Great location in a beautiful old building in the city center, but still quiet. Very attentive staff. Clean and spacious room. Interestingly constructed elevator.

According to the hotel policy on Booking.com, check-in should be possible until 8 p.m. However, after booking, I received an email saying that reservations are only held until 6 p.m. So I had to send a message to clarify this. Breakfast must be booked the evening before, specifying the time and desired selection.

The room was clean and well presented with free tea/ coffee facilities. The en suite was also good. Staff were helpful and pleasant to talk to. The provision of a main door key enabled access late at night. Location was perfect being within easy reach of several key places.

The only real negative was street noise caused by early morning revellers and utility vehicles. We needed to leave window open due to heat but would be quieter if closed. Might be worth asking for a room at back of hotel, if available, if you are a light sleeper.

We had a lovely large room. It had a comfortable place to sit and relax. The bed was huge and perfect for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was really good, lots of options. The staff was very friendly and made you feel at home. We had dinner in their restaurant which was beautifully decorated. The dinner was a real gourmet treat with delicious food. The waiters were very friendly, efficient and professional.

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and great breakfast. Good location in terms of proximity to city centre and tourist attractions.

With the great location also comes a lot of street noise especially on a Friday night until late. It's a risk you take.

Cozy, vintage, nostalgic, classy. Beautiful vintage furnishings. Retro with a hint of contemporary style. Small but very pretty and comfortable rooms. The most beautiful breakfast lounge, I’ve seen, with old wooden floors, antique furniture, a fireplace and beautiful vintage set up. Made me feel like I traveled back on time! Amazing breakfast freshly cooked/baked. Staff was polite, friendly and very helpful. Very nice location close to everything within walking distance.

The room was smallish but fine. There is no air on but large quiet fans were supplied and needed as the night was very warm. The staff were very helpful in guiding us for parking. There is no car park there but one about 400 m away. We stopped outside and dropped off our bags before losing the car. Breakfast was generous (preordered).

Very friendly staff, exceptionally clean room and updated furniture, ideal location yet quiet. The restaurant space looks amazing and it was unfortunate that we didn't have enough time to grab a meal there!

The bed was very squeaky on one side so that definitely needs to be replaced. However, we only stayed for one night and were extremely tired, so knew that it won't affect us too much. It might also get cold in winter months due to the building being old, but that's the same almost anywhere in Maastricht.

The hotel is extremely well located in the heart of Maastricht old town and the hotel building itself has a lot of character. The room was well appointed, the breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. The hotel moreover adjoins a top quality restaurant.

The single room is very small, but ok for a short stay of 1-2 nights

Location couldn't be better - quiet, but only five minutes' walk from shops, sights, restaurants. 18th c building, beautifully decorated, lovely restaurant with excellent menu. Great breakfast. Welcoming staff, minimal formalities on checkin/checkout which I always appreciate.

May not be a negative for others, but when we come back (which we definitely will!) we'll book a room on the first or second floor, as three steepish staircases up to our 3rd floor room was a bit much for us. There is a hydraulic lift which I avoided unless we had our luggage or heavy shopping.

Briefly, the location of the hotel is really good. We were able to walk around without spending too much time. Meanwhile, the stuff was so friendly and they showed a great hospitality. When it comes to the room, it was as it's mentioned in the webpage and so clean and equipped with the hairdryer, towels and necessary things in order to have shower. At the same time, there is water boiler with cups and coffee/tea. Overall, it was really nice experience.

I don't really remember something as a point that I didn't like at all.
