The apartment is really stunning with a great location, close to public transportation and within walking distance of a lot of things, like cafes, shops, restaurants and grocery stores. the kitchen is well equipped and Eric genorously had stocked it with snacks and drinks for us. He was really accommodating and flexible, and offered to store our luggage for us since we had a flight in the evening. The apartment itself was so beautifully decorated, felt like staying in a real home, and it was so nice to have a relaxing place to come back to even though we spent most our time exploring the city. The bed is comfortable, bathroom is big and the bathtub is a really nice touch. We loved!!! the view of the canal from the big windows in both the living room and bedroom.
The apartment doesn’t have a door or separate entrance, only a staircase, so if you are weird about privacy it might bother you. It did not bother us at all. The stairs up to the apartment and to the bedroom from the living area are really steep. I thought people in the reviews here were exaggerating but they really are steep, which is not a big issue for young people like us, but I imagine if you were older or had trouble with your legs or back it would be hard to get up and down as they are really narrow and steep. But for us it was okay!

Eric, the host, was absolutely charming. He told us a little about the history of the building and he also provided some delicious wine & snacks which was lovely and very thoughtful. His warm and friendly welcome made our trip feel positive from the start. The accommodation was beautiful, full of character. It has excellent facilities and was very clean & warm with a lovely comfy bed. It's a perfect place to return to after a long day. We loved the balcony view overlooking the canal and enjoyed sitting and drinking our freshly made coffee, just watching and listening to the world passing by. The apartment is a great place to stay for exploring Amsterdam, every turn brings something new to see. It's only a short walk into the city centre where there's lots to do and see but just around the corner from the apartment we found rows of narrow cobbled streets full of artisan shops and some amazing local food shops and quirky pubs. We loved our stay here and would book again in a heartbeat ♡

Myself and my partner stayed here for a few days in August and we had the best time. The apartment is just beautiful, centrally located with picturesque views of Amsterdams canals. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and we also received a little selection of local cheese, wine and chocolate on arrival. When we stayed it was very hot but Eric had placed lots of fans around the apartment for our comfort. Eric was the perfect host, helpful, friendly and the most wonderfully kind person. Checking in and checking out was so easy and he even let us store our suitcases for a few hours after checking in before we headed back to the airport. The bed was really comfortable with lots of hanging space in the bedroom. The bathroom with the huge bathtub was an added bonus. Honestly we couldn’t recommend staying here more if we tried. It made our first trip to Amsterdam unforgettable. Thank you again Eric, it was a pleasure to meet you and stay in your beautiful apartment
Nothing :)

The host Eric was lovely! The apartment was lovely and so spacious! It was in a lovely location and close to lots of different things and only a few minutes walk from a tram stop. The view from the apartment is amazing. Eric also gave us some snacks and wine which was lovely! There was a €30 cleaning fee when you arrive which is fine. We were able to leave our bag in before check in and after check out which was really helpful so we could get out and explore! We would definitely stay here again.
Nothing it was lovely.

The location was fabulous….the view to the canal and access to a very nice neighbourhood. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped
The stairs… the stairs were incredibly narrow. We left our small bags in the lounge as it was too dangerous to carry them up to the bedroom. I don’t know how you would get a 20kg bag up the stairs . Every time we went up and down the stairs we had to be really very careful

Every detail in the house was very meticulous. we loved all the decor, ambiance and amenities. The coffee we drank and the food we ate in company with the canal view will be added to our unforgettable memories. Eric was very kind and helpful. We stayed for a week and he had the house cleaned twice. everything was awesome! 🌸

Location was great. Really friendly host. Very cute apartment with a great balcony
Stairs were a little steep, there was also some confusion about the deposit prior to booking which I think needs more clear on the website/ from the people who send you a message after you book. There was a third party who messaged and I got confused as well as a strange reaction from booking.com about the messages.

The location was maxing and he apartment is beautiful. Couldn’t imagine a better place to stay. Perfect balcony to sit and watch the world go by with a wine art night.
Nothing. The only very small negative was asking owner a question about a restaurant and not hearing anything back but Erick was very nice

This is a beautiful apartment in a great location. Perfect for exploring the city as it is very central and the nearest tram stop is only a few minutes walk. Eric greeted us and provided a lovely welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. Sitting on the balcony people watching was such a treat!
