It all starts with the lovely, tucked away location just 5 mins from Blenheim town Center and right in the middle of all the vineyards. The cottages are beautifully built and maintained and are equipped with all the amenities one can think off. The place is very peaceful and perfect for “slowing down life”. We spent a lovely evening drinking wine on the deck and relaxing near the fire place in our cottage as the evening grew colder - was perfect! The animals on the property are a huge bonus, especially for animal lovers and kids - we spent a lot of time with them. The breakfast items provided by Sharon in the room were great. Overall we loved our stay and will surely recommend this place to anyone travelling to the Marlborough region and is looking for quaint luxury.

The location is a beautiful, tranquil setting. Each separate cottage is quite private. We stayed in The Stables, which was a beautiful, peaceful setting, perfect for couples. The view of the sheep, chickens, deer, was very special. Treats for the animals were also provided! The cottage is tastefully decorated and all of the essentials are provided. The fresh breakfast food provided was wonderful: fresh eggs, delicious gluten free granola, fresh squeezed orange juice, butter, bread, croissants and I am sure I am forgetting things. The wood stove heated the cottage wonderfully. Out host provided excellent advice on dining, activities and even travel suggestions. Of all the places we stayed at on both the North and South Islands, this was by far our favourite.

This is the most adorable property with the sweetest cottages located in the middle of vineyards on all sides. The location is perfect for wine tasting in the Marlborough region. The owners, Sharon and Jason, could not have been more accommodating. They provided all you need for a fresh breakfast. Their recommendations for dining in the area (as well as other locations on our route South) were spot on. The bed was so comfortable. And to top it off, feeding the alpaca and sheep each morning was a great way to start the morning laughing. We absolutely loved our stay!

St Leonards Vineyard Cottages is a beautiful property, located just on the edge of Blenheim, surrounded by vineyards and rolling hill vistas. The cottages are private, stylish, cosy and comfortable, enclaved by colourful cottage gardens and beautiful bird song. A pot belly fire warms the soul as does a glass of premium Marlborough wine. The animals are a delight. Sharon and Jason are lovely hosts, with great communication and by the end of our stay we felt like family. We highly recommend staying at St Leonards Cottages.

The cottages were well appointed, perfect location with beautiful views over the vineyards. Ample provisions and choices for breakfast were supplied. The gardens and surrounds were beautiful and superbly manicured. Our hosts, Jason and Sharon were super friendly and went out of their way to help us with information on restaurants and activities, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be coming back to St Leonards Cottages. Many many thanks for your wonderful hospitality.

Very cosy with a lovely setting - loved the fire! Very sunny as well.
While we really enjoyed our stay, just felt it missed the mark a little for the price. Reading previous reviews we were a little underwhelmed by breakfast (definitely not enough provided for 3 nights) and while the lovely host said we should ask for more, we were just enjoying the time to ourselves so didn’t bother. Outside bath would have been nicer if there had been robes to use? Probably just being picky but at $450 a night it’s definitely up there with expensive hotels!

Our cottage was one of four separate and unique buildings in the grounds of a period Marlborough house from the late 19th Century. Our hosts, Natasha and Jonathan, were incredibly warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. The property has impressive grounds that include a lawn tennis court, pétanque court and swimming pool with separate hot tub. It's nestled among vast fields of vines and very central for anyone wishing to take a wine tour, or two, something that we did and enjoyed thoroughly. The property enjoys many mature fruit trees, from which you are welcome to take whatever you need (especially lemons!) and there is a small field with some friendly sheep and chickens you can feed, if you wish. The family's dogs are delightful but can be kept separate should you prefer not to encounter them. Our cottage had a spacious living room with kitchenette, enjoying a vaulted ceiling with wood-burning stove to complement the heat-pump/air-conditioner, a separate bedroom and bathroom and was totally secluded by hedges and fencing to the other parts of the property, but also had an amazing view across the fields to mountains in the distance. Breakfast was a DIY treat with plenty to choose from, much of which is sourced from the property or local producers. We walked into Blenheim one evening, which took around 45 minutes, but chose to drive into Renwick as it's quite a hike in the opposite direction and the only road is fairly busy without a walkway next to it. We walked on the 'shoulder' but it's probably not advisable, especially at night.
Nothing, it was superb and we would stay here again and recommend it to others.

This was the best stay on our 4-week holiday to NZ. Everything was perfect. The bed, the bathroom, the kitchen was all superb. Cannot recommend this place anymore highly. Jonathan and Nataysha are excellent hosts. We wandered around the garden which is just lovely. You can pick oranges and mandarins to consume as you wish, and they were delightful. Breakfast was included as well. Parking is just outside the room which are all little separate villas, so you are a long way from your neighbours.

We loved everything. A beautiful peaceful location surrounded by vineyards. Woke to the sound of the birds, sheep and the sun rising over the vineyard. A beautiful cottage, cosy and intimate with everything you need for a perfect stay. The pot bellied stove keeps you fabulously warm. Natashya and Jonathan are perfect hosts.
That we had to leave!

What a fab place, a lovely cottage on a vineyard stocked with lots of local produced goodies for breakfast, with farm animals to feed, a hot tub to soak in and being in the heart of wine country, and not forgetting the friendly hosts we truly wish we had more than 2 nights here.
Having to leave, it was our favourite place we stayed in a 3 week tour of New Zealand
