The property was at a perfect location with perfect pricing and had wonderful staff who made us feel special. The Hotel had the right location in that it was walkable from the Town square while away from the bustling crowd and traffic. It also was a pick up location for all the tour operators helping us depart on time. The staff there were absolutely courteous and helpful with good knowledge of English and local requirements. They were ready to help at any time of the day or night with complete support for an extremely early breakfast which was a help for the 4 AM departures. The rooms were very cosy and functional with almost all the amenities that one needed. The Breakfast had a wonderful spread which was not opulent but meeting that special choices of everyone. The chef made wonderful choice of omelettes. Last but not the least, their pick up and drop offers were so very reasonable and they did not take a cut. The lobby and central garden were unique and art work beautifully minimalist. Thanks everyone

I think they could keep a kettle in the room for making tea or coffee when needed.

Excellent buffet breakfast with fresh fruit, fruit juices, cereals, different yogurts, freshly baked breads and eggs cooked to order. Spacious and airy rooms with super comfortable beds. Early check in when we arrived at crack of dawn on an overnight bus. Free upgrade to a suite on the last night, just what we needed to spread things out to pack and then relax with a hot bath. A few blocks from the Plaza de Armas, close enough for an easy walk, but far from the noise, hustle and bustle. Outstanding staff, always ready to help with whatever we needed!

the room didn’t have a window. there was a disco nearby on the weekend, so it was noisy at night. also, you can hear your neighbors

The location was the best part. It was right in downtown Cusco while not right in the middle of it. The place had a sweet quaintnesses about it and rooms were traditional design with all the required comforts. The place was clean and their breakfast was perfect in every way. The staff and their smiling and helpful attitude were what actually made a difference. They were helpful all the way and made hot water to drink every time we needed it. Really sweet staff. Lastly, the value for money aspect was just perfect.

They could have provided a coffee maker in the room

Friendly and helpful English speaking reception staff who are available 24/7. Breakfast varied each day with a good variety of hot, cold food items and fresh fruits. Room matched photos and description and beds were comfortable. There was always hot water when showering and good water pressure. Consistent Wi-Fi in rooms. Hotel offered luggage storage if needed. Location was on a quiet street within 10 - 15 walk to Plaza Mayor de Cuzco. Overall, this hotel offered good value for a comfortable stay with excellent customer service from reception.

Unfortunately, for light/sensitive sleepers you may hear possible noise from outside the rooms (from other guests in courtyard/leaving their room and stray dogs barking). In one of the twins room there was a loose wall socket.

Breakfast was simple but good. Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Only 10 minutes from Plaza de Armas and easy hotel pickup for tour buses.

The rooms are not centrally heated, but a space heater is provided. The immediate neighborhood around the hotel appears bare and without much activities, giving it a more "industrial feel". In contrast, the Tierra Viva San Blas is in a more vibrant neighborhood with several restaurants and coffee shops nearby, but one has to deal with the narrow streets and uphill walk which can be tiring if not acclimatized to altitude.

We had a great stay there. The bed was very comfortable, shower had hot water, good wifi connection and breakfast. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. There is a very cheap laundry across the road so we got lots of washing done!

The room we stayed had a high ceiling and the window at the top had no curtains or blinds, this made the room bright during the day. It’s a 10min walk to the main square so its worth staying there if you want a quiet place. I thought it was a bit pricey for what you get, but we had a good stay so we can’t complain!

I booked a different hotel initially but good decision to change to Tierra Viva Saphi!! This hotel is at a quieter area but still very close to town. 5-10 mins straight walk. Buses stop at the same street, so it was very easy for me to walk to my hotel after my open tour in Cusco Staff are lovely and very helpful and attentive. They did not charge me for early check in when i arrived at 6am! There were always two bottles of water everyday - free of charge! Works well for me since i am a heavy water drinker hehe Room and bed were massive. Bathroom is so nice and clean. Very soft and comfy pillows and blankets <3 Breakfast menu is changing every day Tea is free for everyone There were also some umbrellas in the reception for everyone to use if they require

I wish they can refill the hot foods (when finished) more quickly. Because I noticed that after 6-7pm, the breakfast area is quieter, so there were some cases were hot foods were not being re-filled quickly enough. but breakfast is still fine! staff is lovely. just an observation :)

Modern and nicely decorated hotel with walkable distance to main square. Room is clean and big. Friendly staff and flexible service. In particular, they provided us with packed breakfast when we need to leave early.

Very impressive with overall experience. The only thing that I’m unhappy about is they didn’t post my postcards. I paid 30 soles to the reception before I left and was told they will WhatsApp me as soon as they mailed it. It has been 3 weeks, messaged them, read but no response.

Large room, nice warm shower with helpful staff, very clean, easy walking distance to the main square and no difficulty with being picked up/dropped off for our tourist activities.

Smelled like cigarette smoke in our room in a nonsmoking room, asked to be changed to a different room and the room was only aired out instead of moving rooms. Could use porcelain cups instead of disposable for tea in the front room, seemed very wasteful
