The staff were lovely, welcoming and professional. We arrived late in the evening and they were so kind and helped familiarize us with the facilities etc. The room was tidy, quiet and had plenty of beds and spare blankets for us (2 adults). It wasn't the 'flashiest' place ive stayed at but definitely had everything we needed and was still nice! The bathroom was quite modern compared to the room itself. Almost like it was brand new and it even had underfloor heating! (bonus haha) Overall, would stay here again if needed. Happy with our stay ;D

The only thing I didn't like was...not being able to work the TV haha Its had some kind of 'app' to select a handful of things to watch...However, I do not know if there was an option to watch normal TV channels but this may just come down to my ignorance. This did NOT effect my overall stay at all but it would've been nice to have an easier experience with the TV handling ;D

We liked that we were shown to our room with a very friendly host and the features explained ie TV with good viewing options, electric blankets. Two places to sit outside & enjoy the view. Comfortable bed. Really clean. Good off-street parking. Nice location. Great lighting which you don't often get in motel rooms anymore.

The bathroom might be one of the last ones to be renovated but the spa bath was so nice! Some softer pillows to match the comfortable bed would be great-I love soft pillows!

We traveled from far, communication was awesome, we had kapahaka to attend in rotaz so it was nice for the front desk lady to offer us to drop our belongings and have our room ready for us, she was so massive showed us around we really felt welcomed, when we came back it was awesome our room was warm and the veiw was beautiful, was awesome to just walk in and wine down the spa really topped everything off an the night manager man was really nice to brought us extra blankets and asked if we needed anything, our stay was so comfortable and our kchildren enjoyed watching Netflix ,thank yous so much yous have a awesome team, I feel that other motel staff could learn alot from yous just conversation and welcoming manners thank yous again 😊

Great location. Very clean and tidy. Helpful staff. Well supplied with soap, shampoo, hairdryer (a very good one, without being attached to the wall!) Very little traffic noise Great pillows Great to have heated floor in bathroom, and heated towel rail.

Awkward to watch TV from sofa - wrong angle. Heat pump in bedroom did not send much heat to living area, and the heater provided there was a bit noisy. Bed not as comfortable as some we've slept on!

Clean, tidy, aesthetically appealing, underfloor heating, excellent water pressure in showers, loved the rounded corner glowing mirror in bathroom, plus beautifully tiled. Overlooking Lake Taupo, right by the main road close to the city centre so super accessible to events / shops etc... Plenty of heating options: underfloor heating in bathroom, heat pump, heater, electric blanket for the beds so felt beautifully comfortable and warm despite it being the middle of winter :-) Housekeeping made sure all toiletries were refreshed daily as well as tea/coffee/milk while we were out exploring. Staff were friendly and hospitable, would highly recommend to others

Lovely welcoming staff, gave good recommendation for dinner next door & local markets etc; easy parking. Bathroom looked very new & stylish.. enjoyed underfloor heating! Straight across from lakefront if we'd had more time to walk the beach.

Nothing major, but shower door didn't seal shut very well, so really soaked the bath mat. Had to manoever tv to watch comfortably from couch, but for price the limited lounge/diner space was fine, with all that was needed in there.

Location was close to the Lake , the room was comfortable for two people had everything we needed for a nights stay the beds were comfy with electric blankets and extra blankets heaters etc if needed. The room had a spa bath was very clean and tidy No light through curtains at night quiet and the staff were great. Would highly recommend if going to Taupo.

My elderly sister in law couldn't manage the shower as it was over the spa bath, not a major issue, if we had of stayed longer we may have asked for a room with a separate shower, other than that no complaints at all.

First of all the location is perfect! walking distance to town and the beautiful lake directly across the road. First impressions when I got our key were great!! Instantly felt a down to earth vibe which is what we prefer when on holiday. It felt comfortable. We had room 4 which was perfect for us right at the end. It seemed like it was newly renovated. Nothing outdated and everything one would need. Absolutely loved the unlimited free wifi and Netflix!!! The room is perfect for a small family. The cleanliness was A+ I could literally smell disinfectant when I walked in.. Cameras everywhere making you and your property feel safe. Absolutely loved the spa bath.. The beds we’re comfortable!! plenty of pillows and blankets!!! Basically I can’t rave about this place anymore then I have.. We will definitely be back!! We will tell everyone about you!! Wish I could have said thank you face to face!! Thank you for having us..

Great location, across the road from a great swimming spot at the lake. Place was very clean with a modern bathroom with good shower pressure. Sheets were clean and crisp. Good parking, friendly staff.

Only one pillow each on the bed and were very flat pillows, found one spare in the wardrobe so one person could get 2. Bed was very firm and not so comfy. Couch was also very uncomfortable as it was a pull out sofa. TV is small and far away from couch.

The reception was very welcoming. Our hostess went out of her way to recommend things for us to do in the area. My reservation on booking.com had indicated a 2nd floor room with lake view but the room available was first floor with no lake view. The hostess apologized and later came to offer us a 2nd floor room with lake view for our second night stay.

Parking was tricky. Very tight entry off street and difficult to get into parking spaces.
