Our 2 chalets at 'Golfcourse Road Chalets' were simply magical and so comfortable. Shonna was kind and friendly and the views were simply stunning. Each chalets had 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms and ours on the ground floor had an amazing spa tub. The rooms were spacious, bright, well-equipped and well-ventilated - great large rooms with heaps of space and large windows to bring in the beautiful outside. We just loved the feeling of indulgent breathtaking views, our morning coffee with the mountains nad the mist, the easy access to town centre and ample parking. Memorable stay!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The room and view was beautiful, excellent facilities and very clean and comfortable. We loved that the room was serviced each day, it was such a great surprise when we came back to the room and the room had been serviced. The lovely lady who welcomed us in was so welcoming and nice. We checked out quite early on our last day due the plan to hit the slopes, however needed to come back to change clothes due to the slopes being closed. We were welcomed back into our room with no dramas to change which we were very appreciative of. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay, we will definitely be back ☺️

Very nice stone house and cottages with beautiful view. About 5 to 10 min by car to city center, walk is also possible (about 30 min). Comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Nice and spacious, a little bit of renovating and modernising the furniture would make it absolutely stunning.

A minor, but very uncomfortable thing… the house was literally FULL with insects (mainly mosquitos). Ok, one might expect that in NZ but sleeping in a room full of mosquitos was not a pleasant experience. (And I’m not talking about 2/3 mosquitos… we killed a tenfold by hand and there was still a ceiling full of them!) I would recommend to keep the windows closed during the day (all windows were open) or install mosquito screens. In the morning we found shower and sink in bathroom also filled with them 😱

We had the most amazing time here. From the moment we arrived we felt a sense of rest because of the beauty of the property itself and the general location. The owners were welcoming and friendly, happy for a chat, and the chalet was in great condition with all the amenities we needed and only a few minutes walk to central Wanaka. To top it off, there was a horse outside our front porch during our stay and our daughter loved to visit her and even feed her carrots (with the owners permission).

Spacious apartment, beautifully built with quality finishes throughout. Comfortable bed, oodles of space, well-equipped kitchenette. Clean throughout. Excellent location and quiet room.

Queen bed was really creaky - hard to roll over without making heaps of noise. Exterior lighting was insufficient to use the key (needed a torch) but other units would have been better. Heater was effective but slow (don't expect instant hearing) - probably should have left it on overnight on low rather than just turning it on in the morning. All good otherwise.

- bathroom and toilet are located on the ground floor and the stairs are a little slippery - reception on the TV was quite terrible and channels were limited - no electric blankets on the bed and only one small heater d/stairs

The location was real nice, not on a main road but close to main city area. The entire place is really big with bedroom upstairs and living room + kitchen downstairs. The unit we stayed in lets in a ton of natural light with our parking space really close to the unit. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and was perfect for our stay in Wanaka.

The unit we stayed in was a front facing unit to the parking area so there wasn't a ton of privacy with other guests walking on the pathway right in front of our unit. There are curtains but a shame to have to use them for a place that lets in so much natural light.

Golf Course Road Chalets was like a home away from home. Our room was spacious, warm, clean, comfortable and with a million dollar view overlooking the golf course, lake and mountains. The spa bath was oppulent! Shona and Sandra were superb hosts and couldn't be more welcoming, accommodating and helpful - from tips on where to ski, to eat, to helping us get our car up and running when our battery went dead. We enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast each morning in a warm living area with no pressure to up and out by any time. It was a truly magical experience for us, would recommend the Chalets to anyone who wants quality accommodation during their break away and with breakfast taken care of. We look forward to our next trip back next year.

The chalet was really good, in a beautiful location and close enough to town that we could walk and not have to deal with parking. We didn't use the kitchen for anything other than breakfast, but it was really nice to have that access. Shower was nice and big with good water pressure. Lots of windows in the mezzanine provided stunning views in the morning.

It was difficult to control the temperature of the room as there is only one wall heater working to warm the whole place. Would be good to have the coffees replenished when the room is serviced.

Lovely spacious chalet with peaceful outlook over fields and snow capped ranges. Staff super friendly and helpful. Comfy bed. Serviced daily which was lovely, raced off some mornings to get to Cardrona skifields early, leaving our breakfast dishes and came back at the end of the day to find the dishes had been washed, bed made, fresh towels etc which was a treat. Washing machine was handy for our 9 night stay. Great hot shower with excellent pressure. Overall, we had a great stay and will return.

The one wall heater took a while to get the room warm on the cold winter days and evenings. Then the heat rose and overheated the mezzanine bedroom which stayed a bit hot overnight while the living space below remained a bit cool. Instructions for the washing machine and cooktop would have been helpful. I wasn't sure where to put the washing powder and it took a while to realise there were switches on wall for washing machine and cooktop that needed turned on before they'd work. Light switch for outside light was hard to find as behind a curtain. A sensor light at door of chalet would have been helpful. Seating in living room a bit uncomfortable. But these are all small picky things that didn't really affect our enjoyment of our stay
