It was our first time in Lisbon and the hotel helped make the trip an enjoyable one! We loved everything about our stay with Figueira Spa hotel. We had a free upgrade which we didn't know about until we entered our room. This review is by no means because of the free upgrade. It is an honest review of our stay. The Staff: The staff were ever so helpful, kind and full of recommendations when asked. From the front office team to the restaurant/bar, we enjoyed interactions with them. Thank you to the young gentleman who checked us in, to the young man who was at the front office during our stay and to the lovely young woman who checked us out! The hotel & Room It is tastefully designed and decorated. The room and shared places was clean. I especially liked the design of the sink in the shared bathrooms. It is designed like a fig in keeping with the hotel overall theme. Our upgraded room looked out into the centre of Praca da Figueira. What a lovely view to see first thing at dawn. Simply breath-taking! The hotel room shower is big with great products. They also provided some snacks in the fridge and water. These was free of charge including the slippers and the robe if you wanted to use it. The room was spacious and lots of places to store luggage etc. Thank you for the upgrade! It was very appreciated! Location Location is 10/10 for first timers to Lisbon. Most of the sights are walking distance. It is about 5 mins walk to Elevator Santa Justa and 10 mins walk to Praca Do Comericio. There is also a lovely bakery just 3 steps away that sell one of the best Pastel De Nata. If you wanted to venture out to Belem Tower, the tramp stop is less than 1 min walk. The hotel location is convenient. There are a lot of restaurants near the hotel and a pharmacy less than 1 min walk. Time out market is around 8 mins walk. If you're a first timer in Lisbon, this hotel is definitely for you :)

Beautiful location, close to restaurants and bars and walking distance to beautiful places in Lisbon. The hotel staff was super friendly, the beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed our time there. We booked without breakfast but had some drinks at the restaurant / bar - good service and delicious drinks :) Would definitely choose this hotel again if we come back to Lisbon! Also the design was so beautiful.

Nothing, everything was really perfect

Pretty much everything about the hotel was excellent, especially the location, the breakfast and friendly staff. The quirky rooms were great, with a large, comfy bed, power shower, and a great view over the square. Would definitely want to stay again. Lisbon is an incredible city.

Toilet a bit squashed. Shower door didn't quite close properly. Flatter pillows needed too - prob should have asked but only there 2 nights. I'm being picky as it really was an excellent room overall.

My goodness....best hotel by far. I loved the hospitality, the free gift i got in my room...the services, the large enough size of the room, free drinks in my room...new and clean beddings and sheets, proximity to everywhere. I have already recommended to a friend and will surely comeback!!

Mayb option of fried eggs on the breakfast menu. Mind u i didnt ask, so not sure

The breakfast was tasty and made of quality ingredients. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the room had many details such as electric curtains. The location is the best possible. All restaurants and shops nearby and a short distance to the metro station.

We happened to have a bad choice for a room. The bed was placed at the back of the room so I had to climb over my friend to get to the bed.. not a very practical solution if you have mobility issues. The other rooms seemed to have normal beds so we were unlucky. If you have a perfume allergy, don't come here. The corridors smelled of a very strong perfume that would definitely cause asthmatics to have shortness of breath.

the hotel is beautiful and cozy, clean and neat. the staff is nice and helpful and discrete. we really appreciated the beauty products in the bathroom and the drinkable water always at our disposal in the room. the location is perfect, the hotel is situated in the city center near Rossio square. you can reach praca do comercio by a 5 minutes walk and you have the metro in figueria square. also the tram stop to belem is near the hotel. for us it was the perfect spot, we highly recommend it!

Location: Excellent. The hotel in the very significantly central point where the accessibility to the public transportation network is very adequate. Also, it's within walking distance of major points of interest, as well as dining and shopping areas. The towels and sheets were clean. Hotel personnel was helpful. The breakfast was adequate. Airport transfer that we have booked via the hotel was highly helpful and it facilitated our arrival/departure.

We arrived around 11 PM, after a long flight. Due to the time difference, the fee ling was 2 AM for us: Having to pay the tax fee right at the entrance was quite tiring after the travel. It could be more helpful to understand what is it and pay the next day.

Location was excellent... and even though very central there was no noise - so great throughout. Beds were super super comfy and rooms clean.

The decor was odd... not sure what the thought process for that was. Dark interiors with random features that seemed confusing. The bathroom door has no handle but door is found by sliding a wall that is like a mirror (imagine how scared I was trying to go to bathroom at night and seeing my reflection) . There is also no toilet paper holder (?) which I found to be super odd - and no bidet (but that may not be expected in Portugal? I don't know).

Very friendly staff, decent sized room, excellent location with everything within walking distance. Surprisingly good sound proofing of the windows considering it's a really old building. Good breakfast buffet.

When you take a closer look the hotel could definitely benefit from refurbishment as there were scratches in the wallpaper/plastering, the door of the shower wouldn't properly close etc. The other thing we didn't like as much was that the walls separating the rooms were pretty thin so when our room neighbours got home late and started chatting we heard pretty much everything.

The location was great to be able to walk around the old town. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was super clean and with a nice design. I appreciated the blinds and curtains that could be closed electronically. The breakfast was very good, too.
