The room (standard double) was a good size, very basic, but good enough for just a short stay. The location was only 15 mins Taxi from the airport (£40), and a 1 min walk from the Metro & Tram. Tram was 20 min to the Central station stop. The hotel has a good café offering food & drinks, and had plenty of space to sit downstairs, with Table Football, pool table, Table Tennis.

The bathroom sink was blocked when we got there, which was fixed the following day by a friendly workman. The bathroom extractor fan wasn't working at all, reported but wasn't going to be fixed during our stay. The double room only came with supplies for one person - very minor, but just meant we had to go find the extra things.

The location is fantastic and conveniently located near the subway, which is practically right next door. Alternatively, there are streetcars available that can take you anywhere you need to go. The facility itself is very pleasant and offers a variety of amenities, including study rooms and recreation rooms.

We encountered some communication issues due to the frequent turnover of staff at the front desk. This hindered the smooth flow of communication, especially regarding our invoice requirements. Having to explain our needs to multiple individuals ultimately led to an error in the invoice made by the person responsible.

Very comfortable beds, very good position, it is on the metro station.

Very very slow at the check in and check out. At the check in there were three people at the front desk, but only one made the check in., so that I waited for 15 minutes because there were 4 people before me. At the breakfast (which was included in my reservation) the machine for coffee and cappuccino was out of service. I asked for a cappuccino and they told me I had to pay 4.40 euros. I paid, and 5 minutes later I discovered that another machine was working in a corner that before I did not see. They could only point at the machine when I asked!

Really cool and sociable setting. The room was adequate and clean and the downstairs lobby had a very welcoming lounge which created a very friendly atmosphere. Our first night in Amsterdam, we were quite tired but still wanted to do something fun so we just hung out downstairs drinking beer and playing pool. Very fun and welcoming hotel. Also only 20 minutes away from the airport via train which is a huge luxury if you're traveling around a lot.

Our AC didn't work the first few days and despite having brought it up with staff, it wasn't until the day before our departure that they sent someone to get it fixed. That was a bummer because one reason we booked this hotel was that it had AC.

The staff was really helpful and nice, everything was sorted quickly and without any problems. The room was clean, decent in size and there was a ceiling AC, which was cooling the room quickly during the hot days. The hotel is literally next to a metro station and a tram station (it's faster to reach the central part with the tram, as the metro takes around 20-25 minutes), which is very convenient. The lobby is nice and modern looking, you can get sandwiches and coffee and other snacks. The Wifi reception was decent and there was plenty of storage space in the room.

There were power outlets only on one of the sides of the bed. The lack of a small fridge is definitely an inconvenience as well. The shower was sprinkling water all around and despite the curtain the whole bathroom got wet and it took a lot of time to dry out. Every time someone somewhere outside was closing the hallway door, our door made a sound as if someone was trying to open it, which was a bit unnerving, especially during the night. The wifi is not password protected, which poses a security risk but it can be solved with a VPN. Overall, these are small inconveniences, which didn't impact our stay much, but are inconveniences nonetheless. It's a nice hotel but there is still room for improvement.

The room was very quiet, clean and had an air conditioner. It offered a table and a chair if you have something to work on. Breakfast offered everything I required. However, sometimes something was empty for a longer period. A metro and tram station is directly in front of the hotel, bringing you to the city center relatively fast.

The room was okay but could have been a bit larger to put the luggage without problems walking through the room. The interior was not the newest, but still good. The bathroom had a waterfall shower and a regular shower head which was nice. However, the water pressure was very low, and the temperature was difficult to adjust between water directly out of hell and iced water.

Initially I thought the location was quite some distance from the city centre, BUT after realising how great and close the public transport stops were, I very quickly realised that this was a non-issue. The staff were really friendly and it was a good vibe overall. The breakfast was a nice continental buffet style, which, while it wasn't huge, definitely covered all the bases.

Honestly, the bathroom. The shower curtain in our room was not quite long enough, and so water went all over the floor. We used most of the towels just trying to mop up the bathroom after a shower. Also, I found it rather odd that there was only one tiny mirror in the whole room, which was in the bathroom.

SH stuff is amazing — energetic, ready to help. Check in is effortless, they even have the option of self check-in. Rooms themselves are great, you get a lot for the price you pay. Location is not perfect but good enough, the metro station is right beside the complex, it will take you ~20 minutes to get to the city centre. Many additional services include gym, laundry, coworking space and more. Also, they give out small dutch treats at the check-in/out, which is a nice heart-warming bonus

Room was great but it must be noted that showerheads are mounted solid in the wall and are quite uncomfortable to use. Breakfast has room for improvement, providing only satisfactory but not rich selection of meals. Also, the coffee from the machine was below average. Overall, you can expect a decent breakfast.

Big double bed with clean bed sheets, clean bathroom with towels and soap and shampoo. TV with English channels. Easy access to the room with a key card. We found small appetizers and bottled water which was for free for guests. The reception was always helpful and you can borrow for example hairdryer there. Near the reception there were lots of activities to do, e.g. pool, table tennis or bed talks TV.

A lot of bugs in the room biting during the night, because we couldn't close the window. There was problem with shower and sink drains as they were clogged by hair. Not all sockets were working as well. The main lights in the room weren't working.

For a solo traveller, the room was spacious enough, clean and quiet. No bed-side table. WIFI pretty fast. Train station, Metro and Tram are quite nearby. Opposite the hotel also possibilities to walk. Nice restaurant (Boes & Beys) just around the corner. The concept of the Social Hub was new for me but attractive, it is about empowering youth to develop themselves and make friends. You can check in all by yourself, there is a bar and a lobby and there is also a sort of restaurant.

A more personal welcome by someone who speaks Dutch would have been nice. The steps up into the reception are too steep and not safe enough for someone of almost 80. The handrail was not usable due to a planter. The hotel is large and it was hard to understand in what building my room was situated. This hotel looks more to be a youth hostel or student campus but the ambiance was quite peaceful and cosy.
