Both the property and staff were exceptional. Everything was clean and extremely well maintained with comfortable beds and furnishings. Our apartment was quiet and secure and within close proximity to shops, restaurants and attractions. The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

The only fault was the washer/dryer combo in the unit which made it difficult for families who may have one than one load needed to be done.

Your first greeting at the office makes you feel you have made the right decision. Then on from there you are shown to your room instead of , their's your room number and keys and left to it. The cleanliness of the room and glass and tiles that sparkel back at you , you know time has been spent cleaning not just a quick makeover.little things like, "Enjoy your stay and if their's anything you need ,just sing out. Thats welcoming to me.

Check in was easy with the host taking us to the room and showing us around. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable with bedding warm and cozy. Shower was amazing with so much water pressure and hot water being consistent (have stayed in places where the water goes hot and cold). Kitchen is very well set up allowing us to easily cook meals.

Washer / dryer cycle took HOURS! Separate dryer would be helpful so that you can wash more clothes. Also, a laundry basket to put your clothes in would be helpful.

Staff was very helpful, cheerful, couldn't do enough for you. We asked for coffee, and they ground it fresh for the plunger pot! Unit had spa, which we used one afternoon. Liked full bath with modern shower, as well as half bath ensuite. No problem sharing in the morning. Kitchen was well equipped. TV is cable or satellite with great selection of channels. Unit really clean. Parking right outside your door. No bugs!

We had small rental car so really no problem with slightly tight driveway. But a full sized SUV would need to be a little careful. Agree with comments about TV placement. Not sure why it's at the ceiling.

A city with a fair bit to do, especially when considering the hot springs to visit in the area; there are hot springs in the city too and an aroma which has a reputation but we found it to be overstated. The Studio apartment at Kings on Peace was a fair way from the city centre (we drove) but was spacious, well-planned, well-equipped, with a good kitchen and good laundry facilities, plus a hot tub; parking is right outside the apartment. Friendly and helpful service from the owner too; a good place. VFM at $235pn pretty good too. Rating 9/10 (held back only by the distance to city centre).

Location close to downtown. Very spacious room and very clean. Had all the appointments you would expect and more. Check in will Tristan was very easy and she was very pleasant and professional. We could definitely have stayed another night over leaving for Taupo.

The driveway was a bit narrow for a larger car. Was not clear on the checkout procedure as no one was in the office when we ready to leave. Just left the keys inside.

I loved how cute and modern the apartment was! Both of the beds were soft, sturdy, and delectable, which made for a peaceful sleeping experience that felt like a warm hug. The living room was very spacious—in fact, when my beautiful daughter saw it, she began to frolic through the halls, the lush carpet cushioning her dainty feet like a field of flowers. Unfortunately, though, while my wife and I were trying to sleep, my daughter continued to frolic into the late hours of the night. On another note, the bathroom facilities were simply awe-inspiring. The larger bathroom, which was quite obviously our favorite, looked like that of an elite government officer in a dystopian movie, and by that I mean it was very futuristic and modern. Our favorite part of this sublime room was the shower. In fact, the highlight of my wonderful daughter’s stay was getting to spend precious minutes of her life in this life-changing shower. The lady who worked at this property was also very kind, and told us about all the amazing tourist attractions in the Rotorua area.

The master bathroom sink was very tiny, but this is really minor. The property was great otherwise, and my family and I would highly recommend it! 😊🫶

Wonderful staff member Tristen? My partner & I had unfortunate experience at another hotel & quickly booked in with Kings on Peace for the following night. Early the next morning I ring and tell Tristen about what happened & she immediately offered for us to drop our luggage off to her then (as our room was not ready yet) & carry on with our day. Adding to this, this lovely woman let us check in early before the appointed check-in time. We really felt she went above & beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. A very beautiful and modern unit. Spacious bathroom, huge wet floor shower with amazing pressure. Added bonus was having a 2in1 washing machine/drier. All necessary kitchen appliances (including coffee pod maker) and utensils with a dishwasher drawer. Comfortable bed & bedding and wardrobe for storage and nice to have a big TV to watch instead of squinting 😂. The best surprise though was the two-man spa pool on our own private deck, definitely ended the night right! 110% recommending this to anyone travelling to rotorua.

Welcoming staff. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Comfortable bed and good pillows. Ample cookware and crockery. BBQ was good. Bathroom was large with good washing machine.

Dispensers for soap, shampoo and conditioner and soap tray were at the other end of the large shower area. Difficult to access when using shower as floor was slippery when trying to access them.
