Very clean, with nice living room for relaxing, reading, a nice breakfast area, and a porch with beach chairs and umbrellas available for use in the beach. Parking available. Access to the beach near La Plaza del Indio makes this place an awesome location. We felt very safe due to the security and access control of the house. The house Manager responses to our questions were timely and on point.

It is a very nice B&B. I would stay there again!

Stayed here for our honeymoon; Casa Isabel was a great choice! We loved the privacy of our room and the kitchenette in the separate suite. The morning breakfasts are delicious and abundant. Margy was a gracious host and took time out to speak to us most days we were there. The area is very quiet and safe with lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. There is also a 24 hour grocery store (Supermax) 5 minutes away on foot if any last minute supplies are needed for your stay. Staying here made our trip even better! We definitely would recommend to couples looking for a nice place to stay on their trip.

Breakfast was consistently good, and there was plenty to fuel up for the day. Our host provided options suitable for my wife (she has a gluten allergy) as well as some day-to-day variation in breakfast-different fruits, meats, juices, coffee, several teas, etc. Not fancy, but always substantial and delicious. Our room was great-just the right size for two people and our own bathroom. The house dates from 1933, so the architectural details-archways, flooring etc.- give it character that we really liked. As I told our host-by the end of our week there, we were referring to it as “home” when we were out and about! The staff were also great-kind and attentive and generally anticipated needs.

I cannot think of one thing I have to complain about. We really liked it.

Rare to get breakfast included in PR so it was much appreciated. Loved all the beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, cooler, hats, sunscreen, boogie boards, toys). Lovely little covered sunroom where you can lounge and read a book. A beach is just up the street, not the best in PR, but easily accessible. Also has grocery store, gas station, pharmacy, restaurants in walking distance.

When we arrived at night after a long day of traveling, there was a lot of sand all around on the floor of our room, had to grab a broom from the kitchen and sweep it up. Not a big deal but it made us wonder how much the room was cleaned prior to our stay.

Perfect location in a quiet safe residential area of the Condado, 2 blocks from the beach. 1 block from a major thoroughfare with restaurants, pubs and nightclubs. A 15 min walk to The Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico & 25min walk from the Centro de Bellas Artes (SJ's Lincoln Centerish complex). Margie, the owner, runs a well-oiled ship. Great staff prepares the daily breakfasts and do the housekeeping. The breakfasts are varied in choice of hot and continental selections. The B&b is equipped with all possible amenities & seems to have anticipated every need. Towels for the beach, collapsible portable chaise longes, sun hats, sunscreen. Etc. Ubers service the area conveniently. A short 30min ride into Old San Juan and all its charms. 30 min ride to the Airport. I loves the secure coded access to the facility and that building's architecture speaks of early 1930s elite digs. I'll stay here again for my next visit

Cannot think of ANYTHING about casa Isabela that I didn't like!

Absolutely everything about Casa Isabel was exceptional! The very positive remarks of previous guests and the high marks on booking sites are right on target! The location is perfect for going to the beach or to Old San Juan, walking to amazing museums, restaurants, grocery store (SuperMax is 24/7 and enormous), and simply enjoying the neighborhood. And, just a short ride to/from the airport. The owner, Margie, is delightful and the staff are very friendly. Lovely to start each morning in the breakfast area with a cup of coffee or tea and a variety of delicious options - waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage, toast, muffins, cereal, juices and fresh fruit! The living room and the "beach" room are both comfortable. Grab a beach chair and off you go just down the block to a wide, uncrowded, clean beach. Watching and listening to the waves will de-stress you in moments! Looking forward to returning next year! Thanks Margie for a super vacation!

This Bed and Breakfast was very charming. The sitting areas were beautiful and the breakfast was good. The room was very clean and had a refrigerator. There was a beach at the end of the street, just a quick walk away. We did not use them, but they had beach chairs and other beach items that you could use. They also had a cute balcony in the back that was fun to sit on at night.

We found parking on the street but had to look for a while. The parking area is not very big so I would not count on it being available. The bed was a little small for us, although it was comfy. They insisted on having us show a proof of Covid vaccine (we needed to send a picture of our vaccine cards) or else they would not check you in.

I just love the house in general it’s so chill and relaxing it was just me and my wife and we had the whole place to ourselves so the house was pretty quiet. The casa is literally walking distance to the beach she has beach chairs, towels, snorkeling gear, umbrellas, sand toys and more. It’s also in the Condado area so we got some electric scooters and road through the food district of Condado. The area is safe you see people out for a jog around town on the daily this a great place if you’re looking to stay in San Juan. Most hotels in Puerto Rico don’t serve breakfast or even have the best reviews this B&B is the place to go. Breakfasts was great, if your a snacker like me you can walk to the nearby convenience store and grab a few snacks ( the walk there looks sketchy at night so be careful of your surroundings) even though it’s safe area always watch your surroundings

The fruit for breakfast had fruit flies around it. But not going to lie I still ate it 😂🤷🏾‍♂️. And there’s a loud a engine noise coming from the property that woke us up in the middle of the night honestly it was pretty loud and annoying.

Not even sure where to start. The stay at Casa Isabel was AMAZING! Our host was so nice and knowledgeable, and communication even before the trip was great. I asked if she could set up a little surprise for my bf for when we walked into the room since it was his birthday trip, and they had set up a "Happy Birthday" banner, with balloons, and fake rose petals on the bed that said "Love". It was so cute and thoughtful. The room itself had everything we needed. The bathroom was pretty modern, the shower was great with nice water pressure and it was never short of hot water for us. Our room was a bit darker than the rest, but we were barely in there so it's okay. The bed was very comfortable AND the room had a fan and strong AC which was a blessing to come home to. The rest of the BnB gets even better and better as you keep exploring. Everything was so pretty and had so much culture. The eating area was great, and the breakfast every morning was just what you needed to have a good start to your day. She also had a lovely terrace you can walk up to which offered a great view of the neighborhood. There were so many places in the BnB where you could just sit and enjoy being in Puerto Rico so you never felt like you were just stuck in your room if you were there. She also had so much beach gear that was up for grabs, plenty of beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, sunscreen, etc. And to top it off, the beach was only a 3 minute walk from the front door. 3 minutes to the other side of the BnB was Calle Loiza, packed with so many bars and restaurants. We were also steps away from a 24/7 Convenient Store and minutes away from really cool cafes, restaurants, stores, and the going-out scene. However, it was never chaotic or loud on our street. All in all, our stay at Casa Isabel was beyond perfect. We were so happy during our entire stay and did not want to leave.

Nothing, I loved everything.
