We were very lucky to have the penthouse, it was amazing. Lovely and spacious for our four day stay. The beds were really comfortable and the suite was well appointed. The location is perfect so close to Willis Street and Cuba Street. The perfect spot for a weekend away. Definitely will stay again.

We had a wee challenge getting the t.v sorted, couldn't figure out how to watch normal t.v but the daughter had her netflix account to watch. Also the t.v is quite high on the wall which made watching it a bit uncomfortable. The couch isnt practical but really its not that big of a deal considering how fabulously the suite was.

Clean and comfortable motel in quiet location with added bonus of onsite parking. Ideal location for walking into town/harbour front, restaurants on Cuba Street and only 15 mins drive to ferry terminal for sailings to South Island. Good for short term stay (we stayed 2 nights), but might need somewhere with a few more facilities if staying longer. We were on the 4th floor and had excellent views across Wellington towards the harbour.

The decor, fixtures and furnishings in our room were all looking a bit tired and the kitchen facilities were dated - the room (Room 36, 4th floor) would benefit from refurbishment. However, we did note that the room across the corridor appeared to have recently had a facelift and looked much better, so our experience might not be reflective of the motel as a whole. Notwithstanding the comments above, we still enjoyed our stay.

Nice big clean rooms with kitchen and big bathroom. Welcoming staff. Free parking (saves $35-40 a day in Wellington). Location handy for Cuba Street and nightlife and 20 min walk to Te Papa (less to the waterfront).

Is not a criticism of the property but when we went out to get the bus on the first night, appeared to be some drug dealing going on nearby. The car park spaces at the back were heavily lit (curtains were fine so not an issue within the room) for security, but the front glass door was also damaged, so my partner didn’t feel too safe. As a middle-aged male, I was perfectly comfortable there and the location is convenient as mentioned in the positives. So, location is not for everyone, but the accommodation is great and the owners have done as much as they can I think, hence my 9/10

Location was extremely close walking distance from Cuba street and the waterfront / Te Papa. The kitchen and bathroom were both very clean and neat, providing minimal / expected facilities. Staff especially were very helpful and kind, consistently going out of their way to accommodate for us: lending umbrellas during our stay, helping find the most affordable form of taxi transport etc.

There was not much that I did not like, the stay was very good for what we paid. Perhaps the bathroom could have provided some moisturising body lotion, but overall no complaints.

The location was very good: close to Cuba Street and the city centre. Being on top of a low hill, it has a nice city view as its name suggests. Though the room was not too big, it has everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom, besides the comfy double bed. You can also park your car in the hotel’s car park. Staff was very helpful, too. When we told them the refrigerator was not working, they replaced one for us immediately. This is really a good base for you to explore Wellington.

A rare find for commuters to Wellington. A central locaton with an allocated space to park your car! That in itself should be enough to convince people. The location is central: a 5 minute walk and you're in Cuba Street. Central Wellington locations like Parliament buildings can be reached on foot within half an hour. That is time you would spend driving around parking buildings and paying premium prices for the privilege: I will just remind people of point 1 again? Central parking in a secure location for free. People love this location for the ferry and I can see why. The acommodation was roomy for an apartment, with a perfectly adequate kitchenette and fantastic bathroom. It was roomy enough that the four of us weren't tripping over one another. With two teen kids, we appreciated the bedroom offering two single beds or them and we were grateful for the room. Our king bed was very comfortable. The views were amazing. Although the room was older, you could not fault the cleanliness and the condition it was in. It was beautifully presented and spotless. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and we were well taken care of. Thank you.

Small details: the broken glass door was probably not a good introduction to the place. It makes it look rough and is a bit offputting. Also, although I appreciate the smart TVs with the option of using our streaming services, sometimes you don't want to faff about with the tech, scanning QR codes, etc and just want to watch a bit of mindless tele. So easy access to the terrestial channels would be great.

Location to Cuba street and museums. Flat had been renovated to an amazing high standard (this comment based on walking into reception). Bed was very comfortable and spacious, bathroom was amazing. Staff were brilliant as we have found across all our stays in these lovely islands.

Major note to managers. We found the fire doors on the stairwells “wedged” open. Please stop this as if a fire were to happen it would travel up the stairwell. Reception needs new automated doors on the front and the new/old furniture to be stored else where (perhaps in an apartment awaiting refurbishment).

Room was super awesome. Had a great space we booked for two people. There was a small kitchen to make a simple breakfast it was helpful. Receptionist was really lovely and friendly. She gave lots of information around the area like things to do, see. She always smilling when ever she see us and greating. Overall a lovely stay, stress free, home away home. Has free parking it was include to the bill and we were really happy about the safety too.

View was amazing, room was cute, staff were awesome and bed was so comfortable! Location is in a great spot and is walking distance from everything good. They even give you a decent amount of milk! Was quiet and no loud sounds in the night waking us up which meant a peaceful night

The shower pressure was not good at all and needs upgrading as in its current state it's a miserable shower experience. The condiments like hot chocolate and tea would have been nice for options as all we had was coffee.

The property is central to Wellington attractions.Our apartment was very clean,comfortable with sufficient facilities which all worked well.We were on the top floor which gave us a beautifull view of the city.Although there were no electric blankets on the beds,a oil fin heater was very efficient in heating up the apartment beautifully on a wet windy chilly night.The bathroom was modern with s good sized shower and the water flow was very good.

Discovered there was only one tea bag in the container!
