Good location, just a short walk down to lake & centre, short drive to redwood forest & te puia. Not far to matai mauri village & sky walk but they are on other side of town. Room was clean & spacious (with a spa bath) & we managed to get parking in the shade which was a bonus. Manager really friendly & gave us tips on where to go/ what to see including recommending a beach reserve/lake nearby which was a really great place & could easily spend a day relaxing & swimming in the lake.

No air con, but probably shouldn’t expect it for the price we paid

Excellent Service and great team. Motel is very clean, quiet and great value for money. We’re always in the pass used to stay at Sudima Hotel by the lake and for first time trying something different and it’s unbelievable remarkable stay at Fenton Court Motel especially with our on private spa in back yard. When we go to Roturua from now on we’re definitely will stay at Fenton Court Motel. Highly recommended.

Very clean, quiet, friendly staff and value for the money.

Originally, we planned to stay at the motel for only one night, however, due to some unexpected circumstances, we needed to prolong our visit for a couple of additional days. We cannot express our gratitude to the manager who went above and beyond to make our stay at the motel as comfortable as possible and to help us in these circumstances. So just once again, a huge thank you for everything! In terms of the room itself, it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Fully equipped mini kitchen with microwave, kettle, and all needed utensils. Clean bathroom with toiletries. A nice little private backyard with a hot tub and table with chairs to chill. TV with Netflix available. The motel is located within walking distance of the city centre and some shops. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Room was great and bed was comfortable.

When we booked in the kitchen light was out and hot water was turned off at about 11pm on Sat 30/3 and in the ,morning Sun 31/3 at about 8am the hot water was still off; I had to call the number on our booking for the hot water to be turned on as we need to take a shower and be ready for our meeting at Rotorua at 10:00am; A staff member came in to our room at about 8:10am to check and went away came back in about 5 mins and turned the hot water again and it was working. We have been to many hotels, motels and apartments all over NZ and overseas as well; and this is the first incident of hot water being turned off.

Spacious room, super clean, kitchen to cook, location is great , parking is good, comfortable beds, like most motels in the town might feel bit dated , but carpets look clean and new , and as mentioned before - very clean rooms ! We would stay again for sure

Nothing really , it’s more about not very respectful guests leaving cigarettes butts in the plants :( Wi- fi was not the best , mind it if you need it for work on your trip

Had everything we needed, and unit was very clean, spacious for a family. Had nice 3 seater couch and arm chair in living area. Had private spa, which was a plus for the kids, with working jets. Beds were comfy. Place felt clean. Would definitely stay again.

Had no air conditioning,but unit did have fans supplied, and unit 1, has 2 ranch sliders letting in a nice breeze.

The staff accomidated us with a early check in which we appreciated a lot. Tub jets didn't work but was still very lovely to be able to have a late night soak as they didn't have a cut off time and we appreciated that as a family. Beautifully clean room beautiful beds and couches we will stay here again

Very nice appartment with two separate bedrooms and spacious lounge. All necessary kitchen appliances were available. Heating was also available, which was very appreciated in winter when we visited. We loved manuka bathroom shower gel and soap. And the best of all was big hot tub! So necessary to warm up us after a cold winter day out!

Enjoyed our stay - the receptionist (owners?) were friendly & helpful. The TV had access to Netflix & other movie apps - which was great!

It appeared that our belongings had been looked at i.e. my make up, as when we returned post the cleaning of the room, these items were not where we left them. Didn't notice that anything was missing though.

The bed was absolutely spotless and one of the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. The pillows were excellent quality too.

There was a noise, which seemed to be like someone bouncing a tennis ball against the wall. It might have been the plumbing but I got woken at 02.30. In fairness, I was out all day the next day so didn’t see the staff to tell them.
