I was satisfied with my stay. First of all staff were very friendly and helpful. Add to that I was able to do an early check in with small charge which was ok for me. I liked the location very much and I think I was lucky. Very dynamic location surrounded with every thing you need. Small shopping mall, grocery, barbers, many many restaurants specially halal ones turkish and Arabic, dessert shop. For smokers they provide shisha. People gathers evening to eat and smoke. Place is very safe And close to beautiful small parks. Very easy access to the hotel from the airport and from hotel to city center. Taking bus 369 from Airport will drop you in front of the hotel. Going to city center it will take 5 min by bus 369 to station sloterdecjk then 5 min by train to Central Station. Rooms are not brandnew but clean and comfortable. Coffee machine and capsules were added daily. Sure I. Would go back again

Nothing really maybe the room not that big of you have big bags only

The three-bed room was very spacious, with three beds, four chairs, a table, and a big wardrobe. The bathroom shower and tub were terrific. The price is also very competitive for the Amsterdam area. You can also book breakfast with a discount if you pay for it at reception at least 24h in advance. The room also had an ironing board, a vanity kit, and a sawing kit which came in handy. Our room was looking into an inner courtyard, so it was very quit as well. Some of the rooms look on a nearby lake, some on the street. So, it is a bit of a luck of a draw, but the soundproofing seemed adequate. The hotel is very well connected with the city centre (two trams and a bus) as well as with an airport via the 369 bus (with which you can get to the airport with a regular GVB card). There are also many shops and restaurants all around the hotel. The hotel only has three floors, but it still has a lift, which my elder guests would definitely appreciate.

One of the beds was very squeaky and the pillows were not too comfortable; those should definitely be replaced. The water container in our room had water in it when we got in, indicating it was not cleaned at all.

Second time staying here and loved it! We got an early check in and they let us leave our bags whilst we went to the market next door (only on Saturdays and it has fruit, clothes and other items for very cheap!!). The room was spacious, nice waterfall shower and a great view of the water behind (although we also had construction items there but what can you do). Breakfast was nice and had a great variety too. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The fridges in the rooms need desperate updating a cleaning off the ice. We had stuff in the fridge and the block of ice on the radiator (or whatever the inside part of the fridge is) melted all over our fruits and other items. We asked them to come have a look and the person who did, did the bare minimum to fix it and said it’s supposed to be like that. I’d recommend they upgrade the mini fridges or at least clean the ice blocks off them between guests. Also, the signage for the airport taxi should indicate there is a credit card fee on top of the price. Luckily we paid cash but the driver told us there was an extra fee for paying with card which isn’t posted anywhere on the hotel signage. Otherwise, the stay was great and staff were lovely and helpful

Clean and Comfy place everything is nice. Only location was bit far from city center It takes 30min to reach central station

I really liked the rooms. They were quite comfortable and facilities were top notch and it matched my expectations. Location of the hotel is also quite good. It is well connected to Amsterdam Centraal through tram and bus and it takes 20 - 25 mins to reach Centraal station. Would love to come back

Being a nit pickey here but I would love to have more vegetarian/vegan options in breakfast.

Close proximity to many restaurants - specially Halaal foods since its area where most of Mid eastern families lives- Safe and secure as well

Distance from City center but there are PT not far from Hotel that takes 27 minutes from Hotel to Center. The rooms needs some minor fixes since the wallpapers starting to show some wearing signs This was our second stay so we can make out the differences

The staff was amazing!! Naoual was incredible! Shewas perfect! Literally perfect! I’m sure I was a pain to deal with and maybe even drove her crazy but she was so kind and always went out of her way to make sure I had what I needed! I also was so grateful for Christina, Natalia, and Camilla! All of them were so helpful and so kind! As an American in a foreign place, they all worked so hard to make my stay absolutely amazing! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else but XO Blue Square in future trips to Amsterdam, simply because of these amazing women!

Nothing! Everything was great!

The hotel is really nice, modern, and elegant, with ample space for two people. The receptionists were friendly and accommodating. When they found out we were from Spain, they kindly spoke to us in Spanish, which was a nice touch. The cleaning service was excellent; we were out all day and returned to clean rooms with fresh towels. I also appreciated having a coffee machine in the room. We used it every morning, and the staff thoughtfully replaced the cups and replenished the coffee supply.

I don’t have any major complaints, but I do have a suggestion. It would be great if they could replace the small tubes of hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap with dispensers. It would be more convenient and environmentally friendly by reducing plastic waste.

The place was good for a short stay near the city. The room was quiet most of the time. As this time we were in the floor room I can't say it had a good view, but that was ok. One tip for people who go with their cars... avoid using it to go to Amsterdam! Parking fees can really rack up, I guess it's their way to discourage traffic going into the city. Best to use Uber to move around. Less headaches and local drivers are better aware on how to avoid all the bycicles, which is nerve wracking!

A few noisy people walking on the corridors was annoying, and I wish the hotel would make people aware that they should use the lobby to go and talk on their phones.

Firstly, the 369 takes you directly from Schiphol international to within 20m of the Hotel which is an absolute win! Checking in early or late will only cost you an additional 5 Euro per hour, but most importantly the staff we're very friendly and helpful throughout! Many cafes around for an early breakfast, and the town centre is within a couple km. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and exceeded my expectations.

Whilst not a deal breaker, I walked to the city centre which could be far for most people. (ballpark an hour walk) I opted to walk because I like walking. Most people would opt to use public transport to get to the centre, but not a deal breaker at all.
