Casa da Galeria is an oasis within an island oasis. It wasn’t just the attention to detail that was noteworthy, but their attention to clients was truly inspiring. I have never felt so genuinely welcomed by every staff member as I did during our week long stay at Casa da Galeria. The impeccable apartment was spacious and very well thought out. The location is perfect to launch day trips around the island. Custom breakfast was served daily, plus for dinner you could prepare food in or go out on the town, ending the day with a super comfortable bed. The owners are art lovers, which reveals itself throughout the building as well as a gallery attached to the lobby. We absolutely loved our stay there.

Casa da Galeria was absolutely amazing and the staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and had a lot of closets for us to store our clothes and luggage. The location is very good, minutes away from restaurants and the city center. I love that we had the breakfast in our room and we got to pick what to have for breakfast each morning. The staff is very friendly and they helped us make reservations, gave us great recommendations and made us feel at home there. We really had a wonderful time at Casa da Galeria and we plan on staying here again the next time we visit Ponta Delgada. A big thank you to everyone there who made our stay amazing!

I loved absolutely everything about this property. I was welcomed by the most friendly staff and impressed by all the modern furnishings. The daily breakfast was delivered to my room and was fresh and absolutely satisfying. The garage was very convenient to use. I loved my room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a nice big size. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful visit to Ponta Delgada.

There is absolutely nothing I disliked. Everything met my expectations.

We greatly appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff were. They went above and beyond in answering all our questions and accomodating our needs (early pick up time). We enjoyed how small and intimate the hotel is how much effort they put into making our experience special. Breakfast was always delicious and the location is ideal. You can walk to all the city sights and restaurants. It was also great that they offered transportation to various parts of the island and airport (for an added fee).

It would have been nice if the tv was a smart tv and we had the ability to log in to our streaming platforms. I was also surprised the coffee was not included (had to select as a limited option on the breakfast menu). However I appreciated that tea was alway included.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa da Galeria, I cannot stress enough how much it exceeded our expectations, we would give it 16 stars out of 10 if we could. The staff was so friendly and authentic, the breakfast extremely delicious and beautifully served (the attention to detail and aesthetics was immaculate), the whole house and the rooms were beyond beautiful (the lines, the forms, the materials, the fabrics, everything was of the highest quality and taste). We enjoyed it so much: there was a pool on the roof with the view on the rooftops of Ponta Delgada, a sauna with a magnificent view outside, a gym with high quality equipment that made using it a pleasure. We feel like returning to the island only to be able to enjoy the stay at the Casa da Galeria again.

This hotel was amazing. The apartment I was in was much larger than expected, was very light and modern, and had everything I could need during my stay. Breakfast was great, and I appreciated it was brought to my room rather than having to go somewhere else to eat. What put this hotel over the top, though, was the staff. I was there under some very stressful circumstances, and everyone went out of their way to help me, and make me as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Everything was perfect.

The staff was really attentive with the guests and the communication felt really friendly. They always provided whatever we asked for and gave us a lot of useful recommendations. They paid a lot of attention to details (e.g. having two child seats in the transfer shuttle to/from the airport, making arrangements for activities suited for our family, etc.) and we felt welcomed. The same level of attention to details was put into the furnishings and design of the rooms and overall hotel with high quality appliances in the kitchen (e.g. Bosch dish washers which are generally 2-3 times more expensive than other brands) This was by far the best accommodation we had during our stay in Azores and we'll definitely stay here again when we come back.

Good location in historical center. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is well-equipped and fully matched the pictures, everything is new, modern and clean. There is a pool on the top floor (we did not use it though). I can recommend this hotel and I would stay here again myself.

There can be some noise from the car traffic in the street on the mornings, also there is a burger bar across the street and if the bar is open its visitors can produce some noise on the night. Actually I would not call this location "noisy" — I'm a light sleeper but I slept well. Just a bit pity, that the owners while building this new shiny hotel did not invest enough in soundproofing its windows - the windows are modern but not soundproof. With soundproofed windows the hotel would be ideal)

Rate Casa da Galeria offers premium accommodation at the centre of Ponta Delgada (everything is within walking distance from the hotel). Everyone at the reception and in the staff has been super-friendly, kind and communicative, willing to go the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. The hotel is modern but also classic at the same time, originally designed by established local architects. Full of beautiful wooden surfaces, local stone and radiating features all over. The room was the cherry on top; Super-efficient layout, beautiful and inviting furniture and high-spec design and implementation. Huge balcony with sitting and chilling chairs. Comfortable and right level of firmness mattress and bed. Needless to say - everything was squeaky clean. Superb experience and can't recommend enough!

First of all, the staff was amazing. They went above and beyond. We arrived from an early flight and let us unwind on their rooftop deck. We were even able to shower and get cleaned up. It was so nice to have a place to relax while we waited for our room after a long commute. We parked on the street near the hotel and didn't realize it was metered parking. We got a ticket. I asked for help reading the ticket as we do not speak Portuguese. They actually offered to pay the ticket for us and charge the fee to our room. The location is great, the breakfast is wonderful, the bed was comfortable. Again, the staff were all friendly and made us feel welcome. I would 100% recommend and would love to return myself.
