First, the staff is exceptional. From the time we checked in until the time we left we were treated like royalty. I have never had a hotel experience like this one and it will be hard to find another. I was celebrating my 65th birthday and was treated with a bottle of champagne, chocolates, coconut cookie bites and a bottle of port wine. Over the top. The front desk staff made it a point to get to know their guests. They were always friendly and ensured all our needs were met. The same can be said of the breakfast staff. Each morning we were greeted cheerfully by the hostess and again she made sure we were getting everything we needed or would go the extra mile to meet those needs. She even remembered our breakfast choices from previous days. We looked forward to the delicious breakfast and service in the dining room each morning. Great way to start our daily activities. Upon leaving, the front desk booked our transfer and ensured our safe departure. The hotel is modern and clean. The fragrance they use in the common areas is calming and spa-like. The attention to details adds so much quality to this boutique hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect. Out the door and around the corner to catch Tram 38 or within walking distance of so much of central Lisbon. Restaurants, shopping, museums, everything is close by. The experience at this hotel has set the bar for my future travels. Again, we are most appreciative of the staff and the care we received.

The only thing we had issue with at the hotel was the tub/shower combo. It was quite high and a challenge for us to get in and out of safely. There is a grab bar and we just had to be cautious not to slip or fall on our way in/out. Also, there is a door stop in front of the toilet that kept the door from hitting the toilet. We tripped on this stop several times when the door was closed. It is in an awkward place - but can't see how it could be remedied.

Every single thing was at the very best. The hotel is very nice. The staff professional and friendly, always willing to help. The room was excellent, clean and very well designed. Very well positioned, near the metro and other public transport stations. Also near the major attractions.

The breakfast was delicious. The only thing a bit “interesting” was that you needed to order what you wanted, that is ok due to costs savings, but it was a bit difficult to order one glass of water and another one and so on, same with the orange juice. In others words it took some time to have another glass of water when it was full. I would suggest to leave the opportunity for the guests to take there on water or juice.

Location absolutely brilliant on a quiet side street but 2 minutes walk to the square with all transport links. Large supermarket on the same block too. Breakfast was very good, good choice & staff extremely helpful. Everything is served to your table. Breakfast very busy at peak time, but no different to other hotels at peak time. Reception staff extremely helpful too & they remembered my special request made at booking months before, so they’d obviously checked our booking. Very clean & comfortable & with a lovely boutique vibe inside. Wooden interior shutters help to block out the light & add to soundproofing from the double glazing. Liked the TV incorporated into the giant mirror in the room. The staff delivered a welcome gift & a leaving gift to our room. Lovely, local food & drinks. Such a nice touch!

Difficult to think as everything was so good! We would have liked a kettle for hot drinks in our room, but think this must only be available in more expensive rooms or suites. I also requested sensitive skin bedding/towels due to allergies, but the hotel laundry didn’t appear to have any suitable detergents. The staff did remember though, & told me at check in that they had requested non fragranced detergents. Some hotels now use all anti allergy detergents due to the increasing number of people with similar allergies.

The Portugal Boutique Hotel is a stylish and centrally located hotel in Lisbon. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bathrooms are huge. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent (and not a buffet!). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon The hotel is located in the heart of Lisbon, just a short walk from Rossio Square, the São Jorge Castle, and the Tagus River. The rooms are all individually decorated and spacious, with some even having balconies with city views. The bathrooms are also very spacious and come with bathtubs and showers. The staff at the Portugal Boutique Hotel are some of the friendliest and most helpful I've encountered. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast is served in a bright and airy room and includes a variety of Portuguese and international dishes. There is also a good selection of coffee and tea. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Portugal Boutique Hotel. It is a great choice for anyone looking for a stylish and centrally located hotel in Lisbon.

For a city centre hotel the Portugal Boutique Hotel was modern and roomy. The hotel was located in the old town centre, close to the main shopping areas with many restaurant nearby and perfectly situated for exploring. It was less than a 30 minute taxi ride from the airport (€20). Trams and buses are only short walk away. We had a great time staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us some greta aides for sightseeing whilst we were there. It was my wife’s birthday whilst we were there and they made a real effort to make it memorable and enjoyable. We had a great time.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about this hotel.

The location is close to train, bus, metro and tram for touring Lisbon. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the staff was exceptionally accommodating at every point of service. Attentive without being intrusive. The room was quiet, very comfortable with large bath, temperature/light control, comfy bed/linens, Delta espresso machine, and mini refrigerator. The TV is in the large room mirror- special touch. Breakfast was excellent and served at our reserved table. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Reception was always available to provide, for example, restaurant/Fado recommendations or patient assistance with map navigation and transportation options. A note of welcome with a personal bottle of Port and 'thank you for staying' gift of a Portuguese bottle of liquor on the evening before our departure- examples of that extra touch of hospitality that separates a 4-star from a 5-star hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon! I would definitely stay here, again.

The room was a generous size, and location was excellent although during my stay the city was very crowded because of the Pope’s visit. The hotel staff gave me good advice on how things would be affected by all the extra visitors. I felt cushioned from the crowds while I was in the hotel.

Breakfast was nice but not exceptional. Eggs cooked to order but rather bland. You can hear and feel subway noise in the rooms but it wasn’t so bad as to keep me awake at night. I’d recommend a room on a higher floor if possible.

We enjoyed our stay the staff is outstanding helpful. The room was very nice and very clean. The breakfast ist enjoyable. The location is perfect.

There is only one recommendation - you should really consider to reorganize the area behind the breakfast area to be more enjoyable.

Room was relatively large for a city center and includes a little balcony. Location is great. Walk distance from most areas of interest. Friendly staff and helpful in most cases. Small but enjoyable treats are provided to the guests' rooms every day (Cherry Liqueur, Chocolates etc.)

From some reason, the breakfast is served to the table (served by waiters). However, this service is slow. Price per room is a little bit high. Therefore I rated Value for Mony as 3/4. Having said all that, this hotel definitely deserves a warm recommendation.
