The room was clean and the bed was firm but comfortable. You can see the ocean from the hotel and the room I got, but cannot walk out to it. The pool was a nice touch.

The internet doesn't work anywhere in the hotel, you cannot walk out to the beach because there are rocks, you can't walk to anything and MUST have a car, there is no food/restaurants within walking distance. There is nothing within walking distance. Be careful on the stairs to get to the room because they are not all the same height so I fell going up/down the stairs several times. There was only one outlet in the room and one in the bathroom so nowhere to plug in multiple things (phone, computer, etc.). The sliding door to the balcony didn't have a lock.

This is a funky older hotel. The architecture is kinda Spanish/Mediterranean almost hacienda style. You check in and you still get metal room keys. It sure is an ocean front hotel! Some storm took the beach completely away and now the waves literally wash up against the hotel. And the ocean waves can toss crabs over the wall into the pool. There was one lady there completely bilingual and immensely helpful. They have little patios off each room. You will hear the ocean at night. Easy walk to the Luquillo eateries.

No beach, no breakfast, limited English here. Don’t misunderstand: they were 100% up-front about the beach situation and breakfast. If you have no Spanish language skills the staff might not meet your expectations. If you need a concierge who speaks English, this might not be the place for you. If you just need a comfortable bed, good linens, a clean room, and good HVAC, then this might be perfect.

So close to El Yunque! We loved watching the waves crash into shore from the hotel's terrace at night. We appreciated the hotel holding one of our bags for the night we spent on Vieques. Staff was friendly. Pool facilities were nice with outdoor showers for a quick rinse off.

Not having instructions on how to adjust the air conditioner. It took some help from the internet to find out how to make adjustments as it was set to freezing and blew directly on one side of the bed. Also, the threshold to the bathroom was raised so high we often tripped on it.

This was our first time in Puerto Rico and the hotel was very nice and they kept it clean always. The staff was very polite always. I loved being right next to the beach and Luquillo is absolutely beautiful! The location is around a lot of restaurants and near the rainforest. The only downside to the hotel is the pool closes at 6. If your looking for a well priced hotel that is very clean with a great beach and a lot of access to different things to do as a tourist you will not be disappointed.

This cozy seaside stay was great for restful walks along Playa Fortuna and peaceful swims further down on Luquillo Beach, great food at the kiosks, a nearby authentic bakery, and convenience to a mini-market. If we had a car, it would have been a great homebase for day-trips. The pool was clean and comfortable but more used by the families and those with rooms and balconies overlooking the pool area. The gate from the pool area to the sea is secure, so access is better walking around the corner along the Playa Fortuna beach palm tree-lined area or through the bario in the other direction for a more secluded beach area. The sounds of the crashing waves were exhilarating. Some bigger suites overlook the sea. Our initial room had less view and the balcony was not as useful for our needs of laptop chilling, but the owner's top concern is for guests to have a pleasant stay and he came up with some alternative options for us (one being a house rental nearby for a few additional days when the hotel was fully booked). Fresh coffee each morning and lovely terrace area were well enjoyed. A microwave in the lobby and a mini-fridge in the room were useful for reheating yummy take-away food from the fabulous La Parilla restaurant down the beach. Taxi from San Juan around $100 (Uber for less) and a bit of a wait time to get an Uber anywhere--especially during the holiday season.

Different room options, so we needed to be clearer in what was booked for our needs and length of stay. Double bed and limited view balcony was adequate, terrace was great, but thankfully the owner had some other options to offer. Overall a great stay and we would return!

Great location and fresh morning coffee with crashing waves sound on an outside terrace! Very professional and very nice customer service! I stayed 1 night there with my friends, was very impressed by this hotel and came back for 2 more night on my own to visit rainforest and stayed there one more night with my husband before my flight. This hotel is a very calm escape place close to rainforest ( 11 min by car) and an airport (27 min)! I do recommend to stay here! Thank you, Edgar and Adianice, very much for your service! I loved the fact that all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They always made sure we had what was needed. Whether that be with our room or direction to the best areas to visit. The location is perfect to get around to local shops and restaurants. The best part of it all was the safety we felt being there. We will definitely revisit again.

The beds were a little hard but we were informed that things are being updated. Other than that, there were no complaints

Our hotel was spacious, and we liked the layout and kitchen that was in our suite. It had cute decorations. The woman who checked us in (Her name started with an A) was wonderful and helpful. There was free parking for our car. The location right on the beach was wonderful, and the sound of the ocean was prominent and relaxing in our room.

This was our fault for not researching, but swimming is not allowed at the beach where the hotel is because the water is too rough, and it's more of a rocky beach.

Everything was great easy check in. Private parking across the street. At night time it’s up too all the guests to keep the gates and main door locked for security. Beautiful beach view. 5 minute drive to luquillo beach and many restaurants.

Very minimum sound proofing you can hear people walking down the hallway and above you. The mosquitos at night out in the back by the pool and terrace are relentless so you can’t even really sit outside and enjoy the breeze and waves.
