this property the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a great location right across the street from a major shopping center.  the shopping center has so many restaurants to choose from. Train and bus station where three minute walk.  Old town was a five minute walk.  12 to 15 minute walk to the castle and the river.  very good breakfast buffet some thing for everyone.

there really wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property checked all the boxes.

The rooms were clean, very beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the entire building is taken care of very well. The attached restaurant is great, too!

The shower had a milk-glass wall towards the bed, which i personally enjoyed, but didn't book. Could be a problem for business and family travellers.

Excellent location. Across the street from the mall/train station and a very short walk to old town (it’s just outside of the old city walls). Excellent breakfast and the restaurant is also a nice option for dinner if you are tired after a day of site-seeing—a lot of options and reasonably priced. Spacious rooms with comfy beds. Small but adequate gym which includes a rowing machine (most hotel gyms do not have one and I was pleased to see it). Free pretzel on departure!

This is a minor complaint—The only thing I didn’t like was the chairs in the breakfast area are very low….sitting at the tables I felt like I could hardly reach my meal!

Staff very welcoming and helpful. we were in a very early tour and they made us up a substantial food bag each. we asked for more bottled water and towels and these were immediately delivered. fantastic location. we got the train from the airport to the station right opposite. we also travelled from there main bus station which is also a 10 min walk. very clean and quiet.

charged my card 400PLN which is about £80 on arrival. was told this would be refunded if not used against mini bar, dinner etc. we left hotel a week ago and still not refunded. contacted hotel who replied that refund can take up to 10 working days. I had to transfer more funds from bank account as the £80 was part of our holiday budget. other thank this issue everything was perfect.

Hotel was in a central location for all areas, everything within a 20 minute walk, but tram 2 minutes away (No 3 to Jewish Quarter) and just opposite the main station (which was great for our ongoing trip to Warsaw). Spacious, modern rooms equipped with mini fridge, iron, hairdryer and safe. Really quiet hotel, no outside noise and never really heard other guests. Breakfast was fab, staff super helpful with excellent English.

My only gripe would be the bathroom - perspex type wall which meant the whole room lit up in the middle of the night so no discreet little toilet trips permissible. And perhaps a few more English tv channels (or Smart tv) to keep the kids occupied- but found this nifty button on the controller that allowed dubbed films / some programmes to revert to original language. Everyone happy

The comfy bed, the proximity to the Krakowska Mall.

We had an issue with the brakfest that was meant to be for Sunday, but booked incorrectly by staff. When we came to the brakfest on Sunday we had to discuss the issue and it took a long time and we were in a hurry. Also one day we came back with the small luggages we took for shopping and one of the receptionist followed us to the elevator. Felt like we were tracked, an unpleasant experience.

This Mercure was excellent value for money! The location is central, only a short hop away from the central market square, and a perfect jump off to explore the rest of Krakow. The hotel is very clean and well kept with a modern aesthetic that does not lack soul like some other modern takes. The staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are cosy, well-furnished and brand new. Breakfast was a cooked and continental with a decent but not extensive selection., although the omelette station was a nice bonus!

Towels were of a fairly poor quality. AC unit made the room quite stuffy at times.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The location couldn't be more perfect-right in the heart of everything. It's just a short walk to the Old Town and the Christmas market, with a large mall and the train station conveniently located right across the street. The hotel itself is cozy, impeccably clean, and offers a delicious breakfast that we enjoyed every morning. A special mention goes to Natalya, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From day one, she was incredibly kind, helpful, and provided us with all the information we needed to explore the area effortlessly. Her warm hospitality truly stood out and made a lasting impression.

NOTHING! MAYBE the price would indeed be on the pricier side, however for the location and what's included in the price/night it's well worth it.
