Great, central location. The hotel is in the center of Waikiki, close to shops, restaurant and one block from Waikiki Beach. The hotel had a decent restaurant, Maui Brewing Company. The hotel allowed you to take their pool towels to the beach for added convenience. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The “ocean view” room is not as advertised. There are big hotel buildings blocking the view of the ocean and you can see slivers of ocean between the building, thus making it more of a partial ocean view room. It is false to show photos of unobstructed views of the ocean, pay more, then to find out “it is what it is”. There are NO amenities in the room when you first walk in. I had to call and ask for shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Then I had to call again asking for a robe (that is listed as an amenity on the room’s description). The staff are happy to provide but it is uncomfortable to ask for every little item that should already be in the room. it makes me wonder, what else is available that I just don’t know was even an option?

They did not honour booking.com agreed room rate. Tried several occasions to get them to honour it....out of pocket $1,500 (Aus) extra. Also tried to charge on top extra $65 (US) per night for my son even tho I had made the booking for 2 adults and one child (12)...apon check out they gave me a fluff invoice that reflects booking.com price.....but did not give refund or credit for overcharge. I think it was just to get me out the door

The location is incredible, right in the heart of Waikiki! This hotel is our favourite as this is our second time staying here. The rooms are spotless, the staff are so friendly and helpful! I recommend upgrading to get the ocean view, you won’t regret it!

The pillows are kinda hard though but we were always too tired at the end of the day to bother us. Having an ocean view room means you’ll be facing the main street of Kalakaua as well so you will hear the loud noises at night if you’re a light sleeper.

Hotel is right on the main strip in Waikiki. Tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance and easy access to the beach. Our room was clean, spacious and we could see the beach from our balcony. The pool area is nice and we loved the caffe and bar next to the pool. All the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

If you are driving, getting into the valet area is a little tricky. The sidewalk was so crowded it was difficult to turn in. The street is also very lively and noisy with street performers and cheering crowds. It does quiet down by 11pm or so. It didn’t bother us as we are a family with older teens, but I could see it being too noisy if they were still little. Also we expected our room to have 2 beds and a sleeper sofa but when we got in we didn’t have a sleeper sofa. We were able to call the desk and they sent us a rollaway bed right away. On the last day of our stay the pool was closed down at noon for a private event so we weren’t able to use it. So that was disappointing. Overall we enjoyed the hotel and would consider staying there again.

When doing Check-In at the front desk a lady named “Ashley” treated us excellent and provided us with 10 stars service! Ashley made our whole experience an unforgettable one. thank you Ms. Ashley!!

Excellent location, big room. The restaurant near the pool is good.

The room was advertised as “Waikiki view”. As a matter of fact, the room we got on the 2nd floor had no view at all (unless a huge roof and the monotonous face of a high building are considered a view…). Also, the pool is quite small, and often too crowded.

I'll definitely come back next time I visit Waikiki. Location is really good. Walking distance to Wakiki beach. Taxi from airport to the hotel and back. affordable and convenient. comfortable bed and good design in sink area and bathroom. join membership at the frontdesk for free and then get free bottle water and discount for certain restaurants. with swimming pool and good cafe downstairs. I booked when there was a promotion. worthy it

The location of the hotel, opposite the Cheesecake Factory, was great. Right in the action.

Room was on 4th floor and overlooked an extremely noisy air conditioning external unit. It was unpleasant to open the sliding door, sitting on the balcony was out of the question - far too noisy. To be fair, we booked a 'cheap' room (at over $500 AUD per night, thanks to our terrible exchange rate), The 'resort fee' is a rort. $40 a day for free wifi and a plastic shopping bag. Hotels charging this fee should have a bit of a re-think in my opinion and just add it to their rate and be done with it.

Good location, rooms were nice and clean, staff is good. There is a nice coffee shop in the hotel and there is an amazing frozen banana icecream shop across the street. Since the hotel is close to the main street there will be noise at night if you are ok with it. I went there during the Oahu festival and saw the best firework from the comfort of my room.

Wifi was slow.
