The biggest standout was that our car's battery ran flat in the night. I asked the receptionist if they had a jumppack and she quickly went over to the owner who went out of his way to get one from storage. They saved us a lot of stress, especially since it was a public holiday. There was also a spa in the bathroom, which was a nice surprise.

One of the living room cushioned chairs (not sure about the others because I'm not some chair goldilocks) had a broken base and sank unevenly when sat on. Also there was a pair of shoes under one of the sofa chairs. I'm assuming it was from the last people who stayed and seemed like an indication that the room was not thoroughly inspected/cleaned before us.

The room was generous with access to a back garden, which was great as we had 2 dogs with us and got to enjoy the Blenheim sunshine in the garden and also, parking at our door. Great location on a main street in Blenheim, supermarkets, restaurants, and the river (for walking dogs) was close by. It is under new owners (only 8 days), staff were very friendly and polite. Rooms need an upgrade, but we were very happy as was a fair price to stay. I would come back.

It was a very warm summer, so the rooms were a little hot with no AC. I am sure this will be resolved with the new owners.

I liked the cleanliness of the place , the bed linen and the very comfy bed. I liked it was ground floor level.

It was extremely HOT and the place didn't have a heat pump to use as a cooler. It did have a fan, which was a bit dilapidated which helped. There were no windows to keep open at night to cool the place down. A light bulb was out and needed replacing and there was quite a big stain on the lounge area carpet. And only 3 sugar sachets but I asked at reception and they gave me more.

Good location. Clean unit. Shower good. Heater worked well. Lots of toiletries and tissues for our use. Plenty of towels. Bed comfy. Room warm. Parking good

Eftpos machine not working when I tried to pay. Heater noisy though efficient. Carpet looked very dirty and needed a clean. 4 ice bricks in freezer that looked like they had been there a while. Sliding door difficult to lock. No milk in fridge when we arrived

Large room with a comfortable bed. Nice having the outdoor area and plenty of doors to open to keep the room cool on a hot day. Easy check in, friendly staff and parking right outside the unit. Opposite the pub and the supermarket, which was super handy for us. Thanks heaps!

A little bit unclean and dated. Had to re-whip a few surfaces but easily done. Wasn’t an issue!

It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. and the staff was very helpful. There is a Countdown supermarket and a nice café just across the road from the motel. We were in Unit 1, which had a queen-size bed in the lounge and a king-size bed in the bedroom. Which was great for us.

The water pressure in the shower was not very good at all, and there was no hand rail in the shower or toilet if anyone was to need it.

It was warm and bed was super comfy.plenty of tea and coffee etc.only thing I can say is the bathroom fan comes on with light in bathroom and is noisy. But that is only picking .it is a great place to stop and rest on my way to North island next day.have stayed here a couple of times and staff /owners are great people.

Looked like it was brand new .. lots of great touches .. clean, had everything we needed ..

The had 2 skylines which were very nice unless u wanted to sleep while sun was out .. bathrm door could be closed to eliminate lite, but kitchen one had no solution ..

Close to supermarket and on main highway. Pleasent environment and comfortable rooms. Pet friendly and family safe.

Matching glasses would have been pleasant as the glasses were all different 3 glasses, all 3 different sizes. But that was the worst thing.

Circumstances necessitated my stay in a motel and I think I picked the right one I’ve had a lovely stay and the staff have been absolutely wonderful
