The Luster is a small, modern hotel with high standards. The comfort, cleanliness and welcome were second to none. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a good district of the city, slightly out of the busy tourist centre, but with shops, bars and some nice restaurants just around the corner. A Metro station is 100m away which gives easy access to the airport, town and mainline station. This is great place to discover Lisbon from, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location was great! There is bus station and metro station right next to hotel. Also 2 minutes away there are grocery shop and big mall that has everything. The hotel itself is beautiful and new. It had very nice spa: hamam, sauna and swimming pool. Gym is small but it has new technogym equipments. Me and my husband really enjoyed breakfasts they served. It was very delicious and had many options: buffet and ala cart, fruits, cereals, eggs, vegetables, cheese, meat, pastries! My husband said that the hotel offered the most delicious croissants and bread in Lisbon. Also, people at the reception are very nice, they recommended to visit Sintra and Sintra is wonderful city full of magnificent views Overall, we loved our stay there. One of the best choices to stay there and explore Lisbon

This hotel is a perfect example of city hotels. It is located near Duque da Saldenha monument, which is a great district with metro station (it is called Saldahna) and lots of shops around. It is also not far from airport, like 15 minutes by taxi or so. The staff of the hotel are all really nice, cute and professional people. There are always valet person in the lobby, which will help with luggage and orient you with the hotel. And also this person calls the elevator for you even before you enter the lobby, which is so cool, that I felt like most important person in the world. During the breakfast personnel works very fast and operatively, they can get you your drinks or waffles in like 5 minutes. And by the way, every staff member speaks English perfectly. Also breakfast is really good and tasty with fresh fruits, juices and bakery. You can also find Pastel-de-nata here. We got 2-floor room on the last 9th stage with street view. I recommend to get a street view room, because as I said, the area around the hotel is really nice with beautiful boulevard and high buildings in portugal style. On the first floor of the room is the big TV and a couch, there is also one extra bath room. On the second floor there is a huge bed, which was very comfortable. Both bathrooms has "tropical shower" type of shower, which is awesome and also there are very technological toilets with bidet and seat warming. The cleaning is good, but you need to remember, that after certain time, like after 16 or so there will be no cleaning by default, only in the morning. There are also 2 pools inside this hotel. We have not tried indoor one, but tried outdoor. This is a really cool cozy space with small pool and bar. Although it is located on 3rd floor and there are lots of high building there is still sunny here and you can get your tan done. This pool is also very well isolated from outer world by nice hedge wall with colourful plants and flowers.

The building is cheerful and bright. A very nice dining area with very good breakfast options. A lobby had complimentary refreshments through the day which was a nice touch. We didn’t use the pool or spa areas but they looked attractive. The most important thing was that the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our two week stay. I stayed with my very elderly mother and they could not have tried harder to please us. The location near shops and cafes was not touristy which we prefer and within very easy reach of the more picturesque areas.

I’m afraid that the thing we disliked the most is not easy to change. The modern design of the large panel windows in the rooms which do not open made us feel quite claustrophobic. We both like fresh air and didn’t know how to get it to flow without turning the aircon on…

From arrival until we left we loved it! We stayed for two nights with our daughters. Upon arrival they went out of their way to arrange for joining rooms. Then they gave little goody bags for kids in the room. Thank you to the very attentive staff 🙏🏻 Furthermore the rooms are very spacious, clean and well thought through. We also loved the amenities by Clarins! Breakfast is just what you need before hitting the streets. And when you get back af the hotel there is free coffee and tea and some snacks, so nice!

We had rooms on the street side. City view they call it. It was too noisy for my taste.. you can hear every car passing by. If does more quiet during the night. In the evening we could smell the food from the kitchen.

The 24/7 reception area is a great convenience, providing free coffee, tea, milk, juice, and snacks around the clock.

While the hotel excels in many areas, there are a few aspects that could benefit from improvement. The breakfast service would be more efficient if tables were cleared and reset more promptly, as this would enhance the dining experience. In the spa area, maintaining cleanliness and organization could be improved. Implementing bins for used towels and clearly marking available beds would address current issues and ensure a more enjoyable experience for all guests. Despite these areas for enhancement, the hotel remains a stylish and comfortable choice for visitors.

We loved this hotel! We were welcomed with a cool drink and damp towel, and our bags were taken up to our room. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a huge amount of choice and a brilliant quality, and we had the club sandwich from the menu which was also generously sized for €16. The pools and sauna and steam room were all exceptionally clean and quiet and relaxing. The room was a great size and we loved the sliding doors! The rating felt more like a 4+ star hotel to us, and the location was only a 15 minute metro ride to the heart of the city, and it was always buzzing with activity due to being in a business area so it felt very safe. Don't hesitate to book, you won't be disappointed!!

On arrival we were offered ice tea, a pastry and a cold towel which was unexpected but so welcome and a lovely surprise. There was coffee and pastries in reception which could be taken at any time, this was a nice touch. The outdoor pool/bar was nice, we also made use of the indoor pool/sauna/steam room. Although the pools are small, this didn't matter as the hotel was quiet for August. Breakfast was nice with hot and cold options and you could also order from a menu, the waffle was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly. Room was comfortable and we were kindly upgraded on arrival. The hotel is also close to a metro station which was incredibly convenient, although it was also easy to walk to places and Uber's were cheap. There is a shopping centre nearby with a food court too.

This hotel is fairly new so modern and fresh looking. The staff were exceptional, all very friendly and super helpful. If I needed something it was quickly attended to. What made it special was the added extras: Free coffee, cake and water for you to help yourself in the lobby, a Nespresso coffee machine in the room and a delivery of chocolates each day. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The pool area was limited for sunshine as the hotel was positioned next to tall buildings. I planned my day around this so it would not put me off from staying in this hotel again.

Absolutely loved this hotel, we were meant to be staying nearer Baixa but we found this one and for not much more it had breakfast included & a pool. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful at all times, particularly the barman by the pool. The vibe & design were beautiful, the pool was such a welcome extra. Yes the location is slightly further inland but it’s so easy & inexpensive to get around by Bolt it made no difference.

Breakfast could have been replenished a little more frequently and the pool area ended up in shade from about 2pm which was a little cold but absolutely not something they can do anything about! Maybe a few more sunbeds instead of the seating area in the pool terrace?
