We lived our stay here (so much we have now stayed in two more Lyf hotels while traveling) Great location - walkable to marine bay and china town Right by the train station (easy airport connection) Plenty of food options in the mall it’s set in Friendly staff Very comfortable bed and modern room - lots of space, hooks and shelves (basics but so many places don’t think these things through) Will be coming back to Singapore after our 6 months in Asia and will stay here again Nice kitchen to cook if desired - great to have an ice machine with the filtered water

We got free breakfast (booked through booking.com) but only breakfast for one person despite the room being for two? Seemed strange… we weren’t fussed about breakfast but annoying if a couple did want to eat

Excellent location with perfect connections to MRT stations. Close to City Hall (undercover), Clarkes Quay and Fort Canning all nearby. Perfect for solo travellers with safe, accessible and budget friendly accommodation. Access to cold and hot water stations was very useful for keeping hydrated. If you’re visiting as a tourist try to request a city view room. I fluked it, but it made my experience all the better. It would have been quite different getting an inward facing room. Funan shopping complex has everything you need - supermarket (B1), food court and restaurants either side (the dumpling/Chinese restaurant tucked away was delicious - I found it on my last day). By far my favourite part of my stay was the roof top garden with, in my opinion, one of the best views in Singapore and worthy of a sunrise visit.

The accommodation has a hostel feel to it but for not a huge difference in price from a hotel. It is, however, a hotel with private rooms. The co-living atmosphere gives communal vibes which I was seeking but perhaps not the shared fridge, etc. I stayed 9 nights with 1 light clean and 1 regular clean, a further clean before night 7 (main clean) would have been good. Rooms are perfect for solo travel but I wouldn’t recommend for travellers sharing rooms - there’s not a lot of scope for privacy with the bathroom and the bed configuration wouldn’t be great for sharing. Perhaps if sharing, get the twin bunk room if that’s something you’d consider. A great stay - just offering the helpful tips and insights gained from my stay.

The hotel is very new and equipped more for a long stay and work: has an open space for work, meeting rooms, huge shared kitchen, coffee machine, lunch room, washers and dryers, gym, terases, all new and well equipped. Each floor has a common mini fridge and water cooler/warmer. The rooms are private and secure(you can access only your floor).Big shower and comfy large bed, shampoo/soap/etc, hair drier, good internet, AC, all the amenities you need in a hotel room. Everything is very clean and new, the house keeping is done at reasonable times (every 3 days). The location is amazing, close by foot to every major attractions and in a very secure area. The hotel is on top of an mall, so you have groceries/food court there, plus a lot of activities: climbing/shopping/cinema.

The main kitchen needs more coffee mugs :D

I understand that it is hard to live without ac in Singapore. But on top of the whole city/building being on extremely active air conditioning, the fan of the ac unit in the room was directly aimed at the bed. The result was one of us getting sick because of the constant ac abuse and fan running on top of him during sleep. We consequently, lost precious time staying inside resting and recovering, instead of being outside exploring the city. The room could also have a simple spare bed sheet (which would be more than enough), instead of a thick blanket. It is hard to understand: hot outside, cold inside, use a thick blanket to stay warm inside.

The staff made this experience a standout.

Configuration with elevated bed platform against the wall wont suit everyone but was very comfortable.

The breakfasts were provided thru Monday and Friday. Not enough options of foods, mainly fried eggs, breads and some dishes for congee in Taiwanese, or Chinese style. The design of the interior is amazingly smart and accessible to me, love it very much. Mostly, it's a hotel brand advocation a policy with environmental care and self-help. Couple of the great things are they situated inside of malls, very convenient in terms of shopping, culture excitements and traffic. Sightseeings are all within walking distance.

I got a power shutdown right at the time when I just checked in. Corners in the room are not good for children or elderly people. Bathroom is always wet and hard to get dry, it would splashes water around if you take a shower.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Super modern and eco-friendly hotel! It seems people book it also for long-term stay (a few people work there during daytime, many washing machines available). You can get cold drinks at the reception as self-checkout; there's a super spacey kitchen with like 10 microwaves. The entrance is located inside the mall (take the elevator to your very first right opposite to McD), I had troubles to find the access first. The mall is the most interesting mall I've ever been to - great open, innovative concept. You can have breakfast there (I recommend Kaya toast on B2 level for a true Singapore experience, handy that it's also directly in MRT direction), they also have a small supermarket, and many more interesting shops and leisure activities. After I stayed here, I finally understood why Singaporeans love to visit malls. On weekends it's very crowded though (as in all Singapore malls). I am glad I booked this hotel! For this central location it was the most cost-effective choice for me.

There's noticeable music playing in the common area which (due to the open architecture) was audible from my room even around 10/11 PM. Sometime at night it was turned down though, so I wasn't bothered by it. WiFi is not very stable, I got frequent outages of 10-30 seconds. So I was grateful to get a "real" key card to my room so I didn't have to rely on the app to unlock my room (the app is also not always very reliable). I think for some people it might be good to know that this is really a very modern hotel with younger guests and younger staff. It feels a little like a hostel but with hotel rooms! I was fine (32), but if I think of my parents (60+, German), I think for them it might be a little strange to stay there.

The windows didn't keep much noise out, take ear plugs if you stay here. The bed being pushed up against the wall was a bit awkward but not the end of the world. The location and facilities make up for it.

I did not have the breakfast that was included, woke up too late and it ends at 10 am, there are so many options in the mall. There was a kettle in the room and I made my own coffee. The Funan mall has so many great places to eat and shopping, the groceries in Singapore are CRAZY Expensive. Although there are great coliving cooking facilities at the hotel, buying groceries looks more expensive than grabbing a quick bite in the over 30 food places right in the mall. I did buy some snacks and Soy Milk for my coffee. I live in a cohousing community back home so this felt very friendly and familiar. Super Location for transit, and access to the high end attractions, waterfront walking paths and fun things that make a visit to Singapore interesting. I liked the bathroom setup and the included toiletries choices, having a kettle in my room and the water jug supplied so you didnt have to buy bottled water.

The Laundry facilities were nice but again really really expensive, $8 per load is nuts. Having a small fridge and filtered water station and sink at each lobby was a great idea, too bad our water dispenser in the 12th floor was broken, only gave warm water. My room was comfy, but the bed is on a platform and its puched ovber so you need to navigate an awkward ledge to in and out of bed. Also, the garbage or loading and unloading bay is used every noight between 2-4 am and the trucks are loud, so try not to book a room that faces the alley between the buildings, very annoying. The blinds were not blackout so plan to be getting up or have an eyemask.

It was very clean and functional. The room appears quite clinical as it’s nearly all white. I had a single suite and the bed & pillows were very comfortable. The shower room was great and everything worked including the kettle. Really good location for the MRT and getting to the airport or the main sights of Singapore. Used the washing machines and dryer, as well as the iron & ironing board.

The WiFi was rubbish! The ceiling was unpainted plaster. The bed was on a platform up against the windows, which had to be negotiated to get to the mattress or to the 2 blind cords. There was a good sized safe but it was placed on the floor under the platform against the wall. With the door opening L to R, it was v difficult to see into or to reach into.
