The buffet breakfast was superb. There was a wide variety of foods, for both he European and American palates. The space was elegantly decorated, and the space very comfortable with a feeling of relaxed refinement. I took lots of photos; see the photos attached to this review. The location was excellent, centrally located, convenient, and, when the construction completes across the way, immediately adjacent to a beautiful park; the Moliceiro's location will be the envy of many hotels in Aveiro. The room was very elegant with real wood paneling, a very comfortable bed, and ample closet space (see photos). Also, an important point is that the safe is large enough to fit a large laptop and other things such as notebooks, passports, cash, etc. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Diana and Domingos speak very very good English. And they were extremely helpful in calling taxis for me, telling the taxi exactly where to meet me, recommending restaurants, places to go, and many other things. I had to ship a large suitcase back to the US. I use a service called MyBaggage.com. This time there was a minor hitch with the local company who was assigned to pick up the baggage to be shipped. The Moliceiro front desk staff followed up with me, even calling me after I had departed for Italy to ensure that they kept me apprised of the pick up status and when confirming that the suitcase had been picked up.

I really have no complaints except one. The shower had a glass pane that swiveled on hinges (instead of doors or a shower curtain). This is very prevalent in Europe. The problem is that most European hotels do not put a "sweep" at the bottom, so, no matter how hard one tries, water leaks onto the floor as it runs down the glass. The rooms have beautiful tile floors, but they are dangerously slippery when wet. A simple plastic "sweep" slid onto the bottom of the glass would solve this problem.

The staff was very friendly, super receptive to kids and readily available to help. The room itself was spacious, great natural light, the bed was perfect size and the breakfast was superb! There is also a children’s playground and greenery right in front of the hotel which was convenient.

The fact that it has no parking was a struggle with a baby but we did go on a busy weekend. The positive side is street parking is free on weekends so we did find parking eventually.

Location was perfect, everything we needed was in walking distance. Breakfast was outstanding, food was great, and the atmosphere of the breakfast buffet was excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location and their friendly helpful reception staff. He was very helpful to guide me to buy a parking pass online to park in the new underground carpark in front of hotel. Very comfy room that overlooks the busy streets and river. We also got good recommendations on where to have dinner. Breakfast buffet is a good spread to sample popular local desserts.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful! The breakfast room elegant, evening piano music in the bar and attentive staff. Our room overlooked the canal which was full of activity. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and park areas. We would definitely stay here again!

It is such a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Breakfast is consistently well presented with a variety of choice. Staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to offer the best service. Rooms are clean, luxurious and so many lovely little complimentary touches.

The room is spacious and the bed very good. The decor is a little "over the top", but does not interfere with the experience. It matches the hotel atmosfere as a whole. We had an excellent breakfast there... Location in heart of the city could not be better.

The street where the hotel is located is closed due to construction being made in front of the hotel, so we had to figure out how to get it. Not that difficult... stopped as close as possible, walked a few meters and the receptionist went there to open the chain that was closing the street. Our car stayed parked in front of the hotel after that.

Staff were very welcoming. Lovely room with outlook over canal. Quiet but convenient position. Close to bars, restaurants and bus stop. Breakfast was good with sparkling wine. Excellent bar and shame more people didn't use it!

The size of the room was excellent, wide and comfortable. Very clean. Quite and intimate. The service was professional and kind. The receptionist noticed that it is my birthday and granted me with free drinks.

Breakfast wasn’t the best. Not rich of choices, Didn’t like the taste of the coffee. The service was great.

This hotel has a great location located off of one of the canals. They are renovating the park on the side of the hotel but don't start work until 7:30 8:00. It was not a distraction. The rooms are nice of good size. The bathrooms are nice and the beds comfortable. Breakfast is also very good. I think it's a good value and recommend it what didn't we like about

The parking is limited so if you're driving call ahead and see if you can get one of the five spaces in front of the hotel. Otherwise you're going to have to walk from a parking area.
