I had a very good stay at the Ibis Styles Hotel. The room was cleaned daily. The area is pretty quiet. It is also nice how the hotel is close to the airport (10 minutes away) and there's a free service airport shuttle available which makes it convenient for first time travelers to Amsterdam. The hotel is also close to the bus station that takes you to the city center.

The location of the hotel is far away from the center. It will take you 40 minutes to 1 hour to go to the center. The staff are not really welcoming or friendly. They can be better in communicating with the clients. The room does not have any slippers or room personal gadgets that usually come in a three stars hotel.

Everything was great, except the shuttle bus to and from the airport. It would take us over 30 minutes to get to the ibis styles from the airport once the bus finally came b/c they would drop off at the other 2 ibis hotels and then go back again to pick up at both hotels after waiting sometimes more than 5 minutes at these locations while we had to just sit and wait on the bus. So they would circle around these 2 hotels at least 2 times if not more every time and then finally go to ibis styles. One night there was an employee that they wanted to pick up and bring from the ibis budget to the ibis hotel, maybe a 2 block distance. We went around 4 times to get this employee who could have walked between the two hotels easily. People were clapping when we finally reached ibis styles about 45 minutes after the airport pick up. Also we would see other hotel shuttles come by at least twice before our bus would come. I would not stay again at your hotel b/c of the shuttle. To much unnecessary wasted time!!

The shuttle bus!!!! Pick up should be every 20minutes instead of every 40 minutes if not more for ibis styles!!! It would take us 1-1 1/2 hours to get from central station to your hotel b/c of your inefficient shuttle!!

Shuttle bus to and from the airport was great.Comfy beds , nice hot and powerful shower. Staff very helpful , bar prices very reasonable compared to the rest of Amsterdam and given that there's nothing nearby. Free coffee in the morning was good . The soundproofing in the bedroom windows is amazing , despite being literally over the road from some KLM hangars you couldn't hear any aircraft noise. The living moss wall and plants near the lobby were cool.

Not a dislike as such but a tip for others, while it was handy for the airport it seemed like there was absolutely nothing else nearby so wouldn't really recommend it as a base for visiting the city itself for more than 1 day.

Free Shuttle worked well, although it is a bit crowded sometimes since it stops at Budget Ibis and Ibis Hotels (regular) before stopping at Ibis Styles FROM the airport to Hotel. Much Better on the ride to the airport (which is more important in any case) where the Ibis Styles is the first stop.

Restaurant had very limited menu. No other dining options anywhere nearby. And REALLY, come on, charging 2 Euros for Mayo for my Fries seemed VERY GREEDY! When I'm paying a barely reasonable/ but expected much higher price already for a minimally adequate meal (and no other options anywhere nearby), charging for condiments is strictly a greedy rip off!

Our flight was cancelled at the last minute and the earliest available option was after two nights.. so we booked this hotel to check in straight away as we were stranded in the airport. We came in super tired and the staff was incredible: they were very supportive and lovely to talk to, and recommended things to do around the area. The rooms were very pretty and quite clean. Great shower pressure! Food was good - we had breakfast included in our stay and it was varied and tasty, plus the room/environment was not overwhelming. It also had lots of vegan options. A honorable mention to Helmi who absolutely went above and beyond. She was incredibly helpful and we were so grateful for her!!

Nothing to say! I obviously wish I hadn't had to book it in the first place, but I am pleased about how the experience turned out. Thank you all!

Nice hotel, everything was clean and comfortable. Not sparse or basic in any way the way I've heard other IBIS hotels can be. Comparable to a Best Western plus. The shuttle does run to and from the airport every 40 minutes door to door which was essential.

the view from the room was a gigantic concrete box with a highway behind it. Didn't care for that aspect. If you want to feel like you're in something out of Farenheit 451, this is your room. The restaurant was decent, staff was not very efficient or courteous. I ordered a glass of water and they seem genuinely irritated. Not close to the airport despite what they advertise. You're looking at a 15 minute shuttle ride to and from and it is several miles away. Also when you get on the shuttle at the airport, make sure you get on the one that is going to IBIS styles. There are a couple of "IBIS" shuttles and it's confusing. This shuttle will stop at Budget, and the normal IBIS before taking you finally to IBIS STYLES

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially upon check in. The room was very spacious, clean and exactly what we required. The tiling in the bathroom was retro and made for a good vibe - something different from the norm. The breakfast selection was small, but had everything you needed - including good coffee! Proximity to the Airport was great and the parking was ideal for our needs.

The room was great, however it did not have coffee making facilities or a fridge/minibar...which is the only small fault we could find. Oh, and the desk chair had a pretty major stain on it...which should have maybe been switched out.

booked this hotel last minute after a cancelled flight. was pleasantly surprised! the room was quite spacious with a good sized bathroom and shower. they run free shuttles to and from the airport approx every 40 mins which is helpful. the reception staff were incredible, very friendly and helpful.

the only slight downside was that there was no kettle in the room for my morning coffee! also it was not the hotels fault but our bus to take us to the airport did not show up with no communication between the bus company and the hotel so maybe be aware that the buses aren’t 100% reliable. however the reception staff were very helpful in trying to rectify the issue!

It is very stylish for an Ibis Hotel. The bathroom is really great -- roomy, with everything one needs. It is well situated: near enough to the airport and only 20 minutes by bike to Amsterdam Zuid. And although I would not say it is quiet, the sound insulation from the highway outside the window ensured I had a good night's sleep. Finally, the staff were great, making this feel like a little local hotel, far more than just one of a big chain of hotels.

Having free coffee and tea available 24/7 sounds great, but it is a real hassle to have to go down to the breakfast room / bar every time one needs a coffee. Also, I thought this stay was quite expensive, considering what they offer.

The property was well kept, the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was good. The best part was that the window in our room opened so we didn't need to run the A/C and there was an outdoor sitting area where smoking was NOT allowed so it could be enjoyed by all visitors.

It was much longer ride to the airport than I expected and involved stopping at two additional properties. The bar needed some real bartenders. Interestingly the ingredients for two of the drinks advertised on the menu were not even available at the property.
