Perfect contemporary hotel, service was exceptional, great facilities (pool, bar/restaurant), personalised choice for music (vinyls). With some rooms with with kitchenettes, it’s perfect for families. Architecture, interior design, the gardens and the clam atmosphere makes the whole experience very pleasant and relaxing. We had a great rest!

The breakfast has somewhat limited choice for food (no smoked salmon, and scrambled eggs were somewhat lacking!), we had to change rooms as there was a strange smell in the bathroom - however staff were very swift to help us, and moved us to another room which was perfect. The area hotel is in is close enough to walk to the centre, or take an inexpensive taxi. However, the streets nearby are slightly unpleasant (we did not experience any issues, but we were always walking the four of us)

The music-theme is fantastic for any music-lover ! My partner was delighted that he could listen to any record he wanted and play one of the guitars that were available. The staff, though, doesn't seem to know much about (the value of) the material. E.g : wrong guitar in guitar-cases, wrong record in the wrong sleeve... But the concept is great. Also the fact that you can borrow a pick-up to listen to the records in your own room, is wonderful. The design and interior of the hotel are very tasteful, relaxing and designful, big thumb to the interior decorator. Bar and terrace are very pleasant as well, variety in breakfast is ok. The availability of a garage is a luxury. The hotel is located just close enough to get to the center of Porto by foot (2 km), of which a great part can be done along the Douro (to get to Ribeira).

The coffee at breakfast ! Please change the coffeemachine to a professional one with good coffee. Now it's instant coffee of very low quality, the hotel (and its guests) deserve better ;-) Make sure that everything that you offer at the bar, both drinks ánd snacks are really available... During our stay there was hardly any food available, so we had to go and find it elsewhere, which was a pity and a nuisance. Also, provide all the types of Gin that are on the card, because 3 of them weren't there when we ordered them. So, the only things that are not 'bad', but need improvement are, in a whole : the food and drinks, from morning till evening ;-)))

This is a really nice hotel. With a few tweaks, it could be amazing. The concept is neat, the rooms are nice & comfy. We generally just enjoyed the building, and had a nice time relaxing in the garden with a drink. It's very close to the train station, and while it's not near the city center, the metro is very close by.

The rooms are nice, with a closed off bedroom and a living area, but the hotel seems a bit undecided on what it wants that to be. A few little tweaks could make a big difference: there's the standard notice about hanging your towel, but nowhere to hang it. There's a little table next to a big TV, too close to watch. A couch with a low table would work better, or put the TV in the bedroom. They provide a kitchenette, but you need to ask for any cookware (and according to the sign, pay extra if you want to do your own dishes!) Why not provide some basics, and perhaps a moka pot to make coffee in the room (in-room coffee is listed on Booking, but not actually provided).

We found all the staff to be friendly, efficient, helpful and polite. We particularly liked the modern design throughout, from the entrance, reception, the corridors and rooms. A lot of thought has gone into the presentation. The basement concert room was good. We declined the offer of an electric guitar to take into our room, likewise a turntable. Their music library (both books and vinyl) is excellent and we could have spent longer in there. We didn't have their breakfasts as they were expensive, and with so many good cheap cafés close by we chose the latter option. Location-wise, It's about a mile from the centre and the walk is very pleasant, with shops, cafés and interesting things to see on the way. The metro station is a short walk from the hotel. We'd happily return there if visiting Porto again.

One of our cleaners left a false fingernail in our room on the first day. We left it in an obvious place for easy collection, but it stayed there the whole week!

The best thing for me was the staff , they are all very friendly and helpful. The whole hotel is renovated, the decoration is nice, the musical concept is a plus. It is awesome to have a hotel with this appearance, cost, pool and location combined.

The food of the restaurant, it is pricier than many restaurants around town, and the food is tasteless. I ordered tomato rice with shrimps, the dish came with 3 small shrimps which were dirty, and the rice was salt less and tasteless. wouldn't pay 8 euros for it, and costed 17,5. The pet charge costs 35euros per day, that's crazy, I usually pay one fee between 15 and 25 euros for the stay.

The breakfast was lovely, great variety of really fresh foods. We also ate in the restaurant which was really good. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful and professional. The hotel was a little too far outside the city centre but there was good public transport in the area so it wasn't too much hassle.

The air conditioning system wasn't good, it was controlled centrally at the reception desk so if you turned it off in the room you had to have it restarted by the reception staff.

I was excited to go to Portugal for this hotel because it caters to musicians and I play guitar myself. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, they all spoke English as well. I wish we had a longer stay honestly because of how nice this hotel was. For the price, the room was a good size and it was modern including the bathroom. The guitar rental was my favorite part. I could’ve stayed up all night playing. They also hold small concerts on certain days and have a schedule for them. I didn’t pay for breakfast when I booked but I paid for it once I got there. It was delicious and had a good variety of food. The location was great because it was walking distance to the Campanha Station. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Portugal!

I really loved the music-related concept. Such a cool experience. All the staff I met were super kind and friendly. (They tried to write my name in my language on the key cover, which was so sweet.) The minimalistic design is also beautiful.

Like other people mentioned, it would be much nicer if there were a wider range of music and records. Also, I think there should be more shelves or a hook in the bathroom. Kind of embarrassed at first because there was nowhere to put my clothes to change.

The bar manager Lewis . He unfortunately showed he treated customers differently. . His enquiry probably cost a return visit. We would have recommended it to friends and family because we thought everything was good but it actually spoiled it for the hotel . . It's such a shame he let the hotel down when all the other members of staff were fantastic . I would say not a good example for his junior members of staff .

The hotel looks brand new, clean and well organized. It's 5 minuts walking from the metro station or 20 min walking to the city center. Our room was pretty big, perfectly clean and furnished with basic kitchen equipments and a kettle (we use only this piece of equipment, so I can't say whether the rest was working). The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, the best I have ever slept on! The bathroom was clean and small. The staff was nice and welcoming

Sometimes there was an unpleasant swage smell at the entrance of the hotel. Our room didn't have bedside table, which was slightly annoying as I had to put mobile phone and other stuff on the floor. We tried the breakfast once: it's 12 euros, but I'm not sure it's worth it: it's an all-you-can-it breakfast with eggs, bacon and ham, but with instant coffees and milk, and frozen pastry/bread. You can have a cheaper breakfast in nearby caffetteria in my opinion.
