- the comfy bed and the toiletries - with air con (which is one of the crucial soundproof facilities for a premise situating next to a busy road) - friendly staff - very roomy with good use of space + separate shower and toilet space. i think it’ could accommodate 3 ppl with adequate storage space I found that it’s not as noisy as previous reviewers described

- it’d be perfect if they provide washing machine in the loft - the steep staircase (we are ok with it coz we’ve packed light with just one 20” suitcase and a shoulder luggage bag but it could be a nightmare for ppl with large suitcases)

the staff were amazing and really went the extra mile. Check in was a breeze and nothing was too much trouble it was a delight to see Abdul at breakfast each morning - such a happy soul.

the never ending steps up to lift 5 bathroom and toilet areas rather small in the lofts

The location is amazing, and it's a really lovely large room with desk, sort of fire area, mini kitchen and big comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent in the main hotel area (also a nice place to sit and people watch). I had an early breakfast business meeting in the morning in my room, it's also a good room to have a meeting in due to the size and layout. I do echo other people's comments, the trams are really loud outside even with earplugs - fine for one night, and they finish at midnight. Not sure I'd want to get woken up every morning at 6am if I stayed for longer :)

Only thing I didn't like was the noise from traffic and trams on two sides of the building. And the booking wasn't very flexible, I booked the flexi rate but then just missed the change period. I guess that's so they know they can have the room filled.

The location of the loft was very good. Tram and the metro isn’t far away. From there you get really fast to the most destinations in Amsterdam. The optional breakfast was very good and served at the the table. In my option that’s better as an Buffet

Unfortunately we got a Loft that’s was extremely close to the crossroad where many Trams are. There was a Tram every 3 minutes until midnight. It was very very noisy so that you can’t sleep without good earplugs. Fortunately we could switch the apartment to another apartment which was quieter. Thanks for that.

Wonderful large room with very comfortable bed, great shower, and small kitchenette. The location was excellent- on the door step to everything but next to a park with a great neighbourhood vibe.

Nothing. Just be aware that there is a very narrow and steep staircase to get to room. It was fine for me but it was the steepest staircase I have ever seen.

lots of nicely-finished, well-designed, comfortable space in a calm neighborhood near the Rijksmuseum (not so touristy). easy access to lots of restaurants, shopping, canal walks and transportation. very nice bathroom setup. friendly and helpful staff.

no elevator, and the stairs are steep. heavy suitcase could be problematic for some. property is on a corner where two tram lines cross, so every minute or two there is the thunder of a tram crossing the other tram’s tracks. you get used to it, and it stops between midnight and six am.

The room is very clean, spacious, and well designed. It is very comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. It is well located and the staff in the reception were very friendly and warm. The shower is very modern clean and well equipped.

I didn't know I would need to carry the suitcase up some steep staircase as there is no elevator, but as I was traveling with only a trolly it was manageable. If you travel with heavy luggage it would be advisable to check with reception if you can be assisted with that.

The Loft is a great option for extra space and kitchen facilities. The location is very convenient for the metro and tram. Lots of local bars and restaurants too.

Trams pass by this busy junction from 6am. Can be quite loud despite sound proofing windows.

Fantastic staff, nice lobby for breakfast and a drink, good location

I was surprised to discover there’s no lift access to the lofts, with very steep stairs, which was a struggle to carry up luggage or for people with mobility problems (as my friend had). Also the armchair upholstery had a slag in it which was a poor look.

great lofts, great kitchen facilities, great daily cleaning service, friendly reception and floor personnel, will definitely visit again

stairs are steep indeed yet thats the case for almost all historical apartments/buildings in amsterdam and great for one’s physical condition, too
