I want to share my experience at W Doha. Due to the low reviews, I was unsure whether to book it, so I decided to check it out upon arrival and make my decision then. The location is perfect—the sea is just a few meters away, and malls are nearby. It’s right in the city center, making everything easily accessible. From the moment you enter the hotel, you feel a positive vibe. Security is top-notch, evident even at the entrance. The guards and concierge are very helpful. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the welcome desk personnel. We were welcomed by Herman, who was incredibly helpful and kind-hearted. He explained everything clearly and assisted us with great care. Ani is a rare find—her beauty matches her beautiful heart. She arranged a Valentine’s Day surprise in our room, with roses, balloons, and sweets. It was our first night at the hotel, and the experience was truly thrilling. She also gave advice on how to enjoy staying in Doha. Concierge Efe helped us organize a safari tour. He provided detailed and clear recommendations, ensuring we had the best experience. Throughout our stay, the staff remained attentive and supportive, ensuring we felt comfortable. The hotel is exactly as described and looks just like the pictures. Everything is spotlessly clean, with housekeeping done twice a day. The staff is always ready to assist. If I ever had any doubts about staying, I now know exactly where I’ll stay whenever I visit Doha. The breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of options. The hotel also hosts many events, so you never feel bored. It’s 100% worth staying here, and I highly recommend it!

Classy hotel with very friendly staff who do go the extra mile to make you feel special. Breakfast buffet scores 11/10. Absolutely brilliant with extensive choice and attentive waiting staff to bring a la carte choices. Room was modern, comfortable and the bathroom large with a great shower. Reception very pretty with frankly breathtaking flower displays at the entrance. Due to a cleaning issue with our room, we were given a super-late checkout on our departure date and a voucher for a drink in their bar by Tariq for which we were very grateful and for which he deserves a special thanks. I love a hotel that cares about all its guests and the W Doha certainly does that.

My wife and I stayed at the W for a 4-day layover before our honeymoon trip to the Maldives. We have nothing but positive things to say about the hotel. First of all, they upgraded our room because we were on our honeymoon and helped us arrange a late checkout, as our departure flight was very early — this was a huge help. But that’s not the main reason I wanted to leave a review. The real highlight was the staff — incredibly attentive and helpful. From the security at the entrance, to the receptionists, to the room cleaners, everyone was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of international options as well as Arabic/Oriental dishes. It was definitely worth it. We will definitely stay again during future trips to Doha and will look for the W brand in other locations

Everything was good and the personal staff were helpful. from the reception team Mr. Baha and Tarek to Miss Wiam at the restaurant Market without forgetting Mr Bilal who was helping me with my bags, all the small details were taking in a good care by them. Also I want to thanx the Manager of Coya ( forgot his name ) who also took a really good care of me and managed to change my drinks since a small mistake happened. Above all they make you feel good and very welcomed.

I wish they are more Vegan and Gluten free options in the breakfast especially in term of the dessert.

Great location, near the Doha sand beach, and shopping centre with metro station, and Corniche promenade, excellent hotel service, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, great choice for everyone, pool and sauna and the acces to the beach club Doha sands included, no extra charges, clean and large room with nice view. Warm welcome from reception and they allowed us late checkout without extra charge and we would like to thank especially to Mrs. Mae from W cafe for lovely service... The best hotel we have ever been in. Thank you

The waiting time to enter the restaurant for breakfast is due to the limited number of tables which cannot accommodate even half of the hotel guests. I hope a larger space can be allocated to avoid the waiting in future.

Breakfast was amazing with a great variety, and the beds were super comfortable. The room size was good, and the hotel is within walking distance of Doha City Center. Overall, I’d highly recommend the hotel, but be mindful of how they handle charges at the end of your stay. Would I stay there again? I wouldn’t mind, but I’d prefer to try something else in the area on my next visit to Qatar.

The hotel blocked the full stay charges plus an additional security deposit on my card when I arrived. However, at checkout, they charged me separately for my stay instead of using the blocked amount. They should have used the blocked funds for the charges, and now I have to wait at least 15 days for the blocked amount to be released back into my account.

I received different info from the checkin staff regarding receiving online orders that they have 440 rooms to cater and it will take time to receive the order to your room so it is better to come down to wait for my orders and apparently the other staff is telling that i should just wait inside the room and the orders came so fast actually. Kinda frustated about this miscommunication coz i really went down and wandering at few places to look for the orders. In the end i met the staff who actually went to the room to look for me. Imagine.

Were we welcomed warmly by all staff. Their attention to all of my needs were catered for. It was such a pleasure to experience. The rooms are spacious with interesting interior design. Its a abstract take of a modern set hotel which was interesting. To our surprise our room was upgraded to the Wow suite. The hotel was also nice enough to send a birthday mini-cake and chocolate covered strawberries for my wifes birthday. Thank you to the front desk staff for taking note.

I didnt like the security screening at the front door. My wife and I had to go through a metal detector and x-ray for our bags. This is the first time I've ever seen this and I was quite alarmed by it. Another thing I didnt like was the maintenance of the lobby. Lots of construction noises throughout the lobby. This I understand is not within the hotels control.

Breakfast was amazing. Lots of options. The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing and accommodated my every request. The cleaners, engineers, reception, the concierge and restaurant staff exceeded my expectations. The hotel was really clean and provided a lovely breakfast. My request for my husband and mums birthday was met and they enjoyed the surprise.
