The room was very big and the terrace is a wonder bonus point with an ocean view. The pool and jacuzzi are also nice bonuses to this hotel. The personnel was nice. Very good breakfast.

It seems like for such a big hotel they are lacking a bit of stuff. The gym was not functional. The cleaning lady once came at 9 a.m when we were still sleeping, so since we said no for cleaning at that time, the room was not cleaned during the day at all.

Every room has an amazing ocean view, as well as the rooftop of course. All common areas of this large hotel have beautiful marble. A generous breakfast is included! Linens and towels are good quality. Excellent value in low season. (Not sure what they charge in high season).

If having a double or queen bed is important, you need to pay for an upgrade. Otherwise, two single beds are pushed together…but they are very comfortable. Also, there is no coffee maker in the room. The curtains need to be retrofitted. (Because the ceiling is so high, the current system results in the curtains partially coming off the rods.)

Great location with nice views. Breakfast was superb. Most of staff were very friendly, while a few were disgruntled.

We were suppose to get a junior suite with our Bookings reservation, but we received a regular room, which was stark… bits of furniture here and there. We wouldn’t have complained but the shower was leaking all over wc. And drapes in main room were missing hooks, so impossible to close properly, letting in a lot of light at night. Anyway we complained and we got UPGRADED to a beautiful suite. (Maybe the one we were originally suppose to have).

Great localization, the room was quite big, and bathroom had both bathtub and shower! Also staff was always really nice and helpful. With brekfast included the value for money was amazing.

The Hotel sure could use some improvements. For example there was only one elevator working during our stay but we were on vacation and we weren’t really bother by that.

The view was breathtaking, and we could see the various yachts coming in and out. Although it was construction going on in the harbour, the views of the ocean and landscape took your breath away. It was scenic and breathtaking. The rooms (2) were spotless, and had the usual amenities. This is our first time staying here, but it won't be our last. Our breakfast had so much variety to choose from, and the many hot dishes, fruit, juices and of course the various breads were so well arranged. What a beautiful buffet, and we all enjoyed it. The location could not have been better, as we only had a ten minute walk to the Shopping district. The hotel is set high on a hill, and the walk to and from the hotel enabled us to have and enjoy the many views. The staff had gone out of their way to see that we were satisfied with our rooms. In fact, when we arrived their was a mix up with how many beds we had. The receptionist quickly sorted it out, and apologised for not having the extra bed made upon our arrival. To be honest, it was our fault, and we stated we had one child instead of two. Nevertheless I was extremely impressed as to how quickly our problem with the bed had been resolved. To be honest, the only thing I did not like, and that was I wished that I had more time to spend at the Angra Marina. Terceira is a great city, and our planning to return next year, will be with more time to do so. What a lovely hotel, and the Staff are Super. Thank You!

Good selection of breakfast, nice spacious rooms.

I wish the property would allow earlier check in, we arrived a bit earlier, not much, but they didn’t want it to do it not even 1 minute before. I understand the policy, so that’s fine, but if you need to check in earlier, try to arrange it with them in advance.

The Person at the reception when we arrived, was just extremely helpful and kind. We had booked another accomodation that just never answered to us (and of course, i can't leave a comment on this accomodation....) and we had to reserve after midnight, arrive after 1 am... We didn't have the time to use the Pool and so but i am sure that it's a lot of fun. Room was really clean. The AC quite complicated to turn off (or to use, for that matter). View on the Port, beautiful of course. The plus: the people working there. Thank you!

The pool temperature could have been warmer. Seems a bit understaffed but this might be an economical decision for the off season. Having been in some incredible 5 star hotels, there could be more room products: ex. Toothbrush, razor etc. Spa wasn’t working. It should be.

Very spacious room, with spectacular view from balcony. Bathroom was modern and clean, with both bath and separate shower. Check in was nice and easy. Hotel was furnished nicely. General vibe and atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. Lots of free local parking on street available.

Only one pillow available per person. Air conditioning was difficult to use in our room. Although minor, there were no light switches in the room, all done by remote control, which was snazzy but not practical. Breakfast was okay.

Our room was HUGE! It was very comfortable and it was so nice to have two separate bathrooms. The bathtub overlooking the marina was very luxurious. The staff were very lovely and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very filling and had a good variety of options. Great location, close to the main sights. This place isn't a 5 star hotel by far but it's excellent value for the price you pay.

The staff could have done a more efficient job of refilling the different food stations at breakfast, you could see they were overwhelmed.
