Really nice, clean hotel. The staff was super friendly. It felt like we were with a fancier hotel chain without the price. Location was great. Close to the freeway and within 15-20 minutes of all the things we wanted to do.

3 things kept me from rating this hotel a 10. 1, There’s no continental breakfast. They encourage you to use the restaurant that is right next door but I’d rather have one provided at no cost by the hotel. 2, The bathroom in the room has no ventilation so it does smell a little like a porta-potty. The AC also has a weird smell to it. And 3, I requested a top floor room with a view and we got a ground level room with no view. So that was kind of a bummer.

Great location. Clean, quiet. Great weather. Really surprised how quiet it was with train yard and restaurant/bar next to hotel. Had a great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great place.

The only problem was the restaurant they are associated with. Very small portions of food. Ordered fish tacos and there was one little sliver of fish in each one. Rice and beans came out of a can. The servers there really didn't like us being there. Luckily we only went there once. I recommend not getting their breakfast included package and eating at other great places in the area. Like Aunt Emma's pancakes.

Every single thing! I mostly enjoyed the cleanliness. The staff was helpful, friendly, accommodating and really looked like they enjoy their work. The hot tub worked so that was a plus for me, the pool was clean. The lobby was immaculate. There's all day coffee, the pillows are soft, the air conditioning worked great and I love that. We received a welcome bag when we checked in, the front desk from 8/23-8/25 were great. Being from out of town I had questions as the best beach to go etc and was given great advice. I felt very safe being there with my 2 teenagers. I loved our stay.

It was next to the freeway but quiet. It was very clean and conveniently there was a restaurant across the parking lot the drinks were good food was alright for a quick bite. The hotel was easy to check in we even checked in early which was great and we received a welcome bag with snacks and drinks which we loved it added a good touch that other hotels have never done. The hotel was quiet nobody running around in the morning when they were cleaning other rooms the staff was quiet we were able to sleep in unlike other hotels that we would hear people and staff in the hallway. I would stay again. We were also able to open the window to get fresh air and breeze from outside. Lots of parking.

We did find 2 tiny spiders but nothing exaggerating. We couldn’t cast to the tv unlike other places we stayed.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this property. The cleanliness of the pool is consistently excellent, and the housekeepers do a fantastic job. I had a wonderful time during my stay. This is my second time booking with this hotel, and I look forward to booking again in the future. The staff members are exceptional, and the housekeeping team deserves to be recognized for their hard work. It's truly a fantastic experience.

I can't find anything negative to say about this property. It's absolutely worth the money. Nothing bad at all.

The staff was very friendly and accommodated my request for a room close to the elevator. The hotel lobby smelled great, was very pretty and clean and the hot chocolate from the machine was really good! The pool is heated so you can enjoy it regardless of it being a cool day. The room was nice and comfy!

The fridge in the room didn’t get very cold. Either there’s a dial I couldn’t find that needs to be raised or maybe it’s slowly breaking down?

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Marina Gateway Hotel, impressed by its cleanliness and modernity. The staff were notably helpful and kind, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While conveniently located within a 10-minute drive from tourist attractions, the hotel's industrial surroundings meant scenic views and walkable destinations were limited. However, the short drive to attractions, combined with the hotel's reasonable rates and new facilities, outweighed these minor inconveniences. Although not the most scenic location, for those prioritizing cleanliness, affordability, and convenience, this hotel is an excellent choice.

The venue appeared clean, modern, inviting, and well-decorated. The staff was approachable, friendly and professional well dressed, and accommodating. The room was spacious and our bed was very comfortable, we slept well all three nights. I would definitely come again.

Our tub in our room had a very slow drain every time we took a shower, and water was up to our ankles; this was addressed to the front desk the first day. Unfortunately, the maintenance personnel didn't clean up the gunk that came out of the drain & required the night staff to clean it up when we returned to the hotel. The problem persisted for the rest of our stay. The front desk and staff were apologetic, and I asked them to please fix it before another guest used this room. I'm sure this could have been an isolated situation, but overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay; we would come back because of how inviting the venue is, and more importantly, the staff was accommodating and very friendly to their guest.

They accommodated our request for ground floor room. We liked easy access.

Our stay was over Christmas. They advertised a sports bar and restaurant (great college games were scheduled). When we arrived, I asked where the restaurant was, we were hungry, but we were told it was closed, along with the hotel's food service due to the holiday. We had no access to a meal our entire stay (unless we wanted to go find a place). The vending machines in the hotel only offered sweets and carbs.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The site was gorgeous and the hotel was well decorated. It felt very cozy and comfortable when I walked in. The room was quiet despite being close to the freeway. The temperature in the room was perfect.

My reservation stated that breakfast was included but they didn't have breakfast on-site. I did receive a 10% discount at the restaurant across the way but it was certainly more more than a standard continental breakfast. Needless to say, it was misleading. The room was clean and organized but the room could use minor upgrades. For instance, the bathroom tub had cracks in it. The lights were only on lamps so it was dim and hard to read my book. Also, the pillows were WAY too small. They were the size of throw pillows so it made it difficult to sleep. The bed itself was comfortable but would have loved larger (standard-sized) pillows.
