price. 19 euros will get you a really nice breakfest in town. overall the expirience was really good though

I think this could have been the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! We stayed in one of the top rooms which comes with a balcony which I really wanted to was happy to pay the extra for, but I would say the pictures don’t actually do the hotel justice! I was worried I’d be cold as they don’t look too comfy in the pictures but my room was so warm at all times! The bed was So comfortable along with the pillows! There was yoga mat and hula hoop in the bedroom which I loved (didn’t actually get around to doing any yoga) but it would of been helpful if I did, the hand soap was so smooth and luxurious that it tempted me to use the hotel shower gel (which I NEVER do in hotels) and wow it was amazing some of the best stuff I’ve ever used. The hotel on a whole was so good! The snacks downstairs came in handy when we wanted a midnight snack and they have a lot of vegan options which was helpful for us! We didn’t have breakfast but I’m sure that would have been amazing aswell! I will definitely be returning! Thank you!!

Quiet hotel, with an ecofriendly message. Friendly staff. Got a free croissant as they want to go against waste. Breakfast was expensive but good. Nice grilled vegetables, clearly indicated vegetarian and vegan options. As well as the usual continental breakfast stuff, and some overnight oats and chia puddings, things like that.

Too many e-mails - for one short stay, I think I received between 10 to 20 e-mails from them. Ironically, the question I asked them in e-mail about breakfast didn't get answered (however it was answered at the reception). Many e-mails, mostly with the same message about them being very busy (hey, me too!), or asking us to check in online (the button for which did not work). Maybe this is more a booking.com issue though.

The hotel was lovely! We really liked the whole ethos of the hotel chain which was very environmentally friendly but at the same time didn’t cut any corners with standards. The hotel was really clean, it was welcoming and the bed was super comfy!

The location was perfect for us as we have been to Amsterdam many times so knew where we were staying. However, if you haven’t been before, it’s between a 30 to 50 minute walk to some of the main attractions but the trams are super cheap and frequent so don’t be put off by the location. The neighbourhood is much more beautiful in comparison to the centre. Me and my partner disagreed over the pillows, he loved them but they are super soft so if you like a firm, supportive pillow these aren’t the ones for you.

This is a really cute little hotel with a lovely breakfast. The breakfast was very fresh and there is a lot of variety. The room was nice and comfortable but the heater is behind the curtains so I didn't know how to get the room warm until I called management because it looks like there is no heater. Once I found the heater, the entire heavy curtain covers the heater, so you have to prop the curtain up over the heater in order for the heat to actually circulate in the room. This is not ideal. They should really have shorter curtains in the room. The staff was also very kind and always helpful. The room is decorated in a very casual cool theme and I loved that they care about the environment.

The room was nice except the curtain/heater situation and the size of the room. It was very small Other than that it was a nice stay. I would come back but the curtain/heater situation is annoying tbh. I forgot to add that a lot of water falls to the floor in the bathroom and if they are trying to be eco and save water this isn't helpful when so much water leaves the shower and gets everywhere.

Love the whole eco friendly vibe, rooms always very clean and comfortable and I usually book a top floor room with a view and terrace for relaxing, nice coffee shop and breakfast area and always pleasant and helpful staff, area is away from the centre which is always good to escape after a long day but only 15/20 mins by tram and has a few nice restaurants, bars in the area to keep you going

My only issues is the showers, although very good, it's quite hard to position without flooding the bathroom but got the knack after a few stays, being picky add a mini fridge and I'd give it a 10

The employees are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. The rooms are spotless. Silent. Its location is a little far from the center, but it doesn't matter much because you can see many sweet restaurants and different streets by walking. The Vodem Park walking track right behind is incredibly beautiful. We went as two families. I had a 13-year-old daughter and a ten-year-old son. They both liked it very much. My friend had a baby and a three-year-old son. They were very comfortable. It is close to public transportation, but we preferred to walk. I liked it very much. Thank you to all the hotel staff.

I really like the modern and clean look, the vibrant colours and the messages on the signs throughout the hotel. I like the eco concept and it has honestly made me rethink my eco values. Never thought I would enjoy a vegetarian breakfast like the one served at the Conscious hotel and still have a great shower with 35% less water. I also chose to not have my room cleaned during my stay and have a tree planted instead. Staff were very friendly, multilingual and I love the message on their t-shirts “I’m eco sexy and you know it”. Sammy, Joao, Giorgio and others were amazing at their jobs. Most importantly, as a solo 45 year old female traveller, I felt extremely safe at this hotel and very comfortable.

I missed having some milk in my bedroom. As a Brit, I love my English tea with milk. The hotel does not provide milk in the rooms. However, when I asked for milk at reception, staff would always give me a cup to take to my room. It didn’t stay fresh for long as there was no fridge. I suggest providing little sachets of milk instead.

It's a very fun hotel in a great location, just a quick tram ride into the city (and trams come around every 5 minutes, too). Fantastic staff, very helpful and competent. The rooms are comparatively big and very cozy, the bathroom wasn't too small either, and everything is really rather clean (few spots on the walls where bugs got squished). Didn't try the breakfast but we might next time (even though there is a truly legendary bagel shop around the corner). It looked really good and vegan-friendly, which is rare, unfortunately.

I did notice no AC. As we stayed there in warm September weather it wasn't too bad, but maybe pay attention if you're booking for summer. Also, make sure you don't mind walking a bit to your room. There are two towers connected by a glass walkway, which is fun but gets a little confusing in the beginning.

Their suites were very nice and comfortable. The room was equipped with all that you need. Every square inch of every corner in the hotel was immaculate. The restrooms were very clean, tidy, and organized. They had beautiful, and relaxing decor. Their breakfast was impeccably prepared that we enjoyed every single morning. A variety of delicious foods and drink. Every staff member was cheerful and thoroughly helpful for every single need/ question we had. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Amsterdam.
