A funky hotel with a great vibe in a fantastic location. Our room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of natural light. The TV was huge and has Netflix and the bed was comfortable. So many great cafes on the doorstep along with a great wee cinema.

We took the upgrade offer to the Blush King room which was a lovely space but not sure what the extra amenities were. We had no tissues, face cloths or robes despite the room photos clearly showing robes and slippers in the wardrobe. First world problems I know. There were however lovely wine glasses and coffee cups but nothing else in the kitchenette. A few plates and a knife would be handy for nibbles. The loo roll holder also needs to be moved to the other wall to stop it getting soaked every time you have a shower.

The decor for this hotel is eclectic and is like living within a work of art. The bed was warm and comfortable. The room was beautiful and colorful. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast included was tasty and satisfying and had a really wide selection variety. The local restaurants were excellent and one Tuesday a month, Liberty restaurant next door does a taster menu well worth it.

I found the instructions for the elevator a little vague. It was only my second hotel stay. I didn't realize I needed to use the key for the elevator or to activate the power in my room. Would have been handy to have that explained. I was sad to find out their restaurant was closed the days I was staying. I didn't find out till arriving at 8pm at night. In saying that, many options were available for delivery.

Our room was beautiful, light, sunny and large. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was great. We were in the Hotel section

The bathroom was very small and not what we expected however it sufficed. The main issue for us, however, with a 4 night stay, was the kitchen in the room. It would be so much better if cutlery, bowls, plates, t towels, a microwave and washing detergent were supplied so you can be more self sufficient. There were kitchen cupboards and a kitchen sink but nothing in the cupboards which meant bringing food in was not really feasible. This is even more of an issue when the restaurant is only open 4 nights a week. We hope this will be considered by the hotel group as we are likely to be back

Absolutely loved the decor of the hotel and the bedrooms! Beautiful, modern, vintage, funky all wrapped up on one, very cool to stay in. Great location right on Cuba Street which is full of bars, shops and resturants. 15min walk down to harbour and Te Papa museum. Staff very friendly and helpful. Love the extra touches in rooms like slippers, bath salts and shower steamer Toiletries. Would recommend and will return!

Breakfast was limited in hot foods and fresh fruit selection, limited seating in resturant. Few issues with checking in on automated Ipads but staff were apologetic and helpful in rectifying.

The hotel is very well located next to Cuba St and some of the classiest and most interesting vibes in Wellington. It's a short (10 minute) walk to the national museum and theatres and to a shuttle pick up point for Zealandia. The hotel has a funky but tasteful colour scheme and is pretty well laid out. It has a small lap pool and a warm spa pool. Staff were friendly and flexible.

There's a design flaw with only one elevator, which is shared by guests and cleaning staff. This can cause delays and must be frustrating for staff, although they handle it gracefully. Breakfast was good although a porridge option would have really added to it. Lastly, we had a fair bit of corridor noise from rowdy guests, and the soundproofing wasn't good enough to keep it out.

Naumi Hotel is a gorgeous, quirky hotel filled with colour and surprise! As you enter the hotel you immediately notice the dark, moody interior and a giant flower in the middle of the reception area. Check-in staff were incredible and there is a free candy bar for all patrons. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Power plugs and USB slots on the bedhead are super practical! Breakfast was delicious and the hotel is located right on Cuba Street where we were spoiled for choice for restaurants and shops. As a side note, my son left my Apple AirPods in our room which I didn't discover until we arrived at our next destination. I emailed the manager Connor who immediately responded saying they had found them. He then proceeded to organise postage of my AirPods back home to Australia. Honesty and customer service 100%.

My pillow was too high, but there is a pillow menu with which you can order a specific height/density of pillow from reception, I simply forgot. Also the lighting in the room was a bit tricky, it was challenging to know which switch operated which lights!

This is hands down the best accommodation I have ever experienced. Reasonable prices for outstanding facilities. An absolute treat for our gals staycation trip, with 2 queen beds for both of us to enjoy a good sleep ( as most hotels provide a queen and single). It is so easy to check in, the staff were so helpful, and the option to have upgrades of early check in/late check out prior to our arrival. The Habitat twin had beautiful decor. You almost didn't want to leave the room! Plus, we made the use of the pool and spa. Although the pool was colder, a makeshift plunge experience and warmed up in the spa.

I couldn't say there was a negative experience at all!

Beautiful and funky building, super nice lobby and bar area downstairs. Generous amenities in the rooms and snacks at the lobby, appreciate the treats! Huge telly to watch in bed, but you're so close to the best local bars and restaurants that there's little need to stay inside. Staff were very friendly and helpful, was able to get into our room a little early on arrival.

Pool is ok but quite Spartan compared to the rest of the flashy decor in the building (and a bit old and tired by comparison). Shower and sink in our bathroom both blasted water onto the floor unless you were very gentle with the taps. Rooms without a view really do not have a view, we looked through our window into other people's apartments. Definitely close the curtains when you change unless you want to put on a show.

We had a very early start the friendly accomodating staff at the front desk gave us an early check which was a 10/10 in itself. We stayed in the hotel part as I believe there are two sides. The room was very spacious, clean , tidy with a King size bed. The art deco feel to the hotel was very cool, and created a fun feel to start the weekend. Unfortunately we didn’t get time to sample the bar in the hotel, however next time we stay we will. Great location short walk (5-20 mins ) or quick Uber to bars, restaurants, shops and waterfront. We had a wonderful stay we will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Nothing to complain about

Fantastic location, friendly/helpful staff, modern decor, large bedroom/beds and modern facilities in the bedroom. The free mini bar was a nice touch. We didn't use the restaurant but the menu looked very nice. We didn't use the swimming pool/spa but checked it out and wish we had brought our swimming gear.

The painting in the bathroom looked a little rushed with paint from the roof being on the tiles as well (not supposed to be). The shower had good water pressure but the design needs improvement as water was leaking out the bottom of the door and not possible to move the shower head away from the door.
