Great location… In the heart of Makati, which is heart of Manila . Everything is near to you, shopping malls, restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. There is a nice small cafe UCC, just cross the road. It is opened until late time . Hotel itself is new, not overused, clean and all facilities are working very well. Staff members are amazing peoples ♥️♥️♥️♥️ they are supportive all the time . All requests are done in very short time. Food in room service is very good. The pizza is great. Gym is working 24 hrs 😃😃 it is new and all machines are new and great. Swimming pool in open air , it is very clean.

Breakfast is very good but Pork items are so much , however, Halal items not that much!!! There are a lot of Arab and Muslim guests, so I believe that, you should add more Halal items. Generally, we love our stay in the hotel , but the price is a little bit high comparing to other hotels in Makati.

Fairmont Hotel Makati: Truly an exceptional stay! The staff greeted us with such warmth and professionalism from the moment we arrived. Our visit from August 23rd to 27th couldn’t have been better. Every interaction, from the front desk and concierge to housekeeping, was handled with professionalism and genuine care. The staff in each department went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. For anyone looking for a hotel that ticks all the boxes—cleanliness, great service, and a friendly vibe—this is the place. Plus, the lobby smells incredible. It’s like stepping into a spa every time you walk in!

All the staffs are amazing. Exceptional people skills. The room is clean and spacious.

1. The hotel vicinity has no easy access for people bound in wheelchair. I have to take my mum to the driveway leading to the hotel since there’s no ramp on the walk path. 2. The holding amount is ridiculous. Apart from the fact that it’s actually doubled the amount of the total cost of my stay. I was expecting that the total cost of my stay will be deducted from that holding amount. However, this didn’t happen. They charged my room on a separate transaction. So now, 5 days later, the holding amount is still pending and hasn’t been released yet. I’m very disappointed and this kind of process is appalling!

This is a deluxe hotel with five star services throughout from check-in, to pool service, to laundry to room cleaning. Elegant spacious rooms and bathrooms are a delight. The buffet breakfast at Spectrum is outstanding and very good value - in addition to all the international favourites and a range of Asian options, there is a wonderful choice of Filipino dishes and pastries which the staff are only to happy to guide you through. As one might expect, the fruit is wonderfully varied and of the highest quality. The location of the hotel adjacent to several malls and, in particular, Greenbelt means that there are a wide range of both stylish formal and casual dining options on the doorstep. I’d also recommend the Ayala Museum nearby for those with a few hours to spare and an interest in Filipino history and culture. The Salcedo Saturday market is a fun activity on a Saturday morning and an easy walk from the hotel. All the staff are delightful and eager to please : I’d particularly commend Alyssa at front desk and Jullian at the Concierge for really going the extra mile to make my stay smooth and enjoyable.

The entrance lobby and sitting area felt a little over-crowded at times

Most of the staff were amazing, including those in Raffles, but there was an issue of not being able to wear open-toed footwear (mens' sandals/flip-flops) that we were not made aware of, so that was embarrassing.

Experience at Cafe Macaron for breakfast was not very good. Long story, but they really need to "up their game" compared to pre-pandemic service. Food was great when it came, but they dumped everything on our table all at once and there was no room for 50% of it. This is a bit of a problem across Manila service scenarios where the staff are not allowed to "think" and just follow a "process', which is clearly flawed.

I was impressed by the service... - good food at the lounge too

The hotel facilities are amazing! The gym is big and well equipped. The spa and pool are very relaxing areas and are very clean and well maintained. What I appreciate the most apart from the amazing service from everyone is the available vegan menu for the in room dining and the Mirèio restaurant. No single use packaging and sustainable practices.

I didn’t like the fact that you can’t not ware sport attire on Saturday’s and Sundays for breakfast! I was denied the entrance because I was wearing sports shorts after my gym session on Saturday morning , but the rule only applied for me as I saw other guests wearing short.

Everything about our stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived, to the second we left, we were made to feel welcome. The staff always greeted you with a smile and greeting, always. In particular, Geraldine on reception was wonderful. The breakfast was buffet style and catered for all nationalities. There was a rich variety of all foods and you could request additional items, like eggs, cooked to you own preference. The room was very well appointed and was serviced daily. The turn down service of an evening was particularly nice. We stayed in 823 and were most satisfied with the comfort, cleanliness and facilities.

There was nothing we didn’t like at all. It met and exceeded our expectations.

Staff was wonderful, from Trixie at check in to Rico at the concierge to Anna at check out — service was lovely. Rooms were very clean and spacious, gym was great. Raffles pool was nice, though smaller and shallower than anticipated. Macaron Cafe coffee was delightful. Location couldn’t have been better for what we needed.

Signs of age are definitely catching up to the Fairmont — aromatherapy humidifiers in the hallways will only cover the smell of older carpets for so long.

The greeting of the staff was exceptional. I really enjoyed the property, the safety of the location. The dining options were also good.

Pool area is quite small, not enough lounge chairs. To get in the pool is not convenient at all, being told I should jump up on the side was a bit of a surprise. The pool attendants were not so attentive, but it was ok.
